Just outside the restroom is a hallway leading to the showers, I didn't go back that far. Back out on the store floor, my Ross had already picked out lunch. He chose a ham and cheese half sub, he said it was good but would've been better with mayo. I quickly got a banana nut muffin, then we went to check out. The cashier asked if we had a rewards card, we told her we didn't. She said to put in our card, and the machine wasn't doing anything. My husband told her and she asked again if we had a rewards card, no, we don't. She pushed some buttons on the register and then it worked. We were the only ones checking out at the time, but something must've had her attention behind us..maybe what she was going to order for lunch, I don't know. She also wasn't wearing gloves, though she didn't touch our items, she still has to handle money and give change back.
