When I arrived at Taco Bravo I was highly impressed with the atmosphere. That feeling quickly left due to the horrible lack of service. It was only three tables full and two people seated at the bar. Our waitress R. Taylor Was the worst waitress ever. It took her 10 mins to bring a bottle of beer. We were the first to order out of the three tables and last to get our food. Pretty sure she forgot to place our order. It appeared that her mind was in other places. There was a guy who was maybe a mgr who appeared to have nothing to do. He found gags made himself useful with making sure all tables had what was needed. As far as the good. Not impressed. Steak burrito had no flavor. If she would have checked in us we would have been able to get sour cream that may have added some flavor. I don't recommend this place. What a shame because it could have potential. read more

This is a pleasant place and was quite busy for a Wednesday at 6pm. Waiter was very good and pleasant and the food came out pretty quickly. The chips and salsa were decent. I ordered chicken tacos, without beans and rice I asked for a substitute and received a variety of cooked veggies. They were good but SOOOO salty. The chicken tacos were ok, slightly strange spice. Not filled very much. Also, no cheese or sour cream. My husband got one shrimp taco, which he enjoyed and two chicken. He didn't like the chicken ones too much. Uh Oh...so many places to grab tacos in northern Baltimore Co. Papi's, Mezcal, Banditos...Taco Bravo might have stealthily stolen the title of Best Taco...1st, not too small. You get 3 in a dinner order and rice and beans. Just enough so that you don't walk away hungry. Free chips and salsa when you sit down, I'm looking at you Banditos! The salsa was clean and fresh, heat about 6 out of 10, enough to slap you but not burn for more than a few sec. The Al Pastor was slightly crunchy and savory. Could have used a bigger piece of pineapple, but now I'm nitpicking. Lamb Barbacoa was also saucy and savory, totally sold on both. Will be exploring more from the menu next time. Service was fast and efficient, but we were there at lunch on a Sunday. Area is super clean and spacious...oh did I mention the margaritas? quite simply nailed it. Jalapeño was just hot enough, the mezcal one was subtle on the smoke, and the house was really good. Happy Hour looks great, will be hitting them back then. I ordered one fish taco southwest egg rolls and chicken quesadillas. The southern egg rolls was so good the fish taco was ok to much cabbage on it, the quesadilla was good but junk salsa should go with it along with the sour cream but it was tasty. read more

Giving the place a single Star is giving my rating more then this place really deserves. Took my family here on 04-13-2021. We ordered the taco family meal to go and 2 fish tacos and some drinks while we waited. The drinks were fine but our Waitress never came back to see if we wanted anything additional. I had the flag her down only for her to tell me "oh let me check on your order" which she should have done before she came back to our table to give us an update. Then after damn near an hour we finally get our food only to come home to bland tasteless chicken tacos, chewy, hard steak tacos and the fish tacos were horrible! Tasted like some cheap Gordon Fisherman pieces deep fried then thrown onto dry crumbly corn tortillas. This was a $73.00 meal that we threw out most of. Throwing onions, chives and cilantro onto meat doesn't make it authentic Mexican and this was an insult to Mexican cuisine!!! We will never EVER come here again. Food was good, but there are some things I can't get passed. Drinking a $19 margarita out of a plastic cup, automatic 18% gratuity added for a table of 3, but bill over $100 and a manager that doesn't know how to speak to her customers. Yes, it's Cinco de Mayo, but we were there for lunch, not happy hour or to just drink, nor did we eat outside. So to be told "we are only serving drinks out of plastic cups today" didn't sit well with me. We are eating lunch off of real plates & using real utensils, so why can't we drink out of glasses? There is no logic. I asked to speak to a manager. I told her I would love another margarita, but not in a plastic cup and could I have it in a glass. She proceeded to say to me, "it's our busiest day of the year and we are only using plastic cups." I told her I understood, however, we are at lunch, not happy hour, nor are we sitting outside and I would like a glass. She proceed to say to me, "but do you understand, it's our busiest day." I then asked if I am being told I can't have my margarita in a glass? And if so, that's ok, I will not order another drink. She then said, "I will make it in a glass, but need you to understand it's our busiest day of the year." I told her I did, multiple times before and for her to take that attitude and tone with me, did not sit well. Also forgot to mention they charged me a $1 for an extra tortilla for my fajitas. The fajitas were severed with 1 large tortilla cut in 4 small triangles, not nearly large enough for the fajitas so to be charged an extra $1 is insanity. The service was good. We were immediately greeted by friendly staff and were quickly attended to by our nice server once seated. The dishes looked a little dirty, but apparently those are marks left by the dishwasher. Still, it's not very comforting to see these foreign marks on your plates and cups. We found this spot a few months ago when we had A new urge to try something new. We sat at the bar so we didn't have an actual waitress but the bartender was very friendly and helpful with answering questions. There was only a couple of other people there when we were and so we were able to keep our space. They had happy hour drinks specials and food specials since during the quarantine I have not always seen that at a lot of places. We shared the steak nachos which were good our only complaint would be that we would have wanted a few more chips since there was a lot of toppings. We also shared the churros after overhearing another customer ordering them and they were amazing. Definitely a good spot fo a low key happy hour any day of the week! read more

THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF! My boyfriend and I each ordered a 'Chicken Taco Dinner' which consisted of three tacos, beans and rice. We also ordered cheros that ended up being seven dollars a piece... The taco dinners were $11 each, which consisted of extremely small portions of beans and rice, and the 3 chicken tacos were cold and very dry. The tortillas were also falling apart like tissue paper...we also happened to order a quesadilla that was oddly the same price as the churros, and was soaked in grease.. All in all, we spent almost $50 on a meal that should've have been $25 at most! Won't ever be coming back. Traditional street tacos run on average $1.50-2.50 at most depending on the meat.. Started off with Rubin our waiter and all was good.. until we received our food.. appetizer and food served at same time and then never saw our waiter again. Walked into this place expecting by the name alone a variety of tacos options. There was no official greeter/host at the entrance. Place was packed at 12:30pm on a weekend. Only three servers were working the front. We got greeted eventually by one of the servers behind the bar. The place has a cute setup of the bar area and open concept seating. The menu surprisingly was extremely limited. There are tacos but not a huge variety and only one kind of style. I didnt see any sides for rice and beans only fries. Fries??? I ordered the one chicken burrito which came with fries. So weird. Our food took a very long time to arrive. Our server was super nice but also super busy. We did eat up on the chips and salsa which were really good. I can't say I'll be back simply because the options are so limited. There's more alcohol choices than food choices. Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. My fiance and I sat at the bar, there was plenty of seating and staff was very friendly. We ordered the guacamole appetizer and while it was very good, the portion size was on the smaller size. We ordered the chicken burrito and the steak burrito. The chicken burrito had much more flavor then the steak burrito. It was missing something. Both burritos were served with fries that were just okay. Wasnt overly impressed by the food, but would come back to try a margarita and perhaps another entree. Decided to try taco bravo for the first time on a Sunday around 6:30 pm. The service was extremely slow even though it wasn't busy at all. It took over 15 mins to get asked what we wanted to drink. And about 35 mins to get asked what we wanted to order to eat in which that took about 30 mins to come. Ordered the mango margarita pitcher which was the best thing we had there (22$). The guac and chips were ok (9$). The tacos we ordered we deff the most flavorless tacos I ever ate. The fish (5.50)and shrimp (5.50)had no taste at all. The only taco that had some sort of seasoning were the chicken tacos (4)and they were charred. The tortilla wasn't good at all. We didn't even eat the shrimp Or fish tacos. We did order another margarita pitcher, the pomegranate, it was ok as well. We would not come back, I rather spend my money less where. read more

This place is great! Went for happy hour got cheap tacos (chicken was amazing), and cheap margaritas (also very good). We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and constantly moving/interacting. Smaller menu, but great concept because the food and drinks came quickly. While in there the dinner rushed happened and it went from empty to packed very quickly. During the dinner rush the employees didn't miss a beat. The owner/manager (not sure his title) jumped in to seat people, run food, pour drinks and even brought us our bill. This place is very well run. When we went to ask where our drinks were, our waiter said "Be patient, we have other things to do." Love love tacos. Especially on a Tuesday. New location for us to visit while in the area. The food was decent. Prefer the chicken tacos versus the steak (chewy) but I do prefer medium rare steak. The absolute annoying part was the bar staff. MICROMANAGERS. As soon as we arrived the bartender asked us to move over one seat so there wasn't an empty seat between us and the other patron so he could maximize bar space. Ok fine. BUT... he didn't ask the next couple to do the same?!?!? We order two more tacos, came out on the same plate. As soon as we picked them up, bartender ask can she take the plate away with the sauce on it!!!!! WHY!! Leave it there for goodness sake!! Bartender asked if I wanted another drink. Sure, brings the other drink but takes my previous drink before it was finished. He was several steps away before I could speak up. I don't know.
