It's not that bad now compared to the last manager that worked here. I've tried the nacho fries box and the cravings deal box and it tasted pretty great and looked fantastic. Genuinely the slowest Taco Bell I've ever been to. They had like 8 workers on the clock, and took at least 30 minutes to get our orders. I think they were growing the ingredients in the back. And when they finally got our food they messed multiple of our orders up. read more

This place is horrible. I've never been there when there was anyone working there that was over 21. So as expected there is very little attention to quality, but a lot to playing and socializing. I went 3 days in a row while working on a house in that neighborhood. I ordered the same tacos and each day they were like entirely different items. The last time there was so little filling in the taco shells that it was ridiculous. Frankly I was afraid to complain because there's no telling what you would get then. Literally the shell was maybe 1/4 full. I have visited two other Taco Bells (Attalla and Tuscaloosa) since then and ordered the same meal truthfully JUST TO SEE?! I've never been to a Taco Bell that was worth writing a review for. It's just cheap fast food but this location in particular is the worst one I've been to, and I've been to at least 40 different locations from here to California. First off my order was a shredded chicken burrito and two $1 soft tacos. Problem A) like the previous reviewer there was no filling in these. In fact my soft tacos were filled more. It was like eating a chicken flavored tortilla. Problem B) my two soft tacos? They somehow tore the tortilla in half and had the audacity to still give me those destroyed tacos. And finally Problem C) All my food was covered in what tasted and looked like shredded mozzarella cheese. Not the fake yellow cheese from Taco Bell, shredded mozzarella that made my food taste awful. I'd call to complain but I doubt the management really cares. read more

I wish I could give this place less than a one rating! It is absolutely the worst KFC/Taco Bell anywhere around! I have never been to the place and got what I ordered. The last time we went, I ordered two grilled chicken plates, and the chicken was raw. I vowed then to never go back, and I haven't! I honestly don't know how they are still in business. read more

This is the worst taco bell in the surrounding Gadsden Area. Very slow service and very poor food quality. It takes about 10 min to complete your order at the speaker because they ask 1,000 questions most of which you've already answered. Im assuming they think this is beneficial to their speed of service time. Speaking with several years of management experience the service time at the speaker is not as crucial as window time, because sometimes there are people who don't know what what they want to order and sit there for a couple minutes. In this case they play dumb, hold you at the speaker by making you repeat everything 1 & 2x as well as them repeating, all the while making your order So by the time you actually get to the window they pretty much just sling the food at you. My drinks are hardly ever full, usually filled with about 2in remaining in the cup to the top. My tacos and burritos are hardly ever, if ever, the correct portioned ingredients. And 1 out of 2 times your order will be missing an item. read more

Orders were mixed up and my order was given to another customer- honest mistake. But the other customer returned it to the counter where they tried to then serve it to me (the other customer had it at their table and had even opened the burrito). I told the young man I needed a new one because the other customer handled it. He apologized and went in the back to presumably get another one. He came back immediately with a "new" grilled stuft burrito that was wrapped in the exact same sloppy way as the one he was supposed to have disposed of. I verified that this was a new burrito and he said it was. When I opened it it looked as though it had been opened, so I asked the other customer to look at it- he verified that it was in fact the same burrito he had touched. When I took it to the counter again, he gave the same apology, but at least I saw him throw it away this time. Are we running such a tight ship that we have to serve different customers the same food and then lie to them to cover it up instead of just fix it? read more

We need a new taco bell in south side bad, this place is absolutely terrible and gross! I have been to many different taco bells from traveling, but this one takes the cake! Customer service is terrible, every time I have sat at the box to talk to someone felt like I was growing a beard waiting. The last time I went there and it will be the last, I got some plain bean burritos and something smelled really funny, and I got home and I don't know what was in them but it smelled like a cross between dog food and fish (it was throw up worthy), I threw it in the trash and wouldn't even give that to my dogs. We really need a stand alone taco bell in south side, a nice new one that's not connected with KFC... heck even put one in rainbow city.. read more

You could get better service and a correct order if you hired a group of monkyes to come in here and run the show. If you order something from Taco Bell DONT EVER EVER EVER try and order something from the KFC menu, this will cause the universe to implode, because quite simply you are not allowed to have chicken AND tacos together, it was never ment to be. Now if you order something from the KFC side and then order tacos...well they will forget your stuff, you will be missing something, ill bet they forget to put your biscuit in your meal, or the taco shell in your taco, but yes, they are idiots. I have given up on complaining, the manager (a different one next week) will call and say my name is in the book, then I go the following week and a new manager is there, no name, no book. I dont know why I go here, maybe because its cheaper than the zoo, maybe its because I like getting crappy service, and throwing a fit, while sitting in the floor crying about how i continue to come here because my wife likes biscuits with her tacos.
