We weren't the only ones -- at least seven other patrons were waiting and left disappointed as well. It was frustrating to see so many people looking forward to enjoying Enrique's, only to find it closed without notice. This kind of inconsistency feels like poor business practice, and it left us very let down. We truly hope Enrique's can improve communication with customers, because the food has always been worth the trip -- but experiences like this make it hard to recommend right now.

It's a safe menu, sure, but Ernies makes every meal fresh and made-to-order. This means that it takes a little longer (my Italian sausage with onions and peppers took probably 6-7 minutes), but being so fresh and at an extremely reasonable price of $4, it was well worth the wait - especially considering the guys behind the counter were personable and more than willing to chat with me while they were cooking, as it wasn't too busy. From out of town and need to get a fresh Smith's hot dog (aka the best hot dog on the planet)? Here's your chance.
