When a Mexican restaurant serves undercooked rice, you know they don't know what they're doing. Their rice was legitimately crunchy, their pork was more fat than anything, and their guacamole was nothing but avacado no onions tomatoes or anything. Place was empty when I came in and the staff were nice and very friendly. They explained the menu items to me and even suggested I have one of their margaritas. I decided on the street taco and the chavitaco. My friend dining with me had the chicken quesadilla and we had queso dip for our chips. The food came out quickly and everything looked great. The food was very flavorful and authentic. While eating the owner came out and talked to us. He was very friendly and talked to us about his love for cooking. I was craving birria tacos one day and we decided to stop by. Trevor ordered a burrito and it was pretty tasty and a decent portion size. I liked the quesa birria tacos (so cheesy!) and would come here to get them again, but I felt like the broth's flavor lacked depth. Also the margarita is strong!! I got the rainbow one (cherry, mango peach, and berry blue) and it was very tasty. It's a very convenient location and has pretty low prices, perfect for a college demographic and the food's not bad at all. I hope business picks up for this place! read more

Do not let the pictures fool you... The salsa tasted that the Herdez can one and the cheese dip tasted like the Tostitos dip. Once we got our food it was very bland and not very flavorful. Would not come again. read more

This is the best Mexican food here. First off the service is amazing whether that's dine in or takeout. THIS IS THE ONLY AUTHENTIC BIRRIA AROUND probably within a 100 mile radius. Everything on the menu is amazing. The Al pastor with pineapple grilled is to die for. This place is so underrated. It wasn't busy inside but there was a steady stream of people coming to sit in outdoor seating, so it seems popular - might be because of the drink special. It's a cute location but parking is a little tight. The food was really good! We had chips with salsa and queso which were awesome and tried the fries with queso which we also liked. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was delish. The food was hot and fresh and cooked well. I wish I would have taken pictures but we were starving and dove right in. They may have been short staffed as I only saw one server who was being assisted by a manager(/owner maybe?) but we received our food quickly after placing our order and she kept her cool while managing several tables. read more

They just opened and I've been looking for a good taco place in Tallahassee so I decided to get some tacos to go. I got the chicken street tacos and they were so flavorful and delicious. Extremely average food here at best. We got two burritos, one chicken, one steak. Both burritos have no toppings in them just rice, protein, and beans. To begin, my burrito wasn't even wrapped; I picked up the burrito and it all fell out of the casing and into the plate. As Mexican on college side of town goes, this place is a 10/10. The chips are hot, the salsa tastes fresh, and the portions are a good size. I got the steak bowl and it was amazing. The steak was fresh and well cooked and the rest of it was steaming hot. It comes with your choice of beans, pico, and your choice of rice.
