"Suizo" burrito... 6 shreds of mozzarella cheese on top, literally nothing but 3-4 beans and maybe an ounce of meat in the entire burrito

Unbelievable .. an absolute tragedy this place is even open.. ordered a total of 7 items between 2 people and NONE had any flavor, all were very obviously old and microwave reheated (how do carnitas and flank steak both arrive at a table literally Grey throughout and no color from the grill at all???) Salsa bottles are dirty and caked up inside.. "sope" is a tiny thing piece of I don't know what.. "gordita" was disgusting.. Piccadillo had literally 0 taste at all.. I mean come on, even the coffee was horrendous. It tasted like old iced tea heated up. To order all this food and have everything come in under 5 minutes made it all too obvious the only method of cooking here is microwaving pre made junk. The owners should be ashamed. I've never been this hard on a restaurant, but they earned it today. Absolutely disgusting

literally wtf! Okay I had high hopes for this restaurant. But when I received my food I was shocked. The NACHO cheese on my chimichanga was insane to me. I love chimichanga's and get them frequently at Mexican restaurants. I have never once gotten nacho cheese in mine, it was really off putting. I ended up cutting the tortilla in half to try and avoide eating the nacho cheese after the first bite of it, and realizing how gross it was! The torta was very smushed and sloppily put togther. The beans were unseasoned along with the rice :(. Pretty sad about it because I was in the mood for Mexican but definitely not anymore . Definitely gonna be sticking to my go to place from now on!

The lettuce was rotten...the bun had some weird meat slug on it, meat was not even cooked all the way. when I called to order the first guy gave up on taking the order and randomly passed the phone to another employee to reorder everything. I had been there one time today and the chubbier guy at the cashier has been extremely rude both times. I'm questioning whether I should have even eaten the shrimp.

I was not getting a good vibe from this place from the moment I walked in because all the employees walked past me several times and never acknowledged me and just left me standing there until I finally stopped some and asked if could I sit any where. I was the only non Mexican in the place so I had high hopes. The place is small and with booths and tables and chairs. There is a flat screen and art on the walls. It has wall paper that looks like bricks and wood half way up the walls. And like so many places in Wi the poker machines. There was no hot sauces on the table which I hate from a Mexican place. My chips and salsa came to the table with my menu. The menu had a lot of choices but no combo plates to get a better sampling of the menu. I noticed all the other table getting getting hot sauce brought to them but I'm invisible and none for me WTF hello I would like some hot sauce. My meal came to the table and still no hot sauce so I asked for some and I finally got some. The yellow bottle tasted horrible while the red was hot with plenty of seeds in it. The chips were thin and crisp and not seasoned. The salsa was semi chunky on the watery side with some heat with tomatoes, onion and cilantro. I ordered the steak burrito suizo meal that comes with a drink so I took home a Pepsi. The meal comes with rice and beans, see my pictures. The burrito suizo looked strange because all the other times I have had one there was sauce and cheese on top where this one only had cheese on top. None of the food is seasoned by the way. The beans had the texture of gravy, very runny and bland. The rice had great texture and was firm and separated well from the other pieces but bland also. The steak burrito had a nice amount of steak but it was gray looking and not seasoned so it was bland and not exciting at all. My service was not very good from start to finish and my server never came back after I got my meal to see if I needed anything. I finally had to grab a server and ask for the check so I could leave. I don't see the four star reviews because this place can't hang with the Milwaukee area four star places at all and I now have a better appreciation for Milwaukee's Mexican food scene.

Really good food, fast and friendly service, and it gives the vibes of a small taco shop. Overall, good restaurant.

Love this place, never go more than 2 weeks before we circle back and order again. It's fantastic!…read more The food is delicious. Period. They have the best Tripe tacos I've ever had. Followed by the Lengua tacos. WOW. Of course you have to try the Quesabirria Tacos w/consume. Dynamite! My wife always gets the chicken enchilada in salsa roja, my daughter a quesadilla (she boring). Jalisco has the BEST sides of rice and beans I've ever had in a Mexican establishment, great flavors and respect for the ingredients and cooking process so everything shines through. They have Elote too, not quite the traditional way but damn I can't stop eating it! I've tried almost the whole menu; the lomo en salsa de arbol, carne asada, chile rellenos, bistec à la mexicana, gorditas w/carnitas & chorizo. I could eat here everyday! It's a cute little place with great service. Recently I caught some World Cup action while we waited. Different beers and sodas (Modelo, Jarritos) are available, as well as fresh guacamole and pico de gallo. They make a spicy taco salsa that's the right amount of heat and flavor. Give the a try, you won't regret it! Never errored an order of mine either, very consistent - and affordable! Like wow!

Truly an exceptional establishment. Taco Jalisco has quickly become a local favorite of mine, and I…read morehave happily shared this spot with my family and friends. Firstly, the service is amazing. All the staff are so friendly and polite. You are free to sit wherever you would like upon arriving, and a waiter follows you shortly to your table to drop off chips and salsa and inquire about drinks. Soon after that, you are asked what you would like for your main course, a question which I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to be fulfilled. They are so so efficient here with zero sacrifice to the quality of their dishes. The guacamole is so creamy and delicious, and the steak and chicken tacos are personal favorites of mine. Everything is seasoned excellently. The inside is homey and quaint, and has cozy seating which is never too crowded. It is a comfortable space. If you have not yet tried Taco Jalisco, you truly are missing out!!

I have not been to this place in years. I went to Carroll so we used to come here quite frequently…read more I was surprised at hard parking was to find on a Thursday night. There has definitely been a lot of growth in the area. Thursdays feature two for one house margaritas. I love their horchata so I went with that and the combination platter. The combination platter comes with a pork taco, a steak tostada, and a cheese enchilada plus rice and beans. While everything was really good, the taco was amazing! Will for sure get three if those tacos next time. My sister's nachos were quite filling and she gave me the leftovers to take home. They reheated great in the oven. Our friend had the chicken tamales and enjoyed them. Between their dining room, the train car seating and patio, there is a spot for everyone.

I have to couch that I come from an area with heavy population from Latin American countries,…read moreincluding pockets of first-generation Mexicans, so my bar may be higher than Wisconsin in general for what is good Mexican food. So let's start with service. Greeted when I walked in, saw my friend and walked right over. Server visited frequently during the night to make sure we were well attended, provided a box for my friend's daughter. I saw a happy birthday celebration at another table. With that, we can call the ambiance festive. It's an old train station, but doesn't really carry that vibe. The main thing is that results in an unusual layout. Not a big deal. Parking, though, is a festival unto itself. I parked in the first lot I saw, a tiny, poorly maintained lot in the back of the place that really doesn't seem fit for the public. But they seem to allow it. There are other signed lots that seem too crowded, also poorly maintained and striped. There's the street, with parking full on both sides. Clearly people love this place enough to take up the whole block, but I don't think Estacion quite got the response. And now, the food. The menu reads like a diner - page after page, similar headings with different features. Took me a long time to figure out what I wanted and confirm that I'd seen everything. I went with Combinacion Azteca. * Stuffed poblano was very bland, both in cheese and spice level. * Pork tamal was okay but mostly tamal. * Steak was very flavorful but not "a steak", rather pieces of steak that were dumped on top of the other food. I cleared them off to the side so I could pair them with the rice and beans. Rice was good, beans were good, nothing outstanding there. So I'd say: 5 stars for service, 4 stars for ambiance, 3 stars for food, 2 stars for parking. Hey, it's what the kid wanted.

Just went there yesterday, 3/23/26, as it is one of my regular choices for good local Mexican food…read more I feel pretty certain they made some improvements to their food. First, the salsa and chips were improved. The salsa, both mild and medium, had a very fresh taste to them. I was impressed by the chunky medium salsa the most. Secondly, their accompanying chips were darker and thicker. They also had a distinct roasted corn flavor which went well with the salsa. Neither the salsa or the chips were drowned out by the other. The thicker chip stood up to the rigorous dipping I gave each one. Third, the refried beans they served with my chimichanga dinner were above the average pale looking serving. They were darker and nicely seasoned. I'd go back again just for them. I wish they served a little dish with these beans along with the salsa and chips. Fourth, only a one star demerit for their saggy bottom bench seats in my booth. Fifth, thank you for having hot water in the very clean Men's room for washing my hands.

Underwhelming. We…read morewere hopeful with some of the recent reviews, but this was just not a good visit. We walked in and a few tables were taken so we were hoping that was a good sign. There was music playing but a soccer match playing in the bar was plenty loud in the dining room and drown out the background music. The small house margarita starts at $8.50 and we both got one to see how they were. The size was larger than I thought it'd be at least. We also got a small basket of chips and a small cup of salsa. Not great but we still ate them because we were starving. We ordered tacos and they came out within about 5 minutes. The plates were cold, as well as the rice, and the beans were lukewarm. The tacos were hot at least. The barbacoa tacos ($16.99) were dry and didn't come with lime wedges, extra salsa, nothing. They were so dry that the single corn tortillas split pretty quickly. The pastor tacos ($16.49) weren't bad but no pineapple to be seen. The portions were okay but the food was not worth the price we paid. The weirdest part was when we got our check. None of the prices matched the menu and they also charged more for using a card. Don't appreciate the inaccurate prices and didn't see anything on the menu about being charged differently than what was posted. Our server seemed nice but it wasn't enough to make up for the weird space, lukewarm food, and overall disappointing experience. Will not go back.
