Stopped by for taco Tuesday. Did you know you can get 5 tacos for $5.99 all day Tuesday? They say chicken or beef & soft, crunchy or fried. I ordered fried but they gave me crunchy. Not too bad about it because they're still yummy. But. Their fried tacos are soooo good! The staff is always friendly & service is quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I can't comment on the ambiance because I've only ever used the drive thru.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maybe if I go inside next time, they will be more likely to give me what I order. also, the queso is great! I forgot to get a picture until after I started eating. But believe me when I say this take out container is FULL when they give it to you.

2 Carne Asada tacos, 1 al pastor and Horchata

This place was rocking & rolling at lunch time. Had to be a little patient for the food with the crowd and drive thru. The al pastor was one of the better I've had in KS/MO! Not amazing, still looking for that, but very good! The Carne Asada tacos were solid. These tacos are huge, so 2 is plenty & I can put some food down. Maybe a side of beans next time. The Horchata wasn't my favorite...soda next time. I may have to swing by and see how this place tastes after 10 PM

    5 crispy tacos

The ads for this place have been popping up on our social media timelines for a couple months so we decided to finally try it out. We ordered the Tuesday special with 5 crispy tacos, birria tacos, Tripe taco, and adobada tostada. We got our order to go because the dining area didn't have too many clean tables available. We did find the cleanest table and wiped it down to sit and wait. Our food took about 15 minutes before it was done. I think they focused more on the drive thru orders because those seemed to go out pretty quickly. My expectations were fairly low for the crispy tacos special, but I'm cheap and wanted to give it a try. Chicken and ground beef tacos are rarely that good to me but the shredded chicken tacos were a nice surprise. They were nice and flavourful and pretty juicy. The ground beef tacos were as expected but still seasoned well. My daughter really liked the birria meat and consome. Their consome was heartier than some other places. She liked that it had so much meat in the consome. My bf tried the tripe taco and really liked it. We only ordered one for him to try and their tacos are pretty big so he barely had room to try other tacos! The adobada was very well seasoned. The tostada was also pretty big and could be a meal itself! Their salsa bar options were ok, kinda on the bland side. Overall we enjoyed our meal. Definitely get your money's worth here. I can't wait to try some other meat options, but we will probably get drive thru next time around.

    Carnitas chimichanga combo

WHOA these portions!!! For $11.99 you can get a combo with rice and beans and that'll keep a grown man satisfied! The ambiance and service were just okay, but we were also there at 9:30 pm. That's a huge plus about this place - they're open ultra late in OP (some nights, midnight or 2am!?!?) something nigh on unheard of in this town. I had the carnitas chimichanga combo and I wouldn't change a thing about it - crispy and savory and slathered in fresh mashed avocado and sour cream. The rice was fluffy and filled with peas and carrots. I didn't care as much for my partner's steak tacos, I thought the meat was a bit dry but he seemed to enjoy them. Definitely give this place a try! They are a much MUCH better choice for late night munchies than Taco Bell.

    #9 Two Chicken Tacos Combo

This new Mexican restaurant was already up to speed on their second day of operation. I enjoyed the good portions, the complimentary salsa bar and the fast, accommodative service. My two chicken tacos combo ($10.99) was brought to my table just two minutes after I ordered at the counter. It included two 5" hard shell tacos and generous portions of rice and refried beans. The tacos had good amounts of moist, tasty, shredded chicken, while the rice was moist, and the beans were nice and creamy. Some menu prices at this location were higher than the prices posted online - not cool. I noticed a clean and nice dining area with Mexican background music and a salsa bar with five salsa options without labels. Labels showing heat levels would have been helpful. They offered a patio, a drive-thru, early hours, late hours, daily specials, a kids' menu and breakfast all day. I found this location to be a good 3.5-star Mexican fast-food option. I'll round up due to the extensive menu, the daily specials and the salsa bar.

Chicken Fajitas (tortilla came on the side)

Always fun to check out a new business! Their front counter is simple with a single register. Their dining room seats plenty and has some bright fun colors. The food we sampled was good. I try to eat on the healthier side, which I found a great choice in the fajita plate with tons of grilled chicken and peppers! And those plates are huge! So you'll definitely get lunch for the next day as well. For their grand opening, they had a mariachi band! So fun! I'm sure it won't be a regular thing though. One thing I'd love to see added to the menu is black beans! I know the pinto is classic, but the black beans are so easy to add to a menu and give us customers some more variety to choose from. Thank you!

I love that we can just order online and go pick it up. Pricing is good for how much food you get. I got the combo platter which came with rice, beans, beef/chicken/shrimp for 14$. If you get just chicken it's 12$ and it's two meals in one! The salsa packets that they give are actually spicy AF so be careful if you're not good with spice.

    Cold burrito with old cheese

I went to the location on Wornall with a coupon for 1/2 off. I ordered 2 smothered Burritos with rice and Beans. I was the only customer. I got home and was very disappointed. No rice and Beans and neither burrito was smothered and they weren't warm. $14.00 is a lot of money to waste. We love the other locations. Try harder

I'm not sure why people are rating this place so highly. The best part about this place is the horchata. Yes, the portions are huge but overall it lacks flavor. This is subpar Mexican food. I see my peeps cooking it back there and I'm in awe of the blandness.

Great tacos. Great service. We went through the Drive-thru. Picked up tacos and a combination plate. It was great portion size and presentation. Looking forward to trying their breakfast menu.

They absolutely have the processes of this little restaurant honed to perfection, and even during a busy lunch time kept things humming so that there was minimal wait time (to order, for the food to be brought out, and to pay for our meal). Many, MANY thanks to Robert, who seated us, took our order, brought our food out, and settled our bill. He was friendly, efficient, and so welcoming. It was a joy to watch him work; he made sure to greet each and every customer coming in the door, and was consistently so upbeat and positive. And many, MANY thanks to Tony at the grill! Our food was FANTASTIC!! I have high standards for Mediterranean food, and the falafel wrap was totally delicious! The falafel itself was perfectly cooked, with a crispy outer layer, and the other ingredients in the wrap were chosen for a perfect melding of flavors. I had the side salad, with homemade Thai peanut dressing, and it was equally tasty. My husband had the patty melt, which came on homemade bread (!) and was, per his report, perfectly done. His side was tater tots, and we shared them. They were crisp and light without being greasy, and addictively yummy! The restaurant is in a strip center; it's not very big, but the tables are well placed so that no one feels cramped. The open reception area and kitchen/grill make it easy for the staff to respond to what's happening in the dining room (e.g., new folks arriving). It was a truly memorable meal, and we'll definitely be back! Again, MANY thanks to Robert and Tony for such a great lunch. We appreciate you!

On this last visit I got the West Coast Omelet (bacon, onions, tomatoes, and cheese topped with a couple of avocado slices). It comes with a side of rosemary potatoes and an English muffin. I swapped the muffin for a biscuit. I had forgotten their biscuits are more similar to a cross between cornbread and cake. I'd prefer just a regular biscuit even though their style of biscuit is interesting. The omelet and biscuit was large. The rosemary potatoes are delicious and I'd have loved to have a bit more of them. I really enjoyed the omelet as well! I had to take about half of the omelet and biscuit to go. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I think there dishes tend to be a bit more sweet and while I love sweet, if I'm eating savory, I'm picky about the sweetness. I think that is a personal preference and I'm sure some people love it. My server was Kat (Katerina) and she was great. Very patient and helpful. She happened to be my server both times I've been there! The restaurant is very clean with a comfortable, welcoming environment. It's always nice to see their messages of kindness. We could use a lot more of that these days! Cruelty seems to be in fashion now. It's refreshing to go somewhere promoting kindness! I'd go back just for that bit the service is outstanding and the food is really good!

The yolk should run and these didn't. Not the end of the world, but when you cooks eggs all day it would have been nice to have them not overcooked. It tasted ok. The corned beef was good and I would get that again, but not on a benny. The hollandaise was ok but a bit bland. I was expecting some lemon flavor and that tangy kick but it was super mild. It was fine just not to my liking. My wife got a breakfast quesadilla and it was stuffed full and was better than mine. I had a bite and it was pretty flavorful but we did have to pay extra for sour cream which was weird, but whatevs. The place has a lot of signs inside. Not sure what i make of it but there were enough of them that we both noticed. Our server was good but a bit quirky. For instance, she sat us and as we were sitting down she asked if we knew what we wanted. Not rude or anything like that we just thought, hmmm that was interesting. We told no we needed to look at the menu and it was all fine. I just think she had a quirky personality, nothing off putting. We kind of laughed about it and went on. More of a story than anything else that we talk about and get a kick out of. Overall the place was ok. My husband had the corned beef hash meal. The breakfast came out and a reasonable time. My husband enjoyed his and they pride themselves on having a lot of homemade food. My food was good as well, except the sausage patties were slightly overcooked. The gluten-free pancakes were excellent and I'm so happy that they have them since not a lot of places have that choice. The restaurant is a homey atmosphere and it seemed like they had a lot of regulars. My husband used the restroom and I think that the men's restroom doubles as having some utility items in there like a mop and so forth. But he said there was a cabinet that had Styrofoam cups that were facing forward, which probably should not be in there. That is the only reason I gave it to four. We would definitely come back even though it is a little bit of a drive for us.
