a bunch of noodles in a plastic container

Loved it!! Had a naked burrito, everything was good except my noodle were hard. Otherwise I would've given them 5 stars.

We had come here on a Friday evening at around 6:15 pm for dinner. I had always wanted to try this…read moreplace, as I love Mexican food, and wanted to see how this place was. Upon entering this restaurant, we were kindly greeted by the server at the front. We were then brought to a table on the upper level near the window which was near the railing therefore, was a tad tight. The music was lively however, not too loud. As well, the décor was set just right for a Mexican restaurant, with many decorations relating to the Day Of The Dead, which is a Mexican holiday. For my meal, I had settled on the pork carnitas without any onion or cilantro, while my daughter had the french fries, and my mother had the beef picadillo. I found that the wraps for the pork carnitas weren't too fresh however, the pork was a good amount, and tasted well-prepared. I would have liked to have some sort of a sauce or topping to go with the pork carnitas however, I only had the side order of diced avocado which was given, along with some Mexican inspired rice. Overall, the food was good however, it wasn't as good as I would have hoped. The prices were a tad high for what we had gotten however, I do respect that this is a family-owned business, and prices are high at every restaurant these days. The service was definitely great, with the server coming to check in on us as we dined, and filling up our water jug from time-to-time. I may come back here to try another item, as the food is definitely authentic, and well-prepared.

The megabites breading was light (some might call it bland). I liked that it wasn't very greasy. The chicken tasted great with the spicy mayo dipping sauce. The fries and jalepeno bombers were good as well. My sis in law said the 4 piece was okay. Combos come with a biscuit. I love the glaze they put over the biscuit. It's ur average fried chicken place. Nothing out of the ordinary.

A few months ago, I bought another Groupon for Church's Chicken. I realized that the deal was about to expire, so I decided to go use it three days before its expiration date. This Church's location is about twenty minutes away from my workplace backroading it. It's conveniently located on Hurontario Street, just north of highway 407. I had no problem finding it. I parked at around 3 pm on a Saturday and went in. My Groupon was for six chicken tenders, two sides, two drinks, and two biscuits. I was greeted by a competent, friendly woman. She went to get a pen to jot down my Groupon number. She then let me know that my original chicken tenders would take three minutes. Nice! I ordered two orders of coleslaw as my sides. While I was waiting, I witnessed a young man lose his mind when another staff member was making a sundae for this man's friend. The staff member put a honey-butter biscuit in the butterscotch sundae. Wow! I enjoyed seeing this guy lose his mind. I could relate. I was doing the same inside. Sure enough, I got my goodies and went to chow down. The chicken tenders are amazing! They are hands-down my favourite tenders that I have had this year. The breading was light and crispy. It was almost like tempura, but with more substance. The tenders were juicy and matched their name -- totally tender. You pay extra for dipping sauces. I didn't get any and glad that I took the gamble. They were that juicy and perfect. The honey-butter biscuits are incredible! You taste the sweetness of both the brushed honey and butter on top. The biscuits taste like biscuits that what you make from scratch. They aren't salty, which I like. Same goes with the coleslaw. It tastes homemade. It's not overly creamy. You don't get a ton of sugar. The slaw is fresh and crunchy. I love it all. I ate most of my meal there. I took my second drink and coleslaw home. I've been to two out of the three Church's Chicken in the GTA. This one is my favourite so far. It's a relaxed environment in a plaza with plenty of parking. I'll definitely come back and give the spicy chicken tenders a try. (295)

I'm not trying to doll out 5 star reviews too easily, and I also had some skepticism with this…read moreplace in terms of perhaps having too broad a menu (being a taco and burger place). From walking in, they did a great job with the renos. Nice and open and a clean look. The patio area is nice too. There's a lot of wall art, and some of it mentions how everything is fresh - such as never-frozen meat, and even in-house prepared beans (rather than canned) for the tacos. I had the double hamburger, and it was definitely made from fresh meat and cooked on a nice hot flat top. Lots of a choice for ingredients and all was very fresh. My son had the pulled pork sandwich. Though it won't be competing among the best compared to some BBQ places, it was still very good - better than I expected and enjoyable even more since they placed the meat on the flat top, giving it nice caramelization and served hot. The lemonade was very good too. I'll next have to come in to try either their tacos or a burrito. My entire skepticism may finally be quelled at that point. Though I imagine it's more on the Tex-Mex side of things, given that they seem to be delivering on the quality and freshness of their ingredients, it should be pretty good. Excellent value. I'd rate the food a solid 4 stars, but the value is phenomenal here which brings up my rating. Crazy to think their burgers are cheaper than many fast food places. And everything seems reasonably priced. Oh, and presently open 24 hours which is amazing too.
