The dining room was empty except for us; drive-thru traffic was light, i.e. the staff was not under pressure. We observed one worker directly preparing food, then walking over to handle cash - no washing of hands, no changing of gloves. So I just ran to this Taco Bell to get a quick bite before my flight. I have a severe egg allergy, so when I ordered my cheesy Gordita crunch, I explicitly said "No ranch, because I have an egg allergy." I took 3 bites without checking, because I explicitly said no egg. Next thing you know, I'm going to anaphylactic shock on the freeway. Now I missed my flight, and had to give myself an epipen.
