I found a toe nail or finger nail in my hand held Rio Grande burrito, not good an very gross!

Most any time I am in the area, I will stop by and have taquitos with either salsa or queso dip. Tasty is the only way I can describe them.

Sadly, I can only give this two stars maybe should be 2 1/2 stars been driving by it on my way to work and wanting to try. It decided to try it liked the name but the food not too much very small eating area that's not so nice mostly for drive-through. I had a ground beef taco, which was stuffed with meat and it wasn't greasy so That was nice also had a chill Rihanna burrito was deep-fried and can't say it was so great. It tasted like canned green chilies and a cheese sauce out of a can. I will give it one more chance to see if anything else is better. Hopefully I can get this place more stars. read more

Order anything you won't be disappointed. There's hardly ever a wait, if so its not too much. everything is always fresh and hot. The dining area is very clean and the service we received the last time we were there was absolutely amazing!! I am going to take a big guess...Emilene? She was the nicest, friendliest person. I have been going there for many many years and I have never had such awesome customer service. Great establishment!! 100% will recommend to a friend. The people were so nice and caring and made sure we were fed!!!!! It was exciting to eat there for the first time and be treated like the way we did. I never felt so loved before! We brought our dog along with us and he started barking like he always does. He was basically trying to kill them people inside by the way he was barking. And you know what they did... THEY GAVE MY DOG A TREAT AND CALLED HIM CUTE!! How fricking sweet is that. Tried it for the first time and thought it was good food. I had the carne asada plate. The meat was in very small pieces. I got a little too many fat chunks for my liking. Kinda lost my appetite. I loved the beans and the rice was good too. This plate comes with guacamole. My wife had the carne asada nachos which were delicious. Tried them before I lost my appetite. Their chips are really yummy. Try the nachos!! Seating is limited, so be prepared to take your food to go. In the same parking lot as Hobby Lobby, just to find it. Small storefront. I ordered Fish Tacos and fries and it's the best take on fish tacos I've had. I just spent hours in the ER with my daughter & needed to grab dinner for our family. I spent $60 & got home all the way across town to find that three of the main meals were missing. I called & was told to come back. I explained that I had a prescription to drop off for my daughter, as well as MY DINNER was going to be cold since I would have to drive back to get the other food. I spoke to a manager who had a VERY RUDE ATTITUDE and told me oh well, that I have a week to come back for my food. I keep trying to support LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS but when this kind of garbage happens & customer service is also BAD - thats when its a problem. I can spend $100 at Si Senor or Rudolfos and get our ENTIRE MEAL and KIND SERVICE as well. I do NOT APPRECIATE you stealing from me. At this point I paid for food I didnt receive and your employees could have cared less. It is NOT hard to be kind & when someone tells you they just spent hours at the hospital and need to get their childs medication, YOU LISTEN & REACT APPROPRIATELY and NOT with an attitude of who cares. Unacceptable on every level. I will be sharing with others as well. Also the food we did get was incredibly oily and nothing like it used to be. What an incredible waste of money that we could have given to another local business who would have ACTUALLY APPRECIATED IT. We will NOT be coming back. This is a HUGE lesson learned. read more

I've been eating at Taco Box for nearly 30 years. I've always known restaurants have off days. It seems like this past year the food has gone down hill. From stale taco shells to taco and Santa Fe chicken salads being mediocre and small for the price. I've lived here all my life and hope ole Taco Box comes back. I don't know what has happened to taco box....I used to LOVE the taquito's but the last two times I have eaten them....GROSS!!! I am so sad about this. Taco box is really good! The food has always been great and tasty, and the pricing reasonable. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because there's really no "wow" factor. It is good no doubt, but nothing amazing. I really like their hamburgers. They're so dang good. You can't go wrong with a double cheeseburger here with fries. The food is pretty greasy though, so keep that in mind if that will bother your stomach. A local favorite and good restaurant. Try them out! read more

Extremely over priced for the quality. I've been here on several occasions and I'm disappointed every time. The last straw was when they charged me 11.99 for "soft shell tacos" (which are 3 dollars more than the crunchy shell for some reason) and it turned out to be flour tortillas. When I want soft shell tacos I want fried corn tortillas!!! Taco box is an embarrassment to tacos. Smh read more

One of the few places in town that knows what carne adovada is. That right there makes me a fan automatically. I love their taco salad, the flautas are good, tacos are normal and the stuffed sopapilla is excellent. I cant attest to the enchiladas but I think the guac is normally average to good. I go here most often when I have a craving for a chimichanga. As an Iced tea snob I have to say that they brew a pretty good unsweet tea. read more
