I've been coming to Taco Bell for years and I love there food. I don't have anything negative to say about them except for the drive thru. It is very slow and sometimes traffic really backs up. Inside the restaurant is very clean. Highly trained staff who are fully aware of their food and what it contains. I'm very pleased on how professional they all are. They inform you when the wait is going to be a little long Most times I'm in and out within a few minutes. The food is always hot and delicious and not very often is the order wrong. This occurs maybe once in a great while, but the taco bell team is ready to fix your order for you. I would love to see more fast food restaurants to be like this. They played with my order after I was very clear about what tacos I wanted in my taco party pack. Then I went back in without a receipt bc they didn't give me one. We watched carefully and between every customer 2 workers went outside to smoke. We watched as these 2 went right back to work without washing hands. Rude manager forces customers to use the kiosk to order food instead of doing her job and taking orders at the counter. Add to that the fact that half of the kiosks were broken, and there was a long line of people slowly fumbling through the menu to place their orders. Late night with my girlfriend grabbing a bite to eat off the dollar menu. We don't eat fast food often but we decided to go get some things off the dollar menu. Everything went smoothly until we went to pay. The lady at the counter threw away one of the dollars we gave her and was extremely rude, offered no conversation after we received our food/drinks. I asked if they offered a military discount and she just ignored the question. A solid 3 stars. This location is crazy busy. Being next to campus of course you would think so, but also it was an off-peak hour and yet still a bunch of students and locals. Went inside because usually the wait is shorter than in the drive thru, but not so sure. Food is good though. It's TBell so not amazing, but solid. Beef mini quesadilla, Doritos Locos taco, and cheesy roll up. Best part is that it's so cheap. read more

After avoiding this taco bell for many months I decided to give it another try. Nothing has changed. Same problem as before-------lack of meat. There is nothing sadder than a "pre-fab" crunchy taco shell with only about 1 teaspoon of ground beef in it. A little lettuce and a little cheese. I come in to this Taco Bell (aka t-Bell) location with a couple of my TKE friends. Right away, the server was extremely slow and the chip reader wasn't functional, unacceptable. We waited approximately 6 minutes for our food, which isn't very fast. Live up to the fast food name. There also wasn't any napkins with our food, I guess this company doesn't care about the hygiene of its "valued" customers. I would recommend another Mexican restaurant if you wish to enjoy any tacos, burritos or crunch wraps. read more

With all due respect while I have been to Taco Bell many times and do appreciate everything they do try to get done right. The new platters than include french fries which they've never served fries before are quite small. What is the defining characteristic of a Taco Supreme? It's a taco with Sour Cream separating the lettuce from the meat. On bottom the sour cream is melting into the meat, and on top it is keeping the lettuce crisp and cold. Growing up poor in south Kansas City, food was often a luxury. Many times as a boy I would come in from a long afternoon of playing outside and say "I'm hungry! What's for dinner." The depressing answer was often "Popcorn! Grab a bowl!" So it should sink in that my love of Taco Bell runs deep when I tell you that for my special birthday treat each year I would ask to go to Taco Bell. Often only one parent would take me and they wouldn't eat. But what would I get? The dinosaur ancestor of the Taco Supreme, The Taco Bell Grande, a mammoth extra long Taco as big as two and a half regular tacos, and made special with the addition of tomatoes and SOUR CREAM. It was a very fond memory that despite the many troubles a nerdy white boy growing up in a rough, predominately African-American neighborhood faces, stands out in my memory to ease the pain. So now I'm pushing 40 years old and have spent more than a decade of my life working 60 to 100 hours each week to support my family. When you have three kids and a mother-in-law in your house, you tend to not do much for yourself.. I think you can guess what the exception to that rule has been for me.. eating at Taco Bell. I have had the misfortune of havinging my order of 3 Crunchy Taco Supremes and a Dr. Pepper be screwed up more often than not at the Rolla Taco Bell. It's an incredibly simple order. Surely when someone is hired at Taco Bell, they are trained to make Taco Supremes? You would think so, but apparently not at this Taco Bell. No, at this Taco Bell, I think they are getting kick-backs to skimp on the Sour Cream. Often there is one tiny dollup, less than a spoon-full, in the center of the taco. Sometimes they like to change it up and only include four strands of shredded cheese. Other times they manage to find one tiny square of green tomato to add in lieu of a full spread. At least once every four visits they forget the Sour Cream all together. Tonight I have had enough. I'm at work, nuking three-day old frozen pizza, and my lovely 12 year old daughter calls me. She's on her way home from gymnastics practice and has chosen Taco Bell for dinner. "Can we bring you something daddy?" With pride a tear wells up in my eye and through a smile I say "Yes baby, I would love 3 Taco Supremes and a Dr. Pepper." I wait while they eat their dinner and a bit later there's a knock at the door. My daughter hands me two bags and says "There's a churro in there too. Love you daddy!" Life is good! Until I sit down and discover that some bone-head has decided to put sour cream in separate containers beside the tacos with tomato on them?! WTH?! IT'S THE DEFINING CHARACTERISTIC OF A FRICKEN' TACO SUPREME!! THE SOUR CREAM GOES OOOONNNN THE FRICKEN' TACO, NOT ON THE SIDE!!!!! ..... You know what they call a Doctor who graduates at the bottom of his class? Doctor. Apparently the same is true of Taco Maker. They don't hire the valedictorian at Rolla Taco Bell.. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS TACO BELL!!! They screw up your order. Then when you call to complain they tell you they will make it right. I live out of town and I asked if there was a time limit on the replacement. I was told to just come in and there would be no problem. I went in 3 weeks later and was told they wouldn't replace it. They had a 2-week limit. They charged me for extra tomatoes I didn't get and charged outrageously for meat on Cheese rollups. I had no meat on any of them. We were traveling on Thanksgiving night around 6 PM. We pulled into the Taco Bell drive-through in Rolla to grab dinner on our way. The young man working the drive-through was fantastic. He was friendly, efficient and explained where everything was at in the bag. I was impressed that someone who had to work on Thanksgiving had such a pleasant attitude. I wish I knew his name! This Taco Bell is pathetic. Don't even think about getting trapped in the drive-thru on a lunch break. Making a run for the border requires masochistic tendencies. The last time we tried a few months ago, they gave us the completely wrong order, and it was cold! We were starving so tried to make due with what they gave us. It was nasty. When I called to complain, the manager gave me some excuse about the high turnover, blah, blah, blah. But it's the manager's job to make sure everything goes smoothly.
