There normally isn't a line, and if there is, the service is pretty quick. All of the food is good and authentic. They do use more potatoes/fries than normal - but hey! It's Idaho! My favorite thing to get is the Carne Asada fries. Base layer of fries, slices of Carne Asada, sour cream, onions & tomatoes. It is a popular rexburg favorite. I love heat so I add hot sauce when I get home. I'll also throw in a Horchata and a few churros ($1 each). My biggest observations are; 1. The Carne Asada was a bit fatty this last time I went. My husband didn't think it was a problem, so maybe it was just me. 7/10 2. The Horchata was just watered down for my taste. Still tasted amazing! I give it 8/10. 3. CHURROS ARE PERFECT! 10/10 Overall, short a star- it wasn't perfect, but still a favorite, we will be going back soon.

We were here on a Monday during a busy lunch rush. Normally, I am understanding of this if the food and service were good, but this was not the case! The service was also awful. The woman working at the counter was so snarky. I asked how big the tacos were to determine if I needed order 2 or 3. She wasn't friendly at all! I get it, there was a line behind me, but I didn't need the attitude. The cherry on top was how the tacos took 20+ minutes to come out and they were cold and unseasoned. Unfortunately, the steak tacos were mid at best, and pretty pricey ($3+ per taco). Several tables had their orders missed or forgotten as well.

We waited about 20 minutes before receiving water, chips and salsa, we also ordered queso. After order was finally taken food came out for all family members except me. I reminded Evelyn that I ordered a protein bowl she went back to the kitchen to see what happened but didn't return to tell me until 20 minutes later. By now, my family has eaten most of their food and Evelyn tells me the paper fell behind something in the kitchen so my bowl was never made. I ask Why it wasn't made when she went back to find out because it's been 20 minutes since she went looking for it. She asks if I would still like it to be brought out, I say yes , bring it in a to go box because my family is now done eating. Fast forward 15 minutes, Evelyn comes over and asked if it's OK for her to just take my meal off the ticket. Thinking she's going to bring my food out and comp it but no, she means just eliminate like I never ordered! I ask, so I'm just not eating and she replies, "I can have to kitchen make it now if you'd like" - are you kidding me?!! Manager came over to say sorry. Not hey, let me comp some meals or let me hurry and make for you. Just, sorry. I was absolutely floored! We went out to eat at a restaurant, but after an hour and 45 minutes I never got to eat. It's so crazy it's laughable, I was angry and so hungry! This was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant in my 50 years on earth. I'm sure E.... Is a nice girl but it was a disaster! I'm still floored at what happened! We had to flag down someone else to refill chips. Had to flag down someone else to refill waters. I grew up in Logan, Utah, and loved going to café Sabor. This experience was unbelievable!! They say they care about service, however I texted to this number and never heard back. So, yelp it is!

Everything I've had here has been good, wife likes it and so have guests. 30 minute drive from my house but worth it to satisfy a Mexican food craving. Funky building, might have been a gas station at one time. Lunch time can be very busy with locals, students, business folks and construction workers, which tells you how liked this place is. Price is reasonable and proprietors are friendly. Order at counter and food is delivered to table, sort of bus your own plates afterwards.

Chips and Queso had an insane portion of chips, great job... The hatch chili salsa got added to the salad to finish off the flavor... It was good. The quesadilla that I had was very crisp and had so much flavor, even for myself who hates cilantro enjoyed combination of flavors within. My wife got the enchiladas and she really enjoyed these as well! The meat inside of them was very savory. The people running the food truck are the most respectful as well care very much about their customers. As we were sitting out side the truck eating one of the workers came out and gave us complimentary water bottles, which is awesome because of how hot it was while we were eating... it just left me saying their 5 star review just went higher. Lastly the true test of a places greatness is the customers, there was a constant flow of people coming to try it out. And talking to them everyone was just extremely impressed with how great it was... go check it out!
