This is the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. They didn't understand a basic Taco Bell standard order, gave me the wrong drink, forgot the second drink, and didn't acknowledge my Crunchwrap that they had previously confirmed at the order window. Never again. read more

My wife and I stopped at the Taco Bell on Robert Street in West Saint Paul this evening. My wife took a bite of her taco and immediately had a look as if she was choking. She raised her hand as if to say she wasn't choking but that something else was up. She then began the process of pulling something out of her mouth. It was this large white multi part wrapper thingy. How was it possible for the employee to not see it while transferring the ingredients into the hard taco shell? We went through the drive through without incident. We'd call the store if there was any chance of not becoming more upset and not losing even more faith in humanity. Now I begin the process of alerting the world to this horrendous restaurant. On a far less important note, my chicken cantina burrito was not a chicken cantina burrito. It was maybe a cheesy chicken burrito, or something. I do not like giving negative reviews. read more

Made their Drive Thru into an AI. Got my order wrong, and did not try to fix it after I stated it was wrong when it asked. Food was okay, taco shell was completely stuck to the wrapper, and they gave me onions when I didn't even mention onions. Will not be going back until they remove the AI. If you've fallen under their taco Spell, you're obviously not Taco Well. Speaking of a well, this taco throws itself in the trash, or it gets the hose again. As for me, I get the hos. Again. Located in a fancy new Plaza next to my tanning salon in West Saint Paul you will find this Taco Hell, which has honestly really crappy food but the service is nice so that is a plus. My Minneapolis friend and my travel companion both have a soft spot for soft shell tacos at Taco Bell which aren't really Mexican by the way. So we end up coming here on a regular basis and I'm not a fan whatsoever. Did I mention not being a fan. Great service here though - big time. read more

Get to pick up window and our order was given to wrong ppl. Wait for 5 minutes only to be told order given to another customer. Wait in parking lot for another 15 minutes for 5 tacos. Wife and I ordered 2 deluxe boxes online we both got all burritos for our items. Each was different. When we got our order, nothing was labeled, no boxes, we had no clue what was up until we opened each burrito. They couldn't even write on the wrapper, horrible service. I asked for many when I did it a second time they send 3/15 I asked for, when what I needed to satisfy my clients was about 45 sauce backers this location is full of assholes and I don't think there is any excuse for it. Today, 3/28/18, the morning employee arrived after open hours (6:30am) and turned away multiple customers due to a "technical issue that takes 30 minutes" to fix. Huh, sounds more like her tardiness caused the "technical issue." I hope higher up management sees this review and makes sure this does not happen again. Myself an others expected this Taco Bell to be open by 6:30am. Either adjust your hours, or hire punctual staff. read more

I remember it as though it were yesterday, the first time I saw the warm glow of her gracious magenta bell, though many nights have long since passed. A poetic rain was drizzling from the heavens as I made my way down Cesar Chavez atop my burro, Sanchez. I recall feeling wrought with inner turmoil as we lumbered past restaurant after Americanized restaurant. "El Burrito?" I must've thought aloud, for I felt Sanchez snort. "You're not fooling anyone with those piñatas and bright, vibrant primary colors, you corporate greedfucks. McBurrito is more like it." A heavy sigh fell from me then and my shoulders slumped; how could unwavering authenticity be so elusive? I felt Sanchez's little heart break underneath me, and the final threads of my resolve began to fray. Suddenly, as if from a dream, a giant billboard peeked around from behind some other bogus "Don Palsjajzna Mexican Bakery" and ignited a renewed passion in our loins. Everything from the curvature of the bell to its deep authentic magenta hue left me breathless. I knew in my heart then that this sweet bonita (because bonita is Spanish for 'beautiful', for those not in-the-know) siren, this... this "Taco Bell" was where I would find the resolution which I'd so ravenously sought. Sanchez kicked up his little hooves, let out a jovial bray, and began hobbling as quickly as his legs would allow in the direction of our Mexican siren. The journey was perilous, indeed, but a hunger as strong as a coastal tide coursed through our veins and urged us ever forward. Mid way, I had to reach in my poncho (a protective rain covering) and warm my bones with the last of the Tequiza (a spirit of the southern lands) in my flask. Once we arrived, we were greeted with a parking lot full of drunken twenty-somethings making mouth love to burritos in their parent's cars. I smiled. "Started from the bottom... and now we're here." Dusty from the trip, the now dirty Sanchez wriggled in delight. I knew immediately that he'd want to sample the most authentic items on the menu with me, so I opted for the Cheesy Gordita Crunch, the Mexican Pizza, a Nacho Cheese Chalupa and a Cheesy Potato Burrito. We feasted that night, friends, dirty Sanchez and I. We feasted like the wealthiest of kings there on the grassy knoll overlooking the King of the Burger. It was lunch and I made a run for that all too familiar border--pulled up in the drive thru and let my window down--one of the workers was outside taking care of clean up and made some nice idle chit chat with me--and wished me a good day--then I approached the speaker --the dude on the other end sure was happy to be working at the bell today---It just put me in a great mood. I went for lunch at this taco bell today, and im sorry i did. I love their cheesearitos(which they no longer advertise, but will still make) so i decided i wanted 2 of those. They are simple-cheese and taco sauce melted on a tortilla-no biggie. When i ordered this, the cashier said that they only have taco sauce in the packets. She said that they had pizza sauce instead. (Pizza sauce at a taco place????really???), So i said "ok"-with pizza sauce. Not only did i get charged for 2 chili chese burritos, she charged me an extra .40 for the "pizza sauce"!!!!!!! Not at all what i wanted!! I paid close to $5 bucks for this. I wont return ever again. So i been to this place at least 100 times in the past 10 years.. out of the 10 years i been food poisoned 4 times but i dont know what it is i just keep going back for more.. this taco bell seems to have great service and they know the difference between and taco and a taco supreme.. I have never had an issue with the orders getting mixed up or the wrong items. Guy argued about what the color of the jalapeño sauce was that's put in the cheese quesadilla with someone in my car. All other persons have understood no "green sauce" as no sauce, since with the process of elimination, there's only one sauce that comes with that menu item. Chicken tacos had a weird, almost citrus taste to them. I don't know if the sauce has been changed or not. This is definitely the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. There is always a line of 8-10 cars waiting to order at the drive-thru. It can be 3:00 pm on a Sunday, or 11:30 pm on a Tuesday... it doesn't matter. There will always be a wait. It doesn't get any better if you go inside to order. I did this yesterday after seeing the long drive-thru line. I ordered 2 soft taco supremes and a cheesy roll-up. After 20 minutes of standing around the counter with the other upset customers waiting for food, three of us asked for our money back and left. I'm not sure if they even have a manager, but nobody at this Taco Bell moves with any sense of urgency. If they are understaffed, it should be on the franchise owner to hire the appropriate number of employees to meet the demand. I've never experienced this as consistently as I do at this location. In the last month, I've driven by this Taco Bell 4 times with the intention of eating there (none of them during typical lunch or dinner times) only to keep driving to a different food option due to the slow and long drive-thru lines. This place needs to get it's act together because I will never go back, and I would bet there are other Taco Bell fans that feel the same way. read more

Now that I'm retired and golfing 6 days a week I am becoming addicted to the Bell's Scrambler Breakfast Burrito. Scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese, potatoes some kind of flavorful sauce,but not so much to drip down the front of my golf shirt as I'm cruising in the convertible on the way to the club. A nice break from the Castle's breakfast slider. Plus an added benefit seems to keep the ole gastrointestinal track well lubricated and everything is working smoothly and regularly. Service here can be slow....but it's always clean, fully stocked and the employees always chat with you and are very friendly. If their speed increases they will be even better. Also, never gotten the wrong food or was ever missing food. That's pretty impressive. read more
