DON'T GET STOLEN FROM LIKE I DID!!! So I went to this Taco Bell drive through in Nipomo tonight after driving over 2 hours. Give them my card, get my food and leave. Next thing I know, I get an email saying my card was scanned on a square card reader at the exact (I mean exactly to the minute) same time as my card was scanned at the Taco Bell. I go back and ask to talk to a manager and she says that's odd. Takes my name and phone #. Then about 10 minutes later I get a call from a random # +1 (805) 305-6994 ask if I was me and then hung up on. So I call the # back and am hung up on again. Then a call from a male saying they are the manager and they aren't at that location but they reviewed the tapes and that it's impossible that what I said happened. I check caller ID and funny thing, the call was from the same Taco Bell. I call back and ask to talk to the manager and it's a girl again. Then she says I'm trying to scam them and that she would call the cops. I say go ahead I'll meet them there. She never did so I called them and made a report. Had to cancel my cc. I would be careful the next time I decide to pay with card at this Taco Bell! So Saturday night my bf was in the area because he's a delivery and stopped to get me Taco Bell on the way back to Santa Maria. He looked at his account a couple hours later and noticed that a purchase of $10.75 was made through square up for something along the lines of swiper no swiping nipomo. Can't remember exactly what it was but pretty sure it's similar. So he saw that and was super confused because he only bought anything from Taco Bell while in Nipomo, he thought there wasn't much to do but the next day the amount he spent at Taco Bell got taken out which was $8.88 he decided to do more research and went on to the square up website and looked up his receipt and said his card was swiped in Nipomo with GPS coordinates coming from the same exact area as this Nipomo Taco Bell, the card was swiped at 8:22 pm on 2/16/19 through square up and so my bf looked at his Taco Bell recipient and what do ya know the time of purchase was 8:22pm. I then came on yelp to see if any fellow yelpers had this experience because I just couldn't believe it and thank god someone did I got in to contact with the person and the same amount of money was taken from him through square up as well with the name swiper no swiping! I know there has to be more people out there who have had this happen to them and when I called the store I specifically asked if they have ever had anyone with this same problem they told me no and I mentioned that someone posted on yelp explaining the same issue and how I had evidence of the card GPS pin pointing to being in the same exact area as Taco Bell and how the time of the card being swiped and making a purchase was the exact same times, the manager then told me to talk to a supervisor. I don't know what's going on in this store location but I can't believe that someone has the nerve to do this to people just so openly as if we are stupid!! I suggest that the managers or supervisors look at the cameras maybe?? I find it too suspicious that the person doing this hasn't been caught yet maybe because everyone there is in on it! My bf wrote a review of the situation as well but I'm adding on as I'm more of a frequent yelper. If this issue is not fixed I will make sure to update this post. read more

Lord the so call Manager or lead at this Taco bell is the worse 630pm July 8, 2019. They got two of our item incorrect then started arguing with people in our party about how they where correct. The cashier said keep the wrong item he would correct it and then after we gave it away the so Called manager wanted it back said if we didnt give it back we had to another taco. Then she ignored us when we said that was wrong. Also she would not give us her name or the district managers number. This seems to be the norm for this Taco Bell poor slow service. Also they where talking ill of my party as we left the place. Should be closed, burned to the ground and the earth salted so nothing else can grow there. read more

This place is AWFUL. It smells something like I imagine the floor of the bathroom in a public transit hub smells. The booths absolutely REEK of urine. I suspect this has something to do with the homeless population which seems to linger and loiter in the booths. But, hey, let's say your olfactory senses are not as sharp as they once were - well, do you still have your sight? If you do your eyes will be treated to spilled food (I hope) black blobs dripping from tables onto the floor or chair seats, spilled liquid from an unidentified source (please god), and bits of trash and (inexplicably) cloth. On my last visit I watched a young man emerge to "clean" the place and he wiped down ONE table leaving the adjoining table's pile of discarded food, wrappers, etc. piled high, he also ignored - there's no way you could have missed it, the giant puddle of hot sauce on the table counter and floor. Look, it's Taco Bell -- my bar was set pretty low to begin with but this was UNBELIEVABLE. It stinks, it's filthy, the food is stale....what the heck? Oh, and they don't reprimand the type of people that leave those messes either which creates a chaotic environment. I have to give credit when I have an AMAZING experience. We pulled into the drive thru and ordered #8. We decided to try our tacos supremes first. Imagine the joy I felt when my taco looked just like the picture on the menu. My first comment was "ok ok Taco Bell you have stepped up your game". Then I go in for the bite please note my crunchy taco shell was perfection with no chips or cracks. First bite was like an explosion in my mouth. The meat was seasoned just right and crunch of the lettuce could be heard a block away. Did my crunchy shell hold up?? IT SURE DID ladies and gentlemen!!! Next up was my mexican pizza! I quickly say if this pizza is PERFECT I am yelping this place. Well guess what?? Here we are! The pizza had sauce and cheese all the way to edge!! It looked perfect!!! Every time we go through the drive through it is painfully slow, it is a struggle for them to take our order, they get the order wrong or the quality of the food is bad. Before discovering Taco Bell here in beautiful Nipomo, I would have a hard time finding a Solution to pay for both my enema and a lunch item. Finally, I can kill two birds with one stone! A few bites of a cheesy gordita crunch and my occasional constipation is cleared out within seconds! These guys also keep my diet in check. If I so happen to order a bean and cheese burrito and a side of the small nachos of just chips and cheese, they somehow know I'm cheating on the diet and just leave out the chips but leave the cheese. I approached the drive-thru line and another car was coming in the opposite direction, so I let this car go ahead of me. The line was long and I was the last car in line. Hell out there in yelp! land. It had been awhile and the wife had another one of her "headaches," so I decided to give the ol' taco bell another try. Eek! Methinks this is garbage. Ordered the choco taco and an enchirita... There was a damn pubic hair in the chipotle sauce! I had to go back and ask the man manning the register for a refund... I go here quite a lot for a late dinner, but I hate going here because of the ridiculous amount of time it takes them to actually get your food. Id say each care takes about 3-5 minutes for them. Whereas one in Arroyo Grande on Grand Ave takes maybe 30 seconds per car. Aside from waiting for that, when I received my food yesterday I looked in the bag to check that everything was there to see that we were missing our nacho right when the cook came over to tell us. While he made that I checked the rest of the bag to discover the small nacho I got had sauce spilling out the side onto our other food. And my car. After receiving the nachos we drove home to discover my nachos were dry and not fresh at all. It seemed like they were sitting for a few hours. Really frustrating. So I don't go to this Taco Bell often because they're service is terrible, but every time I go to this Taco Bell I have somehow forgotten the last time I was here and how LONG they take to get you your food. It sucks that we don't have many quick bites in nipomo but taco bell anywhere else is streamlined, consistan and NEVER longer than a five minute wait in drive thru. My review is for the amazing service and quality food at this Taco Bell.. their is plenty of parking and a Drive Thru for convenience. This Taco Bell is always clean and the bathroom is always clean which says a lot about a business.. The cashier a Mexican girl named Maria has great customer service and was very friendly in making suggestions on what to order. The guys on the line were very fast and I liked that they were all quick when making the food.. The gentlermen that called my name (jose I think) was very nice when I asked for sides of sour cream and green sauce and then again going back to ask for more sour cream (what can I say I like sauces) most fast food employees are rude when you go back for extra things but Here at this Taco Bell they always take the time to make sure the customers are satisfied!!
