The 3 Birra tacos with consommé I can't even describe how perfect this is in EVERY WAY. stuffed with meat, gooey stretchy cheese, the broth for dipping is rich and so beefy flavored...I'm going to drink it (for real). My man got the 3 shrimp taco platter and they loaded it with nice sized perfectly seasoned shrimp (platters come w yellow rice & refried beans). I never eat rice n beans because it's always bland. This rice was almost buttery and I scooped it up with my spoon right off his plate. It's a walk-up and order kind of place-but nice tables and fun music(which they graciously turned down for us, since it's early). First time here, went by a recommendation from Reddit! The ambiance is like a nightclub with the glowing light and everything but was cool. Service was very friendly, even the robot that brings your food to you. I got the Maximo burrito with Chorizo and it was really tasty, nice spice good flavor and plenty of it. We capped off my birthday evening trying out a new restaurant, Tacolandia, and if you have not been-- YOU MUST! 11/10 in Louisville. The staff are so sweet, the food is incredible (we got the maximo burritos which were HUGE, tacos, and strawberry horchata), the ambiance (music + fiberoptic lighting), and they have a cute little robot deliver your food! I ordered the Cubana torta, which was not only enormous but also steaming hot, accompanied by perfectly seasoned fries. My partner chose the El Maximo, filled with delectable pork al pastor--it was truly the largest burrito we've ever encountered! We ended up taking half of it home with us. After such a satisfying meal, a nap is definitely in order. Absolutely AH. MAY. ZING. It was innovative and delicious! Our daughter loved the window to the kitchen! The art work is vibrant and pleasing. The food was fast and the robot was so cute once again our daughter loved it until the end then she was freaked out by it a little lol, we got the Maximo burritos. I usually don't like guacamole it's always the same and feels premade. Not this it was delicious! The spicy potatoes maybe a bit much for my daughter and me but we know for next time! Dad loved the potatoes tho. We also got desserts and they were both delicious and well made as well the 4 leches cake was out of this world and the choco flan so rich. Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming taking the time to actually talk with people. Something so many people lack these days. ALSO we are on a road trip back home from Indiana to Kentucky and we went to the bathrooms to do butt changes and bathroom breaks and mamas let me tell you I've never had a better changing experience on the road. No public bathroom has been like this. A comfy sweet changing table that my little girl could actually lay back on without throwing a fit! Beautiful with a nice clean cushion for her to lay on and when I say clean I mean clean. It was all very well kept and smelled so nice. That 97 they had posted in the door wasn't for nothing. We sat there for 35 minutes watching people after us get there food as we sit there with nothing, a rable of four came about 10 minutes before we left sat down got their drinks we asked a waitress for an eta on our food and just excuses.... that 4 top got there food in 10 MINUTES!!!!! we still didnt get our food!!! got a refund and left everyone was just standing around in there anyway. My kids and I stopped while passing through town on a roadtrip and couldn't have been happier! The decor is so festive and fun- looks perfect for a date night or day trip like we did with kids. The food was delicious...We got the taco tower, carne asada fries and a burrito- everything was amazing. I also tried the pineapple fresca and had to go back for more. The menu is gigantic and nothing disappointed at all. For dessert we tried the flan, Oreo cheesecake and 4 leches which again- AMAZING!
