The food is better here sometimes than other Taco Bells. But it's hit and miss. I was over charged. Came back in to get a partial refund. Was told we can not refund you (for our error), because our drawer will not balance. Gosh really? Was I the first one ever overcharged? I think that teenagers just can't problem solve, add and subtract, or make change anymore. If the register can't tell them what to do, they can't figure it out. So I said OK, refund me for the entire sale. After I was refunded, I said: is there any reason why you can't ring me up now correctly for my order. They said no. And proceeded to re ring me up. Umm, how did this even happen? A taco HELL just got 5 stars. Let me tell you. We saw a long drive thru line and we figured we would just go in. *after a football game *Right before inside closed *teenage staff.... I expected the worst. To my surprise we had the best service and pretty good fast food. I wish I had gotten all the names. We were greeted immediately!!!! They were very kind to explain a couple of items as I don't know the menu. They were courteous enough to ask if all the meat would be subbed out for beans -yes! They asked a name for order - even verified spelling. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. We chose inside. The lobby/ seating area was spotless. The condiments were clean and full. We stopped by bathroom to wash our hands - again spotless. While we ate a large large large group came in right at close. The staff never said a word just smiled and went about their jobs. Do NOT eat here. When I drive up there were 13cars in the drive thru. I went inside, stood on the marks to keep my distance. There were 5people waiting on their order, one person at the register placing an order and a couple next in line. I waited close to 10 minutes then had a manager tell me only 7 people were allowed in the store. I asked who else had to leave and she repeated only 7 people were allowed. I left and went to burger king where I was served quickly. I am aware that the owned of taco bell Scottsboro can operate however they choose, they need to remember that I can spend my money where I choose, too. I choose not to visit that store again. Very disappointed! Went here tonight with my boyfriend and we were not happy with the food we received. My boyfriend got a number three (three supreme tocos) and received a number eight, just three plain tacos. The lady at the register have no idea what the difference between a number three and a number eight was. When he asked if he could get what he ordered we were informed that they were out of tomatoes. We decided to order a side of nachos and ended up waiting ten minutes just for that when they were not even that busy. As we are leaving we decided to order some cinnabon delights to-go for his family only to find out that they are also out of those. If being out of something was just a one time thing it would not be a big deal but this is very typical for this Taco Bell. I have to agree with Dean! It is the best Taco Bell, the store is always clean, the staff is very nice and the food is fresh, hot and very fast! The bathrooms (Every time I have been there) have been super clean. The last time I was in there, the cashier was cutting up telling jokes, it seemed like he really liked his job. I know it's just fast food but when you meet someone like that it makes your experience that much better. I have been to many Taco Bells, but this one stands out! Food is always, well it's always Taco Bell ya know. Depending on who you are that can go however you see fit. I love that shit, it's my go to when I'm late night gaming or whatever ya know. It's not exactly healthy but what can you expect from fast food. But the people here are super rude. Good luck getting anyone to the drive-thru intercom after 10 PM on any given day. The Google listing states that this location is open until 1 am with the exception of two days where the listing claims the location is open until 2 am. In my direct experiences, especially within the last 6 months, this has not happened. After driving back to the store, I took my Beef Baja Chalupa into the store and told the cashier that I had ordered my Chalupa with no lettuce on it lettuce, the cashier actually said "I Don't Think So!" ????? WTF! "I Don't Think So?" I don't know what I ordered? I flipped the incorrect order, they place in my carry out bag, into the trash can. I am going to contact management and get my money back! Do I even have to give a star? All of my co workers and I use to eat there every night and Taco Bell was always awesome! For the past couple months it has just continued to go downhill on a fast slope! First it starts with being out of everything, which would OCCASIONALLY be understanding. Then it started with the order not being correct. I personally have a food allergy to sour cream. It got to where I could not eat half the food because they never bother to look at the screen for anything special about the order. We have started ordering food from places that care about the food they make and care about the customer that keeps them in business. Tonight we broke down and ordered the worst Taco Bell we have ever had. The order was completely wrong. We were missing half the food. The food we did get was extremely cold and thrown together. And they don't bother to answer the phone because they know all they are going to get is complaints. In my last several visits at this Taco Bell, service just hasn't been up to par. Over the last month or two, it seems as though they've hired all new staff and are having a hard time getting orders out promptly and accurately. In fact, the first time I noticed this was a night when I literally sat in the drive-thru for 50 minutes (20 mins to get to the speaker, 20 mins to get to the window, & another 10 mins to get my food while at the window). At today's visit, I decided to again utilize the drive-thru as I didn't want to get out. While at the speaker the lady was very friendly, although she acted as though she could not hear me so I had to repeat the very first item in my order. Then I ordered another item and she cut me off and asked if I'd like any drinks with my order. I was only halfway through with my To-Go order but I continued that I would like a Lemonade Freeze and a Mtn Dew. She again, cut me off and said hang on, so I held and the 2 drink items never came up on the ordering screen. She came back about 30-45 seconds later and said go ahead. I then had to repeat my 2 drink items to her again, in which her response was that the particular freeze I requested was out at the moment, so now I change it to a Starburst Freeze and it finally comes up on the screen. She asks if that's all and I ask if she got my Mtn Dew and she says no. So, at this point, I have ordered the same Mtn Dew 3 times and it's still not on the screen. I go ahead and order another food item and she asks once more if that's all...I say it is and all of my order finally appears on the screen correctly. This whole process took longer than anyone else in line ahead of me and I was already prepared to order before I got to the speaker. read more
