That day, there was only one dessert available, the Churro, but it had 6 small churros, all coated with chocolate and caramel syrup. I was offered a giant bowl of chips and salsa while waiting for my food and there was also a salsa station with several other varietes of salsa to try. I was really craving tacos with plenty of vegetarian options, and this place came up while I was searching, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant has mostly indoor seating with plenty of tables, so finding a spot wasn't an issue. I ordered the paneer taco and the samosa taco, which the staff told me is their most popular vegetarian option. They were super friendly and happy to give me recommendations. I also loved that they served complimentary warm chips and salsa, just like many Mexican restaurants do. Both tacos were really good, but the samosa taco was definitely my favorite. It was such a fun fusion idea and worked surprisingly well. The real highlight for me, though, was the salsa bar. They had such a great variety, from mild to seriously spicy. We were looking for somewhat quick food as we had to get back to our hotel, which was within walking distance. We wanted to go to the world famous pizza place nearby, but that was a 1 1/2 wait! The chimichanga was massive and super flavorful crispy on the outside and packed with juicy beef inside. The shrimp tacos were also great; the shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and added a nice crunch. But the carne asada tacos were definitely my favorite tender, well-seasoned meat with fresh cilantro and onions that made every bite amazing.
