This Taco Bell has a really unique design compared to other locations. The inside was clean and had a nice atmosphere, probably because it's so close to the University of Louisville. They had four kiosks available for ordering, but I couldn't find the menu item I wanted. I asked one of the employees, and they were kind enough to make it for me anyway. That level of customer service really stood out. The tacos and other food were generously filled and tasted great. Overall, I had a very satisfying experience here. Highly recommend. read more

Oh dear where to start!!! First off as soon as I walked into the store it smelled TERRIBLE and I'm talking BAD. Then I went op to the counter to order and the worker taking my order was very RUDE she kept rolling her eyes at me and sighing, like I was being a nuisance to her. Then I sat down at a table and waited 15 MINUTES!! For one taco! I got up to the bathroom and when I walked into the bathroom, let's just say that there are NO words to describe how HORRIFYING it looked, now I know that fast food bathrooms are never luxurious, however I would expect at least SOME sort of maintenance, it looked like Godzilla went to the bathroom, there was toilet paper on the floor the sinks were out of soap and the floor was wet, and somebody did NOT flush the toilet. So I headed back to my seat and waited. Let's just say this restaurant attracts some weirdos because there was an old fam with his feet out.... Finally my food came and the server looked pissed that I was even there, like excuse me I'm a paying customer!!! So I took my taco and left I was done with this place! When I got to my car and was about to eat my taco when I tasted something and I opened it up and realized they added onions, and I SPECIFICALLY stated that I had an intolerance but it was too late because I had already eaten some, then a mysterious van pulled up next to me and I felt unsafe so I left. Taco Bell located right across from the university of Lousiville campus in the city of Lousiville Kentucky. This is a very nice and renovated Taco Bell. Actually has a pretty nice patio and interior seating with charging ports and good space. By how most people know if they like Taco Bell's food or not. For me personally I enjoy it. Personal presences for me are the soft tacos, quesadillas and like most people with red blood running through their veins I miss the Mexican pizza. Thai location outside of being modern and updated with a really cool Lousiville cardinals mural on the outside (go cards!) actually does an above average job on service and accuracy. So overall this is one of the nicer Taco Bell's in the city of not the nicest. read more

I went here with my friends and one of them got two tacos, they both only had maybe a tablespoon of meat and they said they'd charge extra for more. the taco only had meat and cheese on it. I complained after they said they'd charge extra for more meat and then they proceeded to not only just stare at me blankly but then laugh and whisper to eachother. Then the next customer, an elderly man, also had to complain for the exact same thing. We started coming to this Taco Bell about a year ago because the one we had been going to started getting our order wrong constantly. At first, they always got our order right at this location and we were glad to have finally found a decent Taco Bell. Well the past few months they have gone completely down hill. Our food has been wrong at least the last ten times we've been here. Don't bother paying for anything extra on anything because you'll never get it! The wait times are also ridiculously long. The staff is also pretty rude and never friendly. Most of the time the person at the window never even says anything to me! I don't expect much from fast food workers but when you hand me the food and I am the one that thanks you and then you just scowl at me that is beyond unprofessional. They also take forever to make even small orders. I have never seen fast food workers move so slowly and that's really saying something. If you think going in will be faster than the drive-thru you are sadly mistaken. The food somehow takes twice as long even if you're the only person in there. Tonight, I ordered the triple layer nachos and not a single chip was unbroken or normal sized. All of the chips were literally crumbs. I also ordered extra red sauce on them and there was hardly any sauce at all. I think they were mad that I asked for the beans they left off, which I only did because I had paid extra to have both black and refried beans. I don't know if they were just trying to get back at me for asking or if all of their chips are crumbs at this point and they're too lazy to make more, but either way I wasn't happy. They haven't remembered to put both beans once in the last few months and this was the first time I've ever asked for them to correct the mistake, so next time I'll know to not bother. I don't really get why this randomly started happening when they had been getting our food right for months prior. All in all, do NOT waste your time or money at this Taco Bell. If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. I placed an online mobile order and saw the drive-thru line was long as hell so I went inside to pick it up. When I walked in, I waited for someone to greet me at the register and nobody did, they were just standing around. Only two of the female employees were actively working making peoples food, so thank god for those two ladies because without them i'm sure that it would be even longer of a wait... After about 5-10 minutes I walked up to their kitchen area to tell them I had a mobile order I had paid for. There were multiple people in front of me, including delivery drivers (one of which walked out of the restaurant due to lack of employee attention), a group of people who ONLY ordered drinks and were waiting for them for over 20 min, and others. I waited nearly 35 fucking minutes for 2 meals. The only reason we even came here is because it was the only thing that was open. I tried this new Taco Bell in the hopes that they had better and faster service than the old one it replaced. And I would love to say that this new (by 30ft)Taco Bell location strived for a new service standard along with their new building. However, like its predecessor, this Taco Bell is less than satisfactory. Spending 30 minutes in the drive-thru with only 4 cars ahead of me and a nearly empty parking lot isn't acceptable for a "fast food" restaurant. By the time I got my food and drove less than a mile to my house, my food was cold. At first I thought maybe they were short-staffed. This was not the case. Also, there were employees standing outside talking to friends, all the while, people are waiting 10 times longer than they should ever have to wait for fast food. Very disappointed. I visit here embarrassingly too often. The employees are always quick and nice. Usually younger employees too- I'm assuming students. The food is never cold. Not much to complain about.
