The meat is tender & flavorful w/a side of really really good consommé (3 tacos). We added a side of rice and beans (worth the add). Comes with some of their red and green sauces that are spot on-- great flavor with a little kick. Seating enough for 11 people but also has a drive through. Both plates with sides of rice and beans (water) was $28. BTW they have good paper napkins-- not those stupid thin, size of a dollar bill where you have to use 42 napkins-- when food is this good you need a good napkin. read more

I'm always looking for authentic Mexican food in DFW and this place does not disappoint. Let me first start by saying what a wonderful family owned business this is. The owners and their kids are so nice and they always have a smile when greeting me at the drive thru. Now for the food... the quesabirria plate is a must have, it comes with 3 corn tortilla quesadillas (with meat) and the consume to dip them in. A+ You can't go wrong with the street tacos. I always go for the carne asada and Al Pastor. A+ My wife always get the shrimp tacos and loves them as well. As for the ambiance, if is in a Chevron corner store, big their area is clean and somewhat separated from the main convenience store. I always go drive thru anyway. The service was great; the lady there was very sweet and helpful. I ended up with an extra taco - which did me in for going back for the pork. They literally have it all; flavor, portion, accuracy in your order, efficient, fresh, low cost, especially for quality and quantity; and its a family owned establishment and everyone ive interacted with has been so sweet and kind and welcoming! I've been here four times now; so I've tried a variety of things from their menu at this point. I've stayed with street tacos; however I've tried several different ones; al pasto, Pollo, Carne asada and the barbacoa and all are well made with good quality and seasoned perfectly. All are fantastic; but my favorites are the Pollo, Carne asada and barbacoa. Lots of flavor, Carne asada had that nice slight charred crisp to it while still being tender and flavorful, Pollo is all tender, juicy, seasoned white meat chicken; no fat or gristle, and barbacoa is melt in your mouth brisket. They also come with grilled onions and sliced radishes along with cilantro, onions, and lime. I love when Taquerias go that extra mile with the grilled onions and veggies!! It goes a long way with me and really sets them apart. Now--next thing I have to mention are the rice and beans. Usually this is a side dish that probably, like myself; a lot of people can take it or leave it. Don't leave it. Lol. Their rice is simple but it's awesome and I usually used to get dbl rice no beans--- NOT HERE! LISTEN--YOU WANT THOSE BEANS. I don't even like beans really--but they do something magical with theirs and it's def a standout item. The tacos are phenomenal; but the rice and beans here are not side dishes; they stand up to those tacos so you have to have both. And its only like 2 dollars extra so trust me; you want those rice and beans with those tacos. And just when it can't get any better; guys--their salsas. Homemade, perfect, good heat great flavor. I get the tomatillo, salsa Verde. And last night they gave me a lighter green salsa with it that looked like a crema based and it was damn good too I loved them both. Heat level was about the same; both were great. Can never have too many of those Tomatillo based green salsas!! They hit every mark here. Nothing negative to say I mean if I had to try to find an area that's lacking I'm coming up empty. Try them out; you'll be super happy. I'm so thrilled they're so close to my house and stay open til nine because if I'm not cooking; you can bet that this is where I'm headed. :) read more
