We were missing a few items from the order, but after a quick phone call they were delivered promptly, which we appreciated. The only major issue was with the churros. Instead of being coated in cinnamon sugar, they had salt on them, making them completely inedible. The restaurant asked us to send a photo, which we did, although I'm not sure how a photo would show whether it was salt or sugar. Unfortunately, we had to throw all of the churros away. What was most disappointing was that we were never refunded for the churros, despite the mistake being on the restaurant's end. Mistakes happen, but I expected them to make it right. If you walk too fast, you won't see Taco Maya!! The entrance is tiny and the awnings are black!! The inside is well organized and VERY inviting!! There are 5 additional sauces for use. We ordered 4 tacos: the Signature, the filet mignon, the Korean, and the Birria. My wife and I shared all 4, and while all were yummy and flavorful, the Signature was the BEST ONE!! That day, there was only one dessert available, the Churro, but it had 6 small churros, all coated with chocolate and caramel syrup. This place is amazing! The restaurant is so clean and inviting, while the staff are kind and helpful. I was offered a giant bowl of chips and salsa while waiting for my food and there was also a salsa station with several other varietes of salsa to try. We've been going here for ages so I don't know why I haven't written a review. It's very tasty and fresh and an excellent value. We especially love the avocado salsa and the steak burritos. Because they make it to order, it can be a bit of a wait - even ordering in advance, but it is worth it if you're not in a rush. They now offer a lunch special of 3 tacos (they can be different) with rice and beans for $12. It's plenty of food!
