The lady said to be patient because she had to make the thick tortilla (corn cake) and fry it. A complete meal. We ordered combos, and noticed one of the options for sauce was cheese. We're from southern CA where great Mexican food is on every corner. We've never seen this option to top enchiladas and burritos, so we gave the cheese sauce a try. We absolutely loved it! The queso blanco style was so good. The beans and rice here are excellent and generously portioned. El Azteca is a fantastic restaurant we were happy we tried.
