First of all, the beef in the tacos tasted watered down and had no flavor, the crunchwrap that I ordered only had tomatoes and lettuce on it, the beefy 5 layer burrito only had a smidgen of sour cream and only had beans, no beed, no cheese. Don't get me started on how the burrito was wrapped, looked like someone's bad attempt at folding a diaper. We ordered the party pack of taco's at drive thru and after getting them we got ready to eat one and the smell as well as old tasting shells was bad we called back and was told they would replace them with fresh ones we waited in drive thru again received replacements started down road again and the same thing was there again which was highly disappointing since we were told this time things were fresh. Still delicious. But not at all what I ordered. Beefy Nacho Griller, I substituted beans for beef but then they put rice in it as well. The rice was good but that doesn't come in the item. Cool Ranch Cheesy gordita crunch, they didn't even make it cool ranch or put cool ranch on the ticket. The gordita was very thin and had a piece torn off from it. I ordered & paid for 11 items. Upon opening the bags at home, there were only 8. I called the manager, Heather, who told me to come back & they'd make it right. When I suggested SHE should do the traveling as it was her error, she said they weren't allowed to do that. So, let me see if I understood her correctly: it's okay for them to have made the mistake but not okay to make it right at their expense. Does that about cover it? For $3 it was hardly worth it to make the run for either the missing food or the refund. Heather told me she would give me the credit the next time I came in. New arrival from SoCal, so I enjoy a good Mexican meal once in a while. Why am I posting on Taco Bell? Well, I've had Taco Bell tacos and beef burritos as well. In my short (one month) time that I've been in The Villages, I've gone to two (higher rated) Mexican restaurants in the area. Both times I ordered dishes with beef. My observation so far is that the ground beef used in the restaurant dishes are no better than that used by Taco Bell, kinda sloppy joe-ish. If you crave any Mexican 'beef' entrees near The Villages, save your money and eat at Taco Bell. Of course if you want service and alcohol, then spend the extra at a restaurant. I did not mention the names of the restaurants because of my limited restaurant samples. Note that my rating for Taco Bell is only average, but at least their prices reflect their quality of food. read more

Worst customer experience I have been subjected to in a long time. Myself along with three friends enter this Taco Bell at 9:32:37 PM on Saturday September 4, 2016 and order a lot of food (cashier Jonathan). The cashier asks for here or take out. We say for here. The food comes about 7 minutes later and we sit down ready to enjoy our meal at this Taco Bell. We are not even half done when a woman comes over to us at 10:00pm and just like this, she says to us... "The Lobby is closed, you have to leave". Mind you, we were the only four people in there and we weren't even done with our food. We had to ask for boxes to take our food with us. Now I ask, why didn't the cashier advise us that we have only to 10:00pm. I have been in other establishments when the lobby closes and they just lock the front door so no new customers can come in and they allow you to enjoy your meal and leave when you are done. Besides that, the person who told us we had to leave did it in the most rudest of ways and needs some customer friendly training. Needless to say, I could be starving to death and I would never go back to that Taco Bell again due to the way Myself and my friends were treated. I drove tp taco bell and the building was locked up due to virus. I went to drive thru and no one answered the box though I stayed for a couple of minutes. Got out and read menu board as it is too far to see from car. Still no one answered to speaker and as I am hard of hearing and as there was a sign permanently attached to the speaker saying that if I was hard of hearing to pull up to the window and place my order there. A lady at the window said that I had not placed my order at the speaker I could not place an order at the window. I explained that the sign said to pull up to the window. She became very rude and again told me I could not order at the window, that it was against store policy, and that was it! She was very rude to me and in my opinion excessively rude and wrong. She told me to leave. I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager and there was no one else to talk to. I drove around and she cae on the speaker. I ordered sort of sloppily and wasn't exactly clear when I got up the counter (yes, I'm one of *those* people) but the cashier (Raven) helped me and was patient so that I got what I wanted.
