I am burrito and tacos guy, and would order from Baja Cali on Washington Bl since I only live a few blocks away. When Baja Cali first opened up, their food was delicious and I had no complaints, But in the last 1/2 year, their quality has gone down significantly IMO. The last four times that I ordered an asada burrito, I felt like I was eating a rice burrito, Before you could taste the beans and carne asada, and all the other ingredients, but now they are putting mostly rice inside of them. I stopped going to Baja Cali and have kept my eye open for another place to fill my burrito and taco urges.. I live in east Pasadena and visit my sister who lives in west Altadena almost every day. I have driven by the Tacos 210 truck so many times but never stopped to order food until last week. I ordered a carne asada burrito and two carne asada tacos on day one. The burrito was big and tasted very delicious. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients. There was plenty of asada and beans inside, along with the other ingredients. The tacos were delicious too. They are a good size and I really liked the fact that they put a lot of onions and cilantro inside of them. Most places just throw in a pinch. I liked that a lot. I ordered the red sauce when asked if I wanted red or green. The sauce was devious and hot, just like my Mexican mother use to make. God rest her soul. I went back the next day and ordered another asada burrito and it was delicious and big. This time I ordered the green sauce and it was delicious, but nowhere near as hot as the red. I took a day off and went back a third time in a week and ordered another asada burrito and two beef birria tacos. Burrito was big and delicious again. The tacos were delicious too. They gave me the onions and cilantro for the tacos on the side and when I unwrapped the tacos I understood why. The meat for the tacos is so juicy that they wrap the tacos up right aways in foil so the juices do not run out. I will now come to Tacos 210 for my burrito and tacos fix. The prices are good and staff is friendly. I will order something else the next time that I stop here. Hopefully the rest of their stuff will be just as delicious. I am glad that I finally stopped and ordered food, should have done it a long time ago. read more

How lucky we are in Altadena to have this Food Truck pick us!! Here on Fair Oaks and Ventura Tuesday through Sunday 5:30-11:00pm to 10:00pm on Sunday. My favorite is the Birria Combo. Finally got to try this place and loved it! The address listed isn't correct, it takes you to a lot with a pizza place. The truck is actually parked on Ventura just off of Fair Oaks, in front of the now closed Baja Ranch market. We got all manner of tacos, including the quesa Birria tacos, pastor and asada tacos, a mulita de pollo, brussel sprout taco and the kale, mushroom and potato one. Everything was delicious! Even washed it down with a refreshing pineapple mango agua fresca they had available. Delicious tacos, Fast, friendly service and super reasonable. Will definitely come again soon. read more

Hands down the best tacos I've had in a while. The tacos de papa reminded me of home and all the vegetarian options were on point. They're hella friendly and waiting for my order went by fast even with a long line. I came here twice within 24 hours just so I could get another taco de chayote and try the the tacos de papa (they had sold out the night before). Okay, I didn't know where I was actually getting tacos from because they're nearly the best I've ever had! I called beforehand to confirm they were open during Covid and they missed my call but called me back less than a minute later and confirmed they were open and serving and didn't even have a line at the time. I drove over quickly (it's right next to a Baja ranch) and put in an 18 taco order with rice and beans. The cost doesn't break the bank. They had it ready in about 5 minutes. The order came with grilled onions and perfectly grilled jalapeños which was unexpected. The picked onions and cucumber were great too and the taco meat (carne, pollo, pastor) were all equally delicious. The salsas are excellent and I don't like super spicy so the green sauces were okay. The red was pretty hot but amazing flavor!! The wrapping was solid, kept the food hot even an hour later when it finally got opened for indulgence, and we were left happy and full. I will be returning here for sure. I'd like to know if they do parties! I'd have shared a food picture but it was all gone before we knew it :) read more

Well I must say.... I have seen them on Ventura at here in Altadena and always was curious as to how good their tacos and food are. I wasn't able to try everything but my favorite meat chicharron and I must say THEY ARE THE BOMB!!!!!! spicy juicy deliciousness in a tortilla. Next time I must try the Quesotaco and their vegan menu looks worthy. Their champurrado on a cold night like tonight is worth buying for 2.50. Try them out if you haven't I highly recommend them. Update 1/31/2020 Since eating here last they have gotten busier it does take a bit longer to wait for the food but it is definitely worth the wait. Delicious! My favorite so far is the chicharrón! I was skeptical of this place at first- I mean it popped up out of nowhere up the street from my moms house. My cousin tried it first and she was amazed so I knew it had to be good. I ordered 3 tacos (1 chorizo, 2 chicharrón). My boyfriend ordered 2 quesatacos along with a small order of consomé. I didn't try the quesatacos but my boyfriend said they were mouthwatering delicious. I did try the consomé and it was BOMB. I regretted ordering a small we definitely needed more to share. My tacos were delicious!! Chicharrón was the definition of good! This taco truck also has a nice vegetarian menu. I thought that was great of them to add as many people do chose not to eat meat. My non-vegetarian friend loved the al pastor and res tacos. I spoke to the owner. He has worked in top-notch restaurants, catered for the Emmys and Grammys, and been the personal chef for several celebrities. He has some brilliant ideas for future vegetarian tacos... We are so happy Tacos 210 is in our neighborhood! And the truck is BRAND new. I had the asada burrito and my husband had them mix cabasa and asada for his burrito. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. I usually prefer hot salsa but I was happy to try theirs w only a little kick so I could taste the ingredients. Yummy! Not impressed by Tacos 210 at all. The Birria and Pastor Tacos didn't really taste like anything besides just the basic meat flavor. Not well seasoned and depend on the hunks of meat to do it all. I have been to this place twice. Both times I ordered the three taco plate (all pollo) with beans and rice, and a side of crisp potato tacos. The potato tacos were great both times. The first time the taco plate and the rice and beans tasted fresh and was nicely seasoned. The second time the chicken tasted kind of stale. The beans were chunky and hard. The rice was meh.
