Place my order through the app. Go to the store and lobby is closed for training with no one training. Called in and asked if I could get my food or have someone just bring it to the door so it's not cold. Spoke with a female who then apologized and said no they couldn't bring it to the door due to understaffing agreed to that super polite and then she completely changed to being crappy in the phone claiming I needed to go through drive through it should only be 6 mins..... almost 30 mins sitting in drive thru get to the window. And dealt with Vanessa who refused to give me her name and acted shittty through the drive thru not wanting to listen at all. Claimed her GM was standing right there and told me he could talk. Get home in my lunch from work with cold food. Due to it probably just sitting in the counter like I told them before. Called into the taco bell to actually speak with the GM who claims his name is "Mike Johnson" just a tip might not believe that's your real name when you have to stop and think about it... claimed he was going to look at the cameras for mine and Vanessa's fun interaction. Worst part I was super polite even tho I knew my food would be luke warm at best. I get understaffing can cause delays and problems but still no excuse to be shitty to people. Super surprised the doors haven't just been closed at this place. I have gone there on other occasions and employees just sit in their car smoking weed and then scamper to get back in the door. Newton Taco Bell needs to get its act together! Ordered via DoorDash; no sauces were in the bag! I had to go back for sauces and asked for the order to be remade, as it would be soggy and cold by the time I got home. They absolutely refused but offered to give me the sauces they forgot in the first place! I asked them why I needed to eat cold, soggy nachos when they were the ones who messed up the order in the first place! Needless to say, I left the food with them and contacted DoorDash for a refund! Every time I try to go to this Taco Bell in the evening, they are always closed hours early because of "short staff". They seem to always have a staffing problem and this has been going on for almost a year. Not very good customer service skills either. read more

It's really touch and go on whether or not you will get your food made right. It's still taco bell but it's mediocre. Half the the time the food isn't right. Not grilled. More rice than meat. Compared to other taco bells in the area, newtons is very low. read more

We were in a hurry for some quick "Mexican" food. It's fast food, so there is no need to rate any authentic disappointed stuff. The kids wrapped our order in record time. They had gloves on. Good thing, or I would have called them out on it. We went in between lunch and dinner. No overhead music, no hubbub. The staff quietly cleaned up post lunch messes whole we gobbled our goods. I appreciate that. There were no hijinks behind the counter. I've had such at other locations. Good for these kids. They behaved professionally during the lull. read more

The young woman working the drive-through had the best smile and service I think I have ever seen in a drive-through worker! Her smile is just infectious :-) Overall, the food here is pretty standard for a Taco Bell. read more

Not only was this the absolute worst drive through experience I have ever had, but to top it off they messed up my order. Immediately upon driving up to the speaker I was met with a very unwelcoming and rude tone by the man taking the order. The man at the window wasn't as rude, but showed no customer service skills. They were unable to fulfill our order correctly. The drive thru keep repeating the order in full every time we made an addition to the order and the cars kept pulling up behind us. An order that should have taken 5 minutes max ended up taking over 20 minutes. I understand the individual was "NEW" in drive thru. Taco Tico wanted us to go through drive thru again for another 20 minute wait to correct order. This is the worst experience I've ever had with Taco Tico. Every other restaurant has customers sitting inside at the tables. Open your doors to the people to let customers come in and order. read more

The food is very good. But the service is extremely slow in the drive through . Taco Bell claims to be fast food, but they are not very fast. If they dont want to loose business and continue getting bad reviews, they should consider hiring more trained Associates. Customers should not have to wait , 10-18 minutes in line for their food. Food is fine, place is clean,(with the exception of the bathroom, which isn't awful, but lets be real, it is a taco bell, so really it should be common sense not to go to the bathroom there- UGH) While the drive thru is always a little slow and I have had one or two mistakes on our food before, but they were always handled by management promptly and in a courteous and apologetic manner) I know people were upset and put a bunch of negative reviews a while back when an employee was rude to a cop (see photos above) but the matter was addressed publicly and swiftly, and i don't think it really reflects on the place as a whole or the management,so i do not see how it is really relevant to yelp.This is a good Taco Bell, it wouldnt measure up to a nice place, but for a taco bell its solid. The new GM is so nice! She is definitely making improvements, and it's amazing. I'd say give Taco Bell a chance. Change doesn't happen over time. And they're not always bad. Have been there several times when in town. For the most part food is ok. But the drinks are flat! No carbonation. Manager wouldn't taste it. Checked the machine, said it was fine. Frustrating. Not helpful customer service. Too bad there's not another Taco Bell nearby. read more

I am a former worker at Taco Bell I was just fired today I recently started working back in November and I started to like it that was until the incompetent employees started being absolutely rude and disrespectful to me One of the employees by the name of Hunter likes to pick on me slap my food out of my hand likes to hit me and likes to grab me by the neck and rub my head really hard with a glove on his hand to see if I have a brain I am an autistic person I have a learning disability and I can't learn things all too well the employees expect me to learn 10 things at once I can only do certain things and today they expected me to do something that I had no proper training or training on somewhere in the handbook it says that an employee shall not perform a task that they have not been trained or trained to do and all the employees laughed at me when I couldn't wrap a taco correctly I would not recommend anyone to eat here at all! read more

I remember when they used to be good but that was like 4 years ago... also their fountain drinks taste like they never clean the machine!
