Taco Time - Mexican Near Me - North Ogden, Utah

I don't like to complain, but I have started to because people are not caring anymore. The food was fine, the gentleman who helped me was nice, but he had long hair down his back, and not in a hair net. His shirt had cat or dog hair all over it. And his nails had dirt under them. If he didn't care about his own hygiene that's fine, keep a shirt in your car with no hair, wear gloves, and a hairnet. I love Taco Time, but I won't be back. I gave one star because he was nice, just not hygienic. And I did have a long wait, and he threw in the crispy cinnamon sugar things which was super nice. read more

Rude night shift at the North Ogden Taco Time. They basically close up shop well before closing time which the sign says is 9pm. Night manager you could tell was feeling very inconvenienced. Had to put food back in prep area. Said we could only sit in one area. Turned off the sign and lights behind counter. Soda machine turned off early. Asked for ketchup packets but nobody behind counter. Angry L manager sweeping lobby leans broom against counter with gusto. Then angrily goes behind counter to grab ketchup for me. If you don't fire this angry L manager, you deserve to go out of business. Twice in the last couple months, same treatment. I won't know if you fix it because I'm not going back. I guess I will know if you don't fix it because you will go out of business. You can feel the hate when you enter the building. It took along time to get our food and it wasn't very hot. read more

I am very disappointed with this Taco Time. The drive-thru is ridiculously slow, and they mess up my order a lot. Well today was the last straw (so many times before I have thought about giving a bad review for this place). I ordered my food and I asked the person working drive-through to read the order back to me before I pulled up to the window. Everything I ordered was recited back to me correctly. My order did not end up arriving to me correctly however. The cinnamon Crustos I ordered were not in the bag with everything else. And speaking about the bag, all of my food was placed in one bag, making it heavy and bulky, and the bag ripped and food spilled all over the floor of my car. I ordered a mellow yellow, and it tasted like really watered-down Sprite. I wondered if they mistakenly gave me a Sprite instead of mellow yellow. Well when I took the lid off my cup to look at the drink, I could see that it was a little yellow like mellow yellow is supposed to be, however it looked really watered down and tasted watered down also. They either got my drink wrong, or they don't maintain their soda flavors very well. And speaking of fountain drinks, it is ridiculous that a large fountain drink cost $3, when one the same size at McDonald's only cost $1. Because of the issues that they had today and the slowness and innaccuracy they have often had in the past, I don't think I will be going to this Taco Time anymore. read more

Went through the drive thru today around 12:45. All I can say is that if it wasn't for Scottie B I wouldn't be so happy. He went above and beyond. The lack of help he had was a joke but Scottie made sure to have a smile on his face, my order was correct, and I drove away willing to come back. My experience could have easily been a bad one but because Scottie has pride in his job and takes it serious I will return. Thank you For your hard work and dedication. read more

Taco Time's food is mediocre at best. The only reason I would ever eat there is because it is relatively cheap. It gave me the worst food poisoning I've ever had in my life, and the pictures they show of their food are false, oversized, and inaccurate. if you want something cheap, go to McDonald's. read more

Was the only car in the drive through. Had to repeat order 3 times at drive through speaker to get cashier to repeat it back correctly. Order took way too long and was served totally COLD. got home to find out order was also wrong. I asked for green sauce and was given extra hot instead. This is my 3rd time visiting this location, all 3 times my order was messed up somehow. It's WAY too expensive for the fact that no one at this franchise cares about quality or customer service. The Littles employees in front of customers and frankly is just rude every single time I go into the store. I went into taco time yesterday and I ordered the bag and go and also a Medium cheddar fries. It took 5-10 minutes for me to get my order and then they put the Salsa Fresca on it when I asked not to have salsa Fresca on my Bag and go the guy on duty grab the food and yelled at the employees that were making the food. Then when he was making my food again he crushed all the Doritos chips. I have never had this happen before when I ordered it. Also I am not sure how the employees could work in this kind of environment. The store was like a sauna. I am never going to this location again. read more

I have to admit I love Taco Time, all of them, and this one is no exception. Best tater tots in America, period. I stick my straw in the tater tots and fill them with hit sauce. Crisp bean and Crisp meat burritos with a gallon of hot sauce are to die for. If I had any complaints it would be you never get enough hit sauce, and the regular normal tacos have to much meat in them, lol that sounds wierd but they are loaded! Did I mention hot sauce? One of the worst Taco Times in the Ogden area. When we walked in it looked like tables hadn't been cleaned for hours. The card machine was broken an the register had a big. "Cash Only" sign on it. The drink machine was partly out of order. We ordered a six pack of tacos, a refrito, and 2 drinks. The young lady behind the register looked at me as if I had 3 heads when I said "refrito" (refried beans, enchilada sauce, cheese). The tacos were smaller than the rest of the TT in the area, barely any meat/cheese/lettuce. My refrito came as a small scoop of cold beans with nothing on them. Kaysville and Clinton are the best TT in Northern Utah. Don't waste your time with this one or the one in South Ogden. read more

I am a fan. The Taco Time in North Ogden has good crisp bean burritos and other tasty "kinda" mexican food. Taco Time has been in North Ogden for a number of years. We will sometimes stop in here when in a pinch to find dinner. Be careful coming back out and onto Washington BLVD. It can be dangerous getting back onto that fast moving road. read more

I got the worst food poisoning here. It was the day before thanksgiving 2015. I ordered the crisp bean burrito and cheese quesadilla. I went through the drive through and they got my order wrong. The guy in the back cooking (fat either somoin or Hispanic. Not that it matters. Just describing him.) was laughing at me and was acting suspicious.i believe he did something to my food because he had to correct my order. Within 30 min. I was in the bathroom with diareah. 3 days later i was full blown sick with a high fever, nausea, and extreme direah. I ended up going to the ER. I could hardly move. I'm just glad i didn't share my food with my 2 year old like i usually do. It coulda been fatal. read more
