Hands down the best catering experience I've had! I work for a local non-profit, and we hired Tacos Brothers Garcia to cater graduation for our seniors this past Saturday. They arrived early and were so professional! They set up outside before the ceremony began, and we could smell the deliciousness wafting in. When it was time to eat, we were offered so many options - quesadillas, rice, beans, tacos - even the vegetarians were taken care of. At the end of the event, they wrapped up left over food for families to take home. I have to say that the biggest gift that they offered that day was kindness. Booking with Myra was convenient and easy, she was very communicative and attentive to all questions. The day of the event, Tacos Brother's Garcia arrived early and set up discreetly. They were very organized and efficient. Once they started serving food, everyone commented to me how delicious the food was and how polite the service was. They offered last call for tacos about 20 minutes before service ended and in the end left me some leftovers, not too many - they seemed to have calculated the right amount of food well and everyone seemed to have seconds and possibly thirds. The Tacos Bros Garcia catered my friend's party last weekend and they were amazing. For $11 a person, they brought in a stainless taco truck on a cart and set up shop on the deck. They grilled up fresh hot tacos and quesadillas all night long. They're friendly, fast, and absolutely delicious. They were able to cater to everybody's special needs, making vegetarian and vegan options, and mild tacos for the kids. At the end of the night, everybody took a business card, myself included. Next time I throw a party, these guys are definitely gonna be there. Totally fun. I am glad to write this review for the taco brothers ! Sunday, June 9th 2019 they catered my daughters graduation party of 36 guest. They did arrive 20 mins late due to the previous party but once they set up and got going it was smooth sailing. My guest are still talking about how delicious all the food was. Tacos made to order, quesadillas, rice and beans and all the condiments. They also provide the plates, napkins and forks. All you can eat for 2 hours !!!! They leave all left over food with you, yes you can keep it !!! The food and service was 5 star . I will use the again for my next backyard party !!! Highly recommend! Smh ... Who runs out of meat and halts the taco train within an hour of arrival (and late too)?!!!! Grrrr!!! I can't speak for the taste of the tacos because all they had left were quesadillas. It was a party of a little less than 40 peeps with some kids who certainly don't eat a ton of tacos! Sure there were guys in their 20's who probably ate 5 at the most and that only made up about 10 (10x5=50), and assuming everyone else had 3 (30x3=90) that's still only 140 tacos!! For $600, they should have at least provided 400 tacos! Those tacos could easily go for $1 each!! I smell something fishy (too bad it wasn't yummy fish tacos) going on with how much they really put out!! I wouldn't recommend their services, total ripoff! Or if you do, I'd get a total breakdown of how much meat by the lb. they're going to provide and maybe weigh it when they get there!!! Then again, you would really have to take a chance on how fresh that meat is and hope no one gets sick!! Do you really wanna do all that before a party??? Kinda blows the fun!!! Whatever ya do, proceed with caution ... Maybe if the party host's last name was Gonzalez, Rodriguez or Sanchez they wouldn't try to pull this sh*t! read more

I got Tacos Brothers Garcia to come and cater my 25th birthday party, and they were flat-out awesome. They showed up early and started sizzling onions and meat right away so everything was ready to go by the time my guests got there. I sort of expected them to serve the food out of an actual truck, but instead they showed up with a big pickup truck and unloaded two separate carts, which is good because it makes their setup more flexible. My place doesn't really have a back yard, so we just set them up on the sidewalk in front of the steps to my house and that worked great. I think you could even get them to set up upstairs if your staircase is wide enough. The food is great. The other reviews basically cover what they do already - they had beef, chicken and pork going, a full salsa bar with a salsa verde and a salsa roja, rice and beans, quesadillas and also tasty grilled spicy peppers. Everyone raved about how tasty it was. One thing that I didn't see mentioned in other reviews is how professional and chill they were. They needed a light to prepare the food although the grill itself runs on propane (I ended up having to run an extension cord from inside my house). In the meantime, the best I could do was to give them a bike light, and as soon as I did that they got straight to work. I paid $12 per guest, but neither side was too worried about the exact numbers. A few of my friends got into a taco-eating contest, culminating in one of them eating 30 and then passing out for the rest of the night on my couch. The Garcias didn't even bat an eye. I paid for everything by check (I'm sure cash works as well). They said that they'll cater for 25 people and up. Bottom line...if you want to throw a great party, call these guys up! read more

My sister threw a 50th birthday party for her best friend at her house and they had all of the usual party things with a huge table with a big cake, fancy hors d'oeuvres, cookies, chocolates, cheese, chips and dip, etc and several coolers full of beer and sodas. I started to munch on those things in the dining room and was wondering why there was so much food and how little of it had been eaten considering I had arrived an hour into the party. someone told me that there was a taco stand in the backyard so I went back to check it out. Best idea ever! a portable mobile taco stand to cater parties. The party had about 40 people when including all of the children and everybody loved the tacos! I had about 12 of them and asked if that was some kind of record and they told me that they have had people eat 35 of them before. They had chicken, beef and pork, all were tasty but after trying one of each, I was sold on the pork which tasted like authentic tacos al pastor; the kind you get on street corners in Mexico. everything tasted fresh and had that real Mexican street food flavor which I prefer to the American style Mexican food in most Mexican restaurants. They also made you quesadillas, both corn and flour and had beans and rice so they could have made you a burrito if you requested it. they had trays full of diced onions, parsley, cheese, beans and veggies all very neatly displayed and the sauteed onions on the grill made the tacos even tastier. Daniel and his assistant were very friendly and helpful and were there to feed everyone delicious tacos at their asking. I don't know why Gigi M had such a different experience but at our party there were about 30 adults and 10 children and people were constantly going up for more and not only did they not run out but there was extra meat leftover at the end of the day. I would not depend on this company to cater a wedding or large party on their own and expect to feed everyone without other food and snack options but I found them to be awesome and if you can afford it, why not? it was excellent and definitely the hit of the party! I only met one bro but he and his assistant were friendly and professional and I would highly recommend Taco Bros Garcia to anyone throwing a party and wants to impress their guests with an experience they probably haven't had at other parties before. The set up was super clean and the food was delicious. Tacos can be hit or miss but these tacos were a big hit! I gotta say I hadn't had good tacos like these in awhile! I called Tacos Brothers Garcia a few months ago because I was coordinating a baby shower from LA. There were a few issues but in the end everything came together and my guests had a great time! Most of my planning was done with Mayra. She was very helpful on the phone. It was just difficult getting a hold of her even though I sent inquiries on the website. I was also a little stressed out because it was a week before the event and no one had called to confirm. I finally got a hold of her and specified that we would have only 35 guests, and not the 50 I had initially thought. When the day arrived, they were there exactly the time promised and had set up and started serving at 7 pm sharp, as requested. The guys were both very kind and upbeat to all the guests, offering extra food to everyone. In the end, they even packed up plates for the guests to take as leftovers. They provided 3 kinds of meats, cheese quesadillas, grilled onions and peppers, 2 kinds of salsa, sour cream, onions, cilantro, limes and all the paper products needed (plates, napkins, forks, spoons) The last issue was that when they handed me the invoice, it was for 50 people. At first I thought Great, this is going to be trouble. But as soon as I told them I had changed to 35, they immediately said no problem and only charged me for 35 guests. When they left, everything was nice and clean and exactly how it was before they came. I would highly recommend Tacos Brothers to anyone looking for a good taco caterer! We had the TBG do a grad party for 30 of us. Surprise for our son who has been overseas and was really missing Mexican food. Total hit!!
