We tried taco love catering yesterday at our friend's pre-wedding celebration at their house. Their options were listed on the side of the truck. Can't answer how the price was for the overall catering (as we were guests) but the portion sizes were generous and hearty. Due to recent dietary restrictions I have to limit my carbs and sugar intake. I settled for a burrito bowl - pork adobada, salad, and veggies. The salad was super refreshing. Pork adobada was tasty, but would have tasted better as a taco if I could eat carbs! We had some out of towners, and they appreciated the size and said they liked the taste. Staff was friendly, took down orders, and called the names when the order was ready. They also served churros and ice cream. This is the absolute worst Mexican food I have had. They catered at an apartment complex twice and have been terrible both times. The best thing on their menu is the utensils and napkins that come with the meals. This place makes del taco and taco bell seem like standout restaurants. Their chips are blended day old stale and store bought. The rice was crunchy because it wasn't cooked all the way through. The beans were watery. The carne asada was an off cut of meat just salt and peppered. I thought their birria may be okay but it tasted like hard tap water that someone randomly sprinkled sea salt in right before wrapping it in a tortilla. I have been raised to not waste food but this food was already wasted before I started my meal. Please don't waste your time or money on this food truck. read more

These are some good tacos on wheels. I had two calabasita with rajas and corn tacos and a chicken adobada taco for lunch. I think they call it the taco sampler for about $9. Both tacos were good. The rajas tacos were my favorite because they offered the best levels off flavor and texture. The zucchini were mild but noticeable, and the rajas were stand outs indeed. The Poblano Peppers spoke for themselves in a good way. The grilled cheese underneath was excellent and avocado crema was perfect for this taco. It was a terrific veggie taco. The adobada taco was good. The chicken was tender but I did feel that the meat needed to exude that adobo flavor more than it did. This taco also came with the same avocado cream so that was good. We were desperate at this point and agreed for the tent. But come to find out, they sent a tent setup without a tent. I'm not kidding. The two kids that were there to set up apologized for not having a tent because the tent flew off at the beach and it broke! That was when we had to just say enough is enough! The toppings were delish, with some kind of creamy sauce that was amazing. And the salsa on the side was also fantastic. The charro beans - omg. I ate every bit and then drank the liquid up. Could've had just that and been blissfully satisfied. The black bean and pumpkin soup was also good, but it's the charro beans and the fish tacos I'll be craving tomorrow. Hooray for Taco Tuesdays! Got to try this with my husband the other day. We got a good variety of tacos, including the fish, pollo adabado, birria, soyrizo, and carnitas tacos. The favorites were the pollo adabado and carnitas, with the other tacos being quite good as well. We also got rice on the side, also solid, and beans. The beans were a bit soupy and underseasoned, somewhat being the lowpoint of the meal, but not a big deal since it's an add on. The salsa was also fine, though again, a bit more on the liquid side. At the end of the day, Taco Love is a good taco truck with flavorful tacos. We'd definitely pick up some more next time. read more
