Just stopped here with two friends. First time ever at this tmarket. This place is the real thing. The market has exactly what you need to cook a great Mexican meal. But the best of all, the restaurant part will fill you up with pure and authentic food items. I have always wanted to try a soup and today was the day. I ordered the Menudo Sopa (soup) and was NOT disappointed. Very tasty and the meat was so so tender. It came along with 4 fresh tortillas and the chopped onions and chop cilantro. The others ordered tacos (2 chicken 2 beef). The server came out with two freshly made sauces. Both were very good and the one that was spicy... was spicy. And I love spicy items. Hole in the wall type place right on 301. Some of the best street tacos I've ever had. I tried the steak and the chicken, but my favorite was the chicken. The steak was a tiny bit dry but the chicken was not at all - it's shredded in a red spicy sauce. They come with onions and cilantro and 2 types of sauces. I loved squeezing lime juice on mine and putting the salsa verde on top. The tacos come on corn tortillas that they fry to make them crispy. They have other options too, which looked delicious but I've only tried the tacos so far. It's also a small grocery store with lots of authentic products. Inside is small with a few tables. Hole in the wall type place that offers some great tacos at super affordable prices. I opted for the tacos and the asada and the carnitas tacos (that's steak and pork for those not familiar with Spanish or hip "taco talk") and both were excellent. The burrito looked pretty amazing and when business brings me back here, I might have to try that. I still might have to get a taco just because. Hey, this place would be really easy to pass. When I say hole in the wall, I mean hole in the wall. But it has always been my belief that the best tacos come from places like this. The service was good and friendly. All in all, this was a complete winner and a place that I would definitely give to thumbs up, a recommendation and ultimately five stars on this humble Yelp review. I know a place like this can be a little intimidating for a lot of people, but if you're willing to put on your big boy pants you'll be glad you did. Yes, I've been to better Latin Markets, but I'm not here to buy hot sauce, I'm here because on the roof it says TACQURIA, I'm here to eat tacos. REAL DEAL MEXICAN STREET FOOD, I'm so excited. And, guess what, it is the real deal. I ordered that Taco's that one may or may not shake there head at. Beef La Lengua (Beef Tongue), Pork Tripe Pastor, and shredded Chicken Adobe. Wow wee all killer, all great. Yes real deal as I listen to an old stereo serenade me. What it's singing I do not know. We had steak, al pastor and chicken. One was better than the next. Get at least 2. These are traditional tacos on corn tortilla. High on taste, low on atmosphere (basically a Mexican Convenience grocery store with a little seating), but the street tacos are wonderful. Had the steak, seasoned pork and seasoned chicken; you can't go wrong, but I liked the steak best. (Two is filling; three will really fill you up.) read more

Excellent Mexican food. My husband and I had a combo plate of two tacos, spicy chicken and steak, which were delicious, with beans and rice. The taco shells were so good. The rice was fluffy and the beans were the best. The owner was friendly and spoke to us at length about the different items on the menu.
