As a food delivery driver, I understand late night hunger with limited options. This Sunset location is no different with only drive thru as an option. Most nights, while slow at times, it seems like they are trying inside. Today, I was in the drive thru line for 47 minutes!!!! This is absolutely unacceptable for someone who doesn't get paid until my delivery is completed. The younger dark haired gentleman who is handing out the orders most weeknights is awesome. Extremely friendly and on top of it. The shorter blonde hair woman who works the assembly table, also excellent. She is a fairly recent transfer from the hwy 18 location. Keep both of these employees happy for the benefit of this store. While I can't always see who is working kitchen, a consistent issue I have noticed is a pretty large gentleman who is extremely slow. No sense of urgency, wandering around at times as time tick tick ticks away. Again, I waited 47 minutes this morning, Aug 28th just after midnight. As a driver, I lose 50 cents, on average, for every minute that I have to wait for employees to do their jobs.That means I lost apprx $23.50, give or take, on just this order alone. Absolutely unacceptable, even on your busiest nights. Who is going to pay me the money that this location has cost me multiple times????? Yeah, nobody. Exactly!! It's time changes are made. I wish there was a 0 stars option... this is the WORST Taco Bell I've ever been to and I'm sitting in your parking lot (& have been for the last 45 minutes). Placed an order through the app and there's a TON of people in the drive thru and about 20 people inside. The food is always good, but the customer service is HORRIBLE. We all know Taco Bell isn't a 5-star restaurant, but this one is the bottom of the barrel. I arrived at 10:15p and my order was taken immediately. I was 1 of only 2 cars in the drive thru at the time, but didn't get my food until 10:37. (Yes, 22 minutes for 3 regular tacos and a soda). Twice in the last 2 weeks I have ordered 6 soft taco Supremes at the drive thru and both times when I got back to my office the are just plain soft tacos. They have no problem charging me for them but it seems making them is just to hard of a task. Ordered 2 Taco Nacho fries boxes along with beef quesaritos and every taco, Gordita, and quesaritos had hardly any meat, no shredded cheese, an abundance of lettuce, and was more than drenched in the Gordita sauce. The fries were cold and disgusting. It was inedible!!! I get it...it's Taco Bell, what do I expect right? I shouldn't have gotten just spicy Gordita sauce as the filling in my food. Barely any beef, a sprinkle of rice, cold food...unacceptable! I called the store and spoke to Alberto (a manager) who offered to remake the entire meal at my next visit, then the phone just disconnected before he could get my info. I've driven through this Taco Bell a few times since moving here and the people at the drive thru are usually rude, and always act like you're really asking them for a huge favor when you ask for sauce at the window. I'm lucky if I get more than 2 sauce packets. Tonight I ordered delivery from this place from DoorDash and my order was completely wrong. Every single item was made incorrectly. It wasn't like I ordered anything really special either. I asked for no cheese on my stuff, and cheese was put on everything. I also asked for hard shell tacos, and they were all made with soft taco shells. When I called DoorDash and asked for the order to be redelivered, I found out that Taco Bell refused to remake the order. With all the fast food options in the area, just go somewhere else. The people who work here have sucky attitudes. There's one guy at the drive thru window who has always been pleasant, I wish I had caught his name because I'd give him a shout out. My family and I went to this Taco Bell yesterday cause we hadn't eaten Taco Bell in a while and this is the closest one. Before we even entered we were greeted by one of the employees. Chris rang up our order and was extremely helpful and even offered to make a cholupa like the bacon ranch cholupa they used to make. We had a problem with a couple of our burritos that were missing sour cream. When it was mentioned to Chris he had a couple remade for us without any questions. I don't know how it is from day to day but I do know that during my visit Chris was a very friendly person and was extremely helpful. Horrible experience. Went last night and waited in the drive through for our food for over 10 min with no one in front of us. We only ordered nachos and a taco. The person at the speaker and window seemed drunk or high. Couldn't understand him because his words were so slurred. We asked to speak to the manager, and said we don't want the food anymore, just our money back. After asking several times, he finally gave us our money back with no apology. Worst location ever... Really. Unfortunately, I love Taco Bell, and this is the one I'm stuck with. Rarely, do we come home with a correct order. After going through drive-thru, we routinely pull into the parking lot to check our order, before driving home... Been doing this for years, at this location. About 50% of the time, all the items are there, but usually just terribly/wrongly made. The other 50% of the time, we have to run back into the store to retrieve missing items. Tonight, we pulled into the drive-thru at 9:55pm. There were only 3 cars ahead of us, and about a half-full dining room. By the time we placed our order, it was 10:05pm. Pulled into the parking lot at 10:15pm, to go through the song and dance of sorting through the bag to see what was missing. Mind you, it's already been 20 minutes from pulling into the drive-thru to receiving food. As expected, hubby ran back inside to grab the taco and loaded griller that were missing. After another 12 minutes, he emerged from the restaurant with the missing items. Upon getting home, we had a grande nacho box, that had more nacho cheese between the paper liner and the box than there was actually ON the chips, and a mini quesadilla with beef instead of chicken. So like a lot of Taco Bell reviews... this really isn't about the food because it is standard. However, on this particular night the line for the drive-thru was unreal! It may have been the rapidly dropping temperatures, the cats and dogs raining from the sky... or maybe it is just because we were all lazy to get out of our cars, but the line was very long. I could see some of the staff inside pointing at the crazy line of cars. I recently visited this location and there was a significant wait. However when I got to the window they immediately apologized for the wait and provided a coupon for my next visit. The food I received was well done and overall it was a good experience because of the way it was handled. 3 out of 5 times I order food here, i ALWAYS HAVE TO COME BACK. Every time I go, it's either a hit or miss when it comes to customer service. I either get a friendly cashier that is smiley and actually happy to take my order, or I get a annoyed young kid who hates life and his job. I went last week and an african american employee who did not say a word to me at all thru drive thru. I pulled up to the window during my lunch break, he didnt even say hi, opened the window, took my money, gave me change, gave me my soda 1/2 full, gave me my food, and closed the window WITHOUT SAYING ONE WORD!!! biiiiiiiitccccchh, I was shook!!! The same concept applies when talking about the food. Either you get someone that actually cares about food QUALITY, and makes sure the food doesn't look like it was done by a blind person putting it together with their feet... or you get someone who barely grills the quesadillas, or someone that puts the sour cream in only 1 dallop at the end of the burrito. I always ask for my food to be well done and the sour cream spread, and its either hit or miss. There a manager who's sometimes there in the daytimes, taller dark hair caucasian male, very rude. I brought up the issue about the silent employee drive thru and my half full soda, and the food made wrong that same day, and the manager just acted like he didnt care. Another time My nachos were made wrong, the manager I talked to about it, was WHITNEY, i think that's her name... bigger caucasian female. This restaurant.... Excuse me, it's not even worth being called a restaurant. "This Building" is one of the most dirtiest, most oldest interior designed place ever. The cashier kept staring me whil I was eating. I couldn't finish my sloppy burrito because he was staring into my soul. When I walked out to the parking lot, he kept looking through the drive thru window. Finally I yelled "what are you lookin at!" And then he said "you didn't finish your burrito." We just got back from a big event and it was taco Tuesday so the family took us all out to Taco Bell. Typically when we go there, we walk inside and eat our food there, but this time we were taking it home so we took the drive thru. Never have I ever seen a drive thru lady who had no clue what she was doing. We had the simplest order ever: a 12 pack of crunchy beef tacos with no lettuce. We tried to make it as clear as possible that we didn't want lettuce, but of course, she didn't listen. I don't mind lettuce, but my brother does and he wasn't happy when we returned home with 12 beef tacos with lettuce. She couldn't even process that we wanted a 12 pack. "Okay so you want 4 beef tacos?" When we politely told her 12, she said "Sorry I was confused." She also cut our order short. We were trying to order an extra 2 dorito tacos (forget what they're called) and the lady ignored us and asked if we wanted drinks. We said no and she proceeded us to the next window, and guess what we didn't get in our final order. The line was so long and not moving at all. In fact, we sat there for a while and the drive thru lady did her normal greeting as if we were a new customer. Once we finally got to the window, the drive thru lady didn't look at all happy and she just gave us our food and we left. I like Taco Bell and they have good quality food. Their service inside is great and they don't screw up your order. Their indoor service gets 4 stars while their drive thru gets 2. The drive thru lady completely screwed up our experience. It might've just been a bad night for Taco Bell, but their drive thru service gave us a bad impression on their drive thru. read more

For the third time in a row, I got home to find items that I paid for not in the bag. I called and talked to the manager (Jamil) and explained that in a world where there were so many people trying to get something for nothing, I wasn't wanting more food or a refund. I asked him to keep a better eye on his employees to ensure orders go out properly. He said "that's not my job!" I told him, as a manager, it IS his responsibility to manage his employees, at which time he hung up the phone. I called back and asked the girl who answered for the General Manager's name and number. She repeated everything said out loud while I could hear Jamil next to her. After a few minutes, she reluctantly gave me the name and number. When I asked for the name of the manager I had just spoke to, she muffled the phone and waited a couple minutes before giving me the name. I then spoke to another manager (unfortunately I didn't get her name) who expressed her distaste for how I was treated over the phone and the overall experience. I appreciated her taking the time to acknowledge the problems I voiced and validating the warranted concerns I had for management. She offered my money back or a free meal the next time I go, but there's no chance that I'd ever give them another penny in fear that I'd be ripped off yet again.
