my friend ordered food for the drive through, wasn't aware that the dippers didn't come with the chipotle sauce, she was there getting food for our coworkers. they refused to let her add on the sauce at the window, so she paid and came inside to order and pay for the sauce cup. They ignored her for 30 plus minutes before even taking her order for one sauce cup. as someone who works in the service industry the way she was treated for having a large order was absolutely atrocious and petty. our entire order is now going to be cold, a complete WAIST of money. horrible absolutely horrible customer service. read more

I just went to Taco Bell for lunch. I had a mobile order with a deluxe box meal, a chalupa, large nacho fry and the new freeze. Out of everything we got today, the drinks were the only good part. My chalupa supreme had a black curly hair in it, the chalupa shell itself must've been forgotten in the fryer because when I took a bite, the thing fucking disintegrated. The meat inside was barely even warm and we didn't even wait until we got home to eat. The fry's were soft, soggy and cold. Yet, somehow they have a line wrapped around but still serving cold food. The cashier was very friendly and their Covid policies were followed very well. However, my quesadilla was half full and I ended up throwing out a bunch of empty tortilla. I also tried the new chicken chipotle melt, which was pretty good, but it was about as big as a cheesy roll up and there wasn't much substance to it. This Taco Bell on Jolly road made us feel less than jolly, in fact we were very disappointed, worst Taco Bell and in fact worst fast food experience in our memory. Customer service, bad, we waited a long time to order when there were no other customers. We could hear the employees in the back area talking about strippers and "the difference between exotic and erotic dancers" and we saw them eating Arby's. Cleanliness, bad. The restaurant seemed dirty with food bits on the counters and floors. Food quality, bad, took forever to be ready and then was not warm and my rice was not fully cooked had hard crunchy rice grains and also tiny bones in the grilled chicken from the power bowl. Also they were out of the first couple items we tried to order. Wish we had seen these other reviews before we went in. Finally, the bathroom was stinky. read more

Slow as hell. Seriously. I've (for whatever crazy reason) eaten at dozens of Taco Bells, but this place is the slowest I've seen. Nobody seems to care that they're lazing around. The place is a mess, both dining and the kitchen that can be seen from the counter - again, nobody seems to care, and I'd recommend a health inspector give them a quick revisit. Every time I have gone to this Taco Bell location, they've messed up my order. Now, I admit, I am an idiot for going back after they messed it up the first time. And I admit I am an idiot for not checking my order before I left the drive-thru. However, it's not rocket science. Just give me my order as it appears on the screen and give me the order I paid for. It all started when i asked for extra guac... for some reason that made the kid taking my order annoyed as heck. When I got to the window I asked for a large water and he said he can't add anything at the window. (I've added things at the window here before) he didn't put ice in my pop out of spite and I'll just say I definitely got extra guac.... as soon as I got my stuff I pulled back around for the forbidden water and he told me they're closed for maintenance. I said I was just here and you wouldn't give me a water at the window. He said they're trying to fix the pop machines. Arrived at 7:30 am 8/31 nobody around sign say it opens at 7. Sat at drive thru window until 8:45 where we spotted an employee inside and one knocking on the door to get in. I moved out to the Okemos area 3 years ago and all 3 years of this place have sucked. the food takes forever, its made worse, its cold, hair in the food is VERY common. They gouge with their prices. Normal tacos cost 50 cents less at every other Taco Bell I've ever been to. They want $4 for two soft tacos. The manager Frank became rude and belligerent with me when I noticed a price discrepancy on their sign. He ran back to the sign looked at it then came back and got in my face, asking me to step out of my car. Unbelievable. I would never pay their exorbitant prices. I agree with the other reviews - my order is messed up every single time, so I try to avoid this Taco Bell at all costs. My worst experience, however, was when I bit into my quesadilla and instantly gagged. Seems some kind of cleaning product was slipped into my food, at least, that's what it tasted like.
