    Taco Bell email reply.

Ordered breakfast via app. Was told it was ready. Arrived , went to counter, and no one acknowledged me. Asked if anyone was working at the front, none of the 3 people I could see acknowledged me. After a few minutes, I left without my food. I've attached Taco Bell's reply. Apparently they aren't allowed to say, "We're sorry"

What in the world are these?

We ordered the new chicken nuggets to try them. What in the world are these? Disgusting!

A void This Location - Hostile Staff, EBT Refusal, and Unprofessional Conduct I regrettably visited this Taco Bell on May 20, 2025, at 9:35 PM PST, and experienced one of the worst fast-food interactions of my life. This location's staff demonstrated blatant disregard for federal EBT protocols, customer rights, and basic professionalism. Here's a breakdown of what happened: 1. EBT Payment Refusal & Ignored Protocols I attempted to pay using my EBT card, which this location claims to accept as part of California's Restaurant Meals Program (RMP). When the cashier, Jorge, stated their EBT machine was broken, I informed him about the mandatory manual voucher process required by USDA regulations (7 CFR § 274.6). Instead of complying, he ignored my request and repeated, "It's broken," refusing to contact a supervisor or attempt alternative methods. 2. Hostile Staff Escalation After 10+ minutes of being ignored, shift lead Elise stormed to the window, yelling, "Get out of the drive-thru or we'll call the police!" When I insisted on speaking to a manager, she falsely claimed none were available. Her aggressive tone and threats created a hostile environment, which I recorded (legal in California's public drive-thru spaces). Elise then wrongly accused me of violating her "rights" by recording, showcasing a clear misunderstanding of privacy laws. 3. Impact on Other Customers Three vehicles behind me abandoned their orders after witnessing this confrontation. The staff's unprofessionalism didn't just affect me--it cost Taco Bell $40+ in lost sales and deterred hungry customers. Pattern of Poor Service This isn't an isolated incident. Existing Yelp reviews (e.g., "Employees don't talk to you... completely ignored" and "Miscommunication and forgetful with people's orders") confirm systemic issues. The lack of training on EBT protocols and customer service is glaring. What You Should Do * EBT Users: Avoid this location. Visit the El Camino Real Taco Bell instead, which honors manual vouchers. * All Customers: Save yourself the stress. Staff here prioritize speed over accuracy or courtesy. Final Note to Management Your team needs urgent retraining on: * USDA manual voucher procedures for EBT outages * De-escalation tactics (CA Labor Code § 6401.7) * Public recording rights (CA Penal Code § 632) Until changes are made, I strongly advise others to steer clear.

Don't ask for anything extra at the window!

Poor customer service in drive through. They were more interested in getting to next order than giving me good service. I simply asked for green sauce. There is a charge at this location. I agreed - but was told they could not accommodate me because they had to get to the next car.

I pretty much go to this Taco Bell location whenever I crave nachos and a Mexican pizza. Conveniently located down the street about 2 mins drive. Staff has been really nice every time I go to this location and I have never had a bad experience. Food tasted just the same every time!

    Order

We had order through Uber and when we got our food it was missing a item so I contacted Uber as well as the restaurant but they said it was the Uber driver that took our food but the bag was still steal and it didn't look like it was messed with Ps this is the second time this has happened when ordering from this Taco Bell They should check twice before giving the order to the customer how had pay for their food

The workers try hard but they are super understaffed. Always a long wait to pick up mobile orders at the counter.

The tortillas were fresh and perfectly roasted--not too crispy, not too soft--just the right texture to complement the meat. The meat itself was juicy, flavorful, and honestly mouthwatering. Every bite was satisfying. And the red sauce... wow. Absolutely to die for. It tied everything together with bold, flavorful heat. The flavors overall were on point. They also offer a variety of aguas frescas--we tried the cantaloupe, and it was perfect. Not overly sweet or watered down, just really refreshing. The space itself is clean with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The overall aesthetic is nice too, making it a great spot to sit and enjoy your food. I'll definitely be back to try more.

Customers have the option to order inside if they want to enjoy a sit-down meal in a group-friendly dining area, or they can conveniently place a takeout order through the pickup window outside. Parking is somewhat limited, but it's manageable if you're willing to wait a moment for a space. For my first visit, I decided to keep it simple and ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito for pickup. I was told the order would take about 10 minutes from start to finish. To be safe, I arrived about five minutes later than the estimated pickup time in case they were busy. Unfortunately, after checking in, I still had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes before my food was finally ready. To the staff's credit, everyone was polite, courteous, and made sure customers were acknowledged. I never felt ignored, and they genuinely seemed to care about providing good customer service. The biggest issue was simply the wait time. When I arrived, there were only two people ahead of me waiting for pickup. By the time I finally received my order, there were nearly ten people lined up waiting for theirs. It was clear the kitchen was struggling to keep up with demand. Wanting to enjoy the burrito at its freshest, I started eating it immediately. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. The chorizo tasted overcooked and almost burnt, while the eggs were extremely limited--almost nonexistent. Honestly, it felt more like a chorizo and rice burrito than a traditional breakfast burrito. The bright spot was the fresh salsa, which added much-needed flavor and helped make the burrito more enjoyable. A breakfast burrito is one of the simplest menu items to prepare, and I intentionally chose it as a way to get a feel for the restaurant before trying more of the menu. Between the extended wait and the disappointing quality of my first order, it wasn't the introduction I was hoping for. I understand this is a very popular location with many positive reviews, and plenty of people clearly enjoy eating here. However, you only get one chance to make a first impression, and mine was disappointing. If I'm craving Mexican food and don't have many other options, I may give Tacos El Grullense #1 another opportunity in the future. But after this experience, there's no guarantee I'll be back anytime soon.

They specialize in **carnitas**, and they do them really well. My husband had been wanting to bring me here, so we stopped in for tacos. From the moment you walk in, you know it's a popular spot. Seating is very limited, people are waiting outside, and there's always a lot going on. The carnitas were fresh, tender, and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, and you can tell they focus on doing one thing exceptionally well. My husband ordered the super burrito, and I'll just say this... my husband usually wins every battle against a burrito. Not this time. **Burrito: 1. Husband: 0.** We'll definitely be back.
