Carne Asada Birria Tacos ( 4 pack) Al Pastor Tacos Chips and Guacamole Chips and Queso

Service, food and atmosphere 5/5. We ordered 4 carne asada with gauc, 4 pastor, the birria tacos (it comes as a 4 pack), chips, queso and guac on the side. They were all delicious. All the tacos come with onion and cilantro on it. If you don't like it, make sure to say something. Birria tacos were crispy and flavorful. The asada tacos were perfect. The pastor tacos were a bit salty. The bar has pickled onions, jalapeños, pico, limes and a bunch of different salsas. The service was quick. We sat to eat and were out within 35 minutes. We will be back!

This is a new taco joint that just recently opened up. We had a chance to try it and we were blown away from the cute & spacious venue, friendly staff and tasty meals. You can tell that everything's made in-house with the freshest ingredients. They offer a variety on their menu from burritos, tacos, quesabirras, fiesta bowls & snacks. Plus, they handcraft their own tortillas. Even Horchata is made in house too! What we order: Al Pastor Tacos (so tender and juicy) Carne Asada Tacos (packed with flavors) Birria Tacos (consomé chef's kiss) Chicken Quesadilla (plenty to share) Mushroom Tacos (smoked Portobello) Elotes (soooo good and fresh, they grilled it) Horchata (smooth and creamy, perfect with ice) Paleta from Frutopia (a nice sweet dessert to end our meal) Don't forget their Taco Tuesday deal too. We can't wait to go back and tried their burritos and their fish tacos next time.

AMAZING!!! Came for lunch on a Tuesday and the special was 3 tacos and a soda for $10. I got the fried fish, grilled shrimp and carne asada and my daughter got the fried fish, carne asada and al pastor. We also got chips and guac which is a good deal for $6 because it is a big, delicious bowl of guac. My favorite taco was probably the carne asada but the shrimp was great too. The fried fish would be amazing if it had a chipotle mayo or some sort of creamy sauce on it. My daughter's favorite was the al pastor. This is a taco shop so it isn't fancy but the food it great and they are literally making the tortillas right as they fill them.

Service was fast and restaurant was clean. The person who took our order also checked on us and you could tell he really care about our experience. The bar with taco toppings had everything you need including a delicious smoky, mildly spicy crema sauce. We didn't indulge but they had a nice selection of Mexican popsicles. My only complaint is the mexican sodas...keep them at 4.00 if you must to stay in business but 2.75-3.00 would keep me buying them. We will definitely be back!

Visited Tacos Borrachos and tried a variety of tacos they offered. The space is very spacious! When you enter, you will order your food and find a place to sit. Friendly staff and you can see them make your food behind the counter. They also have a sauce bar. Overall, I would recommend visiting if you are ever in the area! Their Birria was delicious!

I stopped by for lunch at Tacos Borrachos and enjoyed my food. It did get very busy at lunch and it was hard to find seating. I had the carne asada quesadilla. This was very filling and tasted really good. They included plenty of meat and cheese in the quesadilla. I would order this again. The chips and guacamole were also good. The art of the walls are fun and I liked the space. I plan on returning for lunch again to try something different.

Great first visit! I was a little skeptical in a town with so many Mexican restaurants owned by native Mexicans, what could the ABC Cafe team bring to that niche? Quite a lot, actually! I went there tonight with my boyfriend. First impression was the space was very clean and attractively decorated. A young woman greeted us from the order counter as we walked in. We asked for her recommendations. I ended up getting the al pastor (which you can see cooking on a spit) and the fried shrimp tacos. My boyfriend also got the al pastor, chicken tinga, and fish tacos. I also ordered guacamole for us to share. They make their tortillas in house and they were delicious! I was blown away. Everything was extremely well-seasoned, we got all the sauces from the salsa bar. Both the tacos I had were SO good. I would order either of them again, but I was wishing I'd had 2 al pastor tacos, if that means anything. Guacamole was really tasty though I wish the chips had been warm - that was my only real complaint but easily remedied and didn't affect my dining experience, inasmuch as everything else was amazing and the chips were solidly good, because they weren't warm. Also didn't love the tiny water cups. I get water is free and they may not want to spend extra me for the cups, but an 8 oz cup is a little small. But truly my only criticism but in no way would they keep me from going again. I look forward to trying burritos next time!

First time here and loved it! Got the 4-pack of Birria tacos for $11! Came today and was super nice and chill. Love the interior design/unique layout of this place as well. Calm ambiance today. Staff & food were great!

Respectfully, nothing was fundamentally wrong with the food, but it didn't distinguish itself. I'd eat there again if nearby, but wouldn't travel for it. Service was good for ordering and receiving time. From order to table was approximately 10 minutes which is exceptional considering the quantity of food ordered. The tables needed to be wiped down, and the table service was pretty much non-existent. You order your food at a register, seat yourself and that's that. No waitress or water; you have to buy bottled water. Price point was ~$65 for the taco platter and another ~$10 for the quesabirria tacos. This filled up the family of 4 with leftovers. There is a condiments / salsa bar but customers ran through it and there was mixed food between all the containers. The pickled red onion has their own kick to it which I enjoyed and their salsas/hot sauces are good. The decor is pretty straightforward, tables and chairs, with typical music you'd expect from other Mexican restaurants. Futbol on the TV's and old movies on others. There is a chef at the opposite end of where you order your food, hats off to that man he was very receptive and worked very hard. He helped with getting our table wiped down, our waters, and to go stuff for our leftovers, if he sees this, I want him to know I appreciated his efforts. This review is for my first time experience in Overland Park. I do not know if this is normal or because it was a Sunday that this is what the experience is but I will say, If they offered free water, had a busser, and kept the place more tidy it easily would elevate the rating.

The server was pretty chill when I was placing my order. And the music in the background was Bad Bunny style, fun stuff.

The service was okay! Nothing super special but they answered questions and were helpful at the counter. This was our first time here so we ordered a few things to sample and share amongst ourselves. The first thing we had was the chips and queso, which I thought was a bit expensive at $7.99 but not too bad. The queso was fairly spicy but otherwise nothing special. I usually love queso so it surprised me how neutral I felt toward it! The chips were good, thin and light with a crispy bite to them. We unfortunately didn't get to try the salsa, noticing only at the end of our meal that there was a sauce bar near the counter! The birria tacos were also...okay. They were very juicy but not very uniquely flavored compared to everything else we tried. The meat was tender and I loved the texture of the tortilla, but didn't care for the massive handful of cilantro dropped on top of everything on the plate. The dipping liquid (birria sauce?) was alright! It was the same flavor as the tacos themselves so it didn't add much, but it definitely wasn't bad. The "main course" of what we ordered was a combo of soft chicken tacos, rice, and beans. The chicken tacos were unfortunately very cold by the time we got them which was a bit strange, as almost everything else was hot! They tasted good but I'm really not a fan of eating cold chicken, so I passed them off to my friends. The beans were just okay. There's really not much to say about them. The rice also left me disappointed! I typically devour Spanish rice. Not only was it cold, there were also odd, hard grains of rice mixed in. Not enough to get one every bite but enough that the experience of eating it was off-putting. It was also quite bland. Another note: While we were eating, there was this constant loud droning coming from the air conditioner. I'm a MASSIVE fan of air conditioning so I'm grateful it was on in the first place, but that is something they really need to get fixed. Two women seated near us actually got up and walked outside after commenting multiple times about how disturbing the noise was. My experience here was definitely a mixed bag but it leaned toward the positive, so we'll likely try them again! They had several other menu items I'd like to try, including some American fare that I found intriguing.

My build-your-own weekday lunch ($8) included choice of entrée, choice of beans and rice. The chicken tinga burrito was packed full of moist, white chicken and topped with a very flavorful sauce and cheese. I also noticed two rollup garage doors leading to the covered patio area. The food and drink menus included Mexican favorites, taco flights, taquito flights, margarita flights, 88 tequilas, meals for the kiddos and brunch (Sat & Sun 11AM - 2PM).
