Cowtown taco bomb and 2 cluckity-cluck tacos

Visited this truck at Truck Yard and I would 10/10 recommend. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was so amazing that we had to go back for a second round after finishing our original order just to try more. My husband tried the cowtown taco bomb as well as the brisket and chicken tacos. All were fantastic. I am not a huge taco person and I truly fell in love with the cluckity cluck chicken taco. Also tried the street corn which was, unsurprisingly, incredible as well. These guys do tacos right and the prices are unbeatable, especially compared to other food trucks. Well done and hope to be back!

a box of rice and a drink

Disappointed. My girlfriend and I wanted to try the taco bomb so we each ordered separately which is served on a bed of rice, so when it was handed to me in one box I said we ordered two and the gentleman explained they were both in the same box. Ok I said and opened the box to two taco bombs and barely what I would consider one serving of rice. Has rice become such an expensive food that it has to be rationed in a way that a business needs to do to survive our tough economic times. Not worth the $ 12.50

They were stuffed with tender meat and were not excessively greasy. They come with onion and cilantro and three different salsas. Kind of embarrassed to say I ate it all but I couldn't help it. The place has interesting murals and Mexican music and clay plates which made it feel more authentic. Service was friendly although they gave my plate to the person next to me, they went back and brought me my food fairly quickly. The horchata was also very good.

It's easily our favorite place for anything birria. From the birria pizza to the tacos, everything is incredible. The dipping consomé is seriously to die for, and the meat is cooked to absolute perfection. The service is great, and the Chicano art painted throughout the restaurant gives the whole place such a cool, authentic vibe. We always share the combo because you get a little bit of everything, and trust me, it will definitely fill you up. Seriously, get it. This is our number one taco spot in DFW, and after your first visit, it might be yours too.

This was a friends recommendation and I must say I'm happy that she chose this spot…read more I walked in and was greeted however I explained I was waiting for a friend so I took a seat on the couch and waited for my friend to arrive. The moment she walked in they were ready to seat us. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of our server however he was awesome! Knowledgeable, helped with making decisions, and friendly. We sat long after we were done eating catching up and not once did he rush us out the door, instead he kept coming by refilling our glasses. So in the process of catching up, I dropped the ball and didn't get the pictures i normally would get (I know, rookie mistake) however they have great lunch specials and great prices (my plate was $10 and came with beans, rice, a brisket taco, and a cheese enchilada with pico on the side). When we got seated they also brought chips and each of us our own salsa so I could double dip as much as I liked and put some on my food. Seriously, this was a great lunch and I even had enough to take home and munch on later. Will I go back? Definitely as I need to give the drinks and other dishes a try!!!
