It is a pretty decent price + portions if all you're looking for is cheap Mexican fast food.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Burrito Boyz instead. Since the bowl was a small, this could not be counted on to satisfy one's hunger, so luckily there were 2 tacos as well. You get to choose the no-charge extras for the taco, which included pico de Gallo, salsa, etc. This step reminded me of Chipotle, and other chains where they ask you about the options. Mexican places I've been to just load it up the way they like it and hand it over. The shrimp was very good, but with only a couple battered shrimp on board, lacked substantibility. The beef was better with a more normal amount of filling. Both were very good! With a 15% tip, my bill came to $18.18 which seemed pricey especially given that a drink was not included. With a drink the bill would be over $20. Fairly expensive for a lunch special and without a dining room, didn't add any advantage over a typical taco joint found anywhere else. Decent place and could do well on Queen West. Bathurst and Queen now has a Mexican place on 3 of the 4 corners! Actually, yay for that!!

You also select sauces and they note which ones are spicy. I went with a garlic mayo that worked well in my bowl. Their Mexican Fries are delicious. They're covered with diced tomato, green onion, sweet peppers, nacho cheese, sour cream, and jalapenos. We got 2 orders of this to share and asked for one without jalapenos. The serving size for this is huge! If you've ever had the fries supreme from Taco Bell, it's like 4 servings of this per box. We also each ordered a Jarritos which is a Mexican soda. They had some pretty exotic flavours listed like mango and guava which we ordered. Unfortunately these were not delivered - we got mandarin orange and strawberry as subs for those. My meal was good: I had a crispy chicken bowl, but there were a couple of minor bumps along the way. They offered black or brown beans but told me that they were both refried beans. I happened to pick black and they gave me brown refried instead. Oh well. The chicken were tiny chicken nuggets instead of cut up chicken strips: not bad, but not exactly what I was thinking of. I ordered a side beef empanada and it was better than what I expected. The outside was fried and not dried at all like the ones I get in the States, and the filling was moist (like stew) and not crumbly like ground beef). In all, not a bad place to go if you want cheap, semi-fresh and somewhat healthy options.
