Additionally, one of the employees called 911 on us for tampering with his car which led to me and one other being trespassed despite camera footage actually showing my being completely uninvolved. From officers' original statement of the report, he straight up lied about what he saw, but its understandable to be paranoid. Finally, the order was missing a side, and we cannot have it replaced or refuded due to the aforementioned trespass issue. 4 stars for taste, 2 for order accuracy, 0 for service. An employee told a Bride still in her wedding dress to F*** off and to go k*ll herself when all the bride wanted to do was take a photo in their lobby which was supposed to still be open at that time (they were there 10:50, lobby closes at 11:00 on saturday nights). I have never had service as terrible as what I just had. I ordered 2 chicken cantina burrito meals. Both burritos were 90 percent empty, our chips and cheese were 75 percent empty and incredibly stale. I tried to call the store 5 times only to be hung up on, then busy tones. This is unbelievable, I never complain to restaurants about food because I worked in food service for a very long time, but I feel like I was literally robbed. I got less than half of what I paid for and what I received was Terrible. I want my money back, or a gift card or something, this is incredibly unacceptable and frankly insulting. This is not the first time that the North Branch location has given me bad food, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, everyone has bad days. I would rather drive the 50 minutes to the twin cities to get competent service before I will go back to this location. This restaurant shorted us 2 donuts, you are supposed to get 12 and we got 10. We also got shorted on our tacos. If I could give it 0 stars i would. I went there and they were out of beef, and nacho cheese. So we substituted all of our items for steak and two of the items just had no meat in general. The Doritos locos taco we received had ONLY shredded cheese on it and the shell was just a plain shell. We got two combos that didn't come with tacos, and the items we did receive were all made incorrectly beside a quesadilla and a cheesy roll up. The lady at the register tried to hand us our beverages which you could clearly see had no syrup and when I brought that up she just told me that they don't have time to change it out. I went through the drive thru on 4-1-2023 and I ordered a medium Baja blast no ice, 2 Cinnabon delights and a crunch wrap and when I got my food they gave me everything I asked for but instead of the Cinnabon delights I got 2 grilled steak burritos. To respond to a comment that a former worker named Jaden T (Lindsey) wrote. Her statements are totally inaccurate except for the last one regarding our speed. She was not discriminated against because of her sexual orientation or for being transgender. She was lazy and rude, did not do her job, and had a attitude with absolutely everyone. I know this first hand as I have worked at the restaurant for over 2 years now and had the "privlage" of working with this childish woman. She would sit on her phone the entire shift to the point where as she mentioned, her phone had to be confiscated. As Lindsey looks like the stereotype of a male (but respectfully identifies as female), sometimes we would accidently use he/his pronouns and then correct ourselves and follow that correction with an apology, but that wasn't good enough for her. She had tantrums and called us all transphobic and haters of the LGTBQ+ community. Having said that, during my years at taco bell, we have had many transgender, homosexual, and bisexual employees (including myself) and absolutely none of us had the same issue. We also all understood that with labor being very high and the seasons effecting hours, that everyone's hours would be cut. It was not just her it happened to, and that was explained to her but she didn't wanna hear it. Also naturally, more hours were given to those who actually showed up and were on time for their shifts unlike Lindsey, who never even called to give us a heads up or call in sick until after the shift started. David did not discriminate against anyone. He was a very understanding manager whos only flaw is he had no fast food experience prior to becoming the GM of the north branch taco bell. He never showed any discrimination based off of sexual orientation, religion, or gender like Lindsey stated he did. Everybody was treated fairly and respectfully. Amanda was also an amazing manager. She was just strict, when you were at work, she expected you to work. Simple as that. As for our service, I agree we are a little slow, but Lindsey has no place to tell us to step up our game when she was one of the reasons we were slow. The fact that you came on yelp and used peoples full names to try and take a indirect shot at them just because they didn't put up with your lack of effort and unnecessary attitude just shows how childish you are. You did not escape taco bell, we escaped you when you finally quit. I hope you like long reviews because here's my story as an ex-employee and how I was lucky to escape that Taco Hell. I want this to go on record: David A. Dibucci and Amanda Nordby are the two most evil and least understanding people I have ever worked with. Let's talk about David for a little bit. David A. Dibucci came to this Taco Bell to become a Restaurant General Manager, and he is perhaps one of the worst men I have ever met. There wasn't a single day when we forwent his dirty humor, favoritism toward my female coworkers, or his ongoing dissatisfaction with the work from all the male workers. He liked to use his religion, Christianity, as justification for why he didn't like us, especially me and one of my other coworkers, because we're transgender. He cut our hours for no reason at all and when confronted, stated he wouldn't be giving us hours, so I walked. I finally felt free of his grasp. Now let's talk about Amanda. Amanda Nordby is what they call an Area Coach and my Taco Bell happened to be under her jurisdiction. Amanda seems nice at first, but the more you work with her, the more you see who she really is: a Karen. She thinks she can mother everyone into doing what she says and it makes for an environment no one wants to work in. You don't threaten employees with taking their phone away to get them to work- you give them a task. As for everyone else working at the North Branch Taco Bell, I truly feel sorry for you. I suppose I should include a review on the service. Aside from bad work experiences, the service here is always slow and the food often comes out cold and I always make a small order. I am not a fan of the kiosk ordering only, when placing an order to be eaten inside. It is ridiculous that you can't talk to a human to place an order. PLEASE keep in mind... you CAN NOT pay with cash at a kiosk. I was told by the supervisor that they can only take orders through the Kiosk and that is with the store manager sitting down right behind me. So you are telling me that this Franchise is turning away cash customers. Any other Taco Bell I have been to has simply taken the order at their register and allowed me to hand them cash. Customer service is dead at this location. You can only order with a kiosk, the tables and floors are absolutely filthy because they don't have enough staff. Too few kitchen staff so simple order took over 10 minutes to get. Trying to ask a human at the counter for something was near impossible because they aren't trained for any customer interactions. My soft shell taco was not a supreme, I DID NOT get a loco taco even when I asked for one. I was not happy with my order. I will never go back to that taco bell again.
