    Cali Style Burrito

Tacos buscado is relatively new to the area. I didn't have high hopes for it so I waited a bit before check I them out but I'm glad I did. Shouldn't have waited that long. The place is located at an intersection of Addison and forest preserve so it's real convenient. It's small but clean inside, not really I sit down place. There are some stools where you can eat but it's more tailored for take out. I initially tried the California burrito and the barbacoa taco. The taco was small, street taco size but packed with meat. It's was good but I found the barbacoa was over salted. The burrito was really good, however it had a little too many fries and not enough steak the first time I ordered. Every time since (and I've had it for like a week straight :)) it's been much better. I'm a bit fan of the burrito, the steak is nice and flavorful.it just hits the spot. Their salsas are really unique too! The have a orange and a green salsa. I'm a big fan of both. The green is a little more spicy but both are nice and thick, I'm not a big fan of watery salsas so thats a big plus. They have great flavor and the heat is just enough to complement the food. If you're nearby give tacos buscado a try. I think it's some of the best Mexican food in this area.

This Mexican-Venezuelan Fusion restaurant embodies what the Norridge Area needs, quality over quantity style foods. On this visit, I first tried the Beef Empanada, boy oh boy I had an empanada before, but not like this. The dough on the outside is a corn meal handmade mix which truly set the tone for me getting ready to write a review immediately. And the beef was more of a shredded beef which seems to be the ongoing choice in this restaurant. It was given to me for free courtesy of the cashier Marco, but after eating it I felt as if I stole it because it was definitely worth the $2.50 humbly could've been even more by how good it was. Next up I had one Steak Taco which in my honest opinion wasn't the most memorable part of my visit, and was actually the main reason I came in, but like I said before... quality over quantity. Although it was very petite coming in at about 4 inches, the thoughtfulness of them choosing authentic Skirt Steak over whatever these other restaurants choose that makes you kind of question what your eating cough... cough.. TBK..cough... truly puts my faith in them for the future of what they decide to do next with their tacos. I'm sure that getting a taco meal would honestly suffice and that should truly fill you up. Boy howdy, now this last one truly took me out of Chicago.. I had the ever so popular Pabellon Arepa which brought so much of my Miami Origin taste buds flying in to my mouth. I tasted a sense of Cuba and Venezuela in the Hialeah area and a hint of Haiti in the Miami-Dade area. No wonder why this is the most popular Arepa of the restaurant, a beautifully crafted shredded juicy beef, perfectly cooked plantains (big kudos to the chef on this one) and black beans with cheese to follow... I knew this was my new Venezuelan dish. Although a relatively new restaurant overtaking a hand me down building from several different restaurants that just couldn't survive the area. This place was very very clean! I was on the inside sitting down which was met with a very polite employee cleaning the chairs and tables before the next customer even walked in was a sign this place could be trusted. The customer service in this restaurant. Marco treated me like he knew me which in most parts gets my business 100%. A pretty well ran restaurant in my full opinion can't wait to see what this restaurant does next! 4/5

Searching for places to eat in the area and this place popped up. I don't normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. The arepa de pabellon, tacos, and churros were absolutely delicious--just a little annoyed I had to share them. Service was excellent and quick! We will be back to try everything else!

Go to any market in Mexico and they'll treat you the exact same. Unfortunately for them their original Southside location is closed due to a fire but they'll be back hopefully soon! My son and daughter both ordered their Birria Tacos, my wife ordered their Quesabirria tacos and I ordered their Tazon Chico of their carnaza Birria of course. It also came with a side of their handmade tortillas. Everything tasted so fresh and the Birria was very delicious. So much flavor in the consome. Ordering the tazon is definitely they way to go here because you get the meat in the consome. But if you wanted meat only, you have the option of ordering their plato instead. Really awesome space at a crowded downtown location. Foods were served on nice metal holders or disposable/environmentally friendly containers and utensils. The tacos were huge, and I love that they focus on the variety of vegetables on the taco, which is often overlooked at other places. Veggies also make the taco look beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the tikka paneer, the paneer was soft for paneer but firmer than tofu, a really great texture. And the flavor wasn't overpowering. The tikka sauce was light, which I am totally fine with. The chicken quesadilla was also made well and of good value, the kids all really liked it. The salmon was good too but didn't really stand out as much, but appreciate the variety veggies on top! The mexi-Cali shrimp bowl was not bad either, but also didn't stand out much. The shrimp was good but I prefer it cooked even lighter if possible. Flavor was good tho. The rice was long grain, which I prefer, but they do give quite a lot, I ended up having quite a lot leftover. I wish the had a bit more cilantro or other herby mix to increase the depth of flavor, but overall still pretty good. Queso was also really good, thick and creamy, not too salty, but sadly the kids didn't like it as much. Husband also liked the gochujang pork a lot, said it was actually really really good. Overall, we really enjoyed everything we had there. Love that they also had paper towels everywhere. My preferred method of keeping clean haha. Will definitely come back.

It was very busy, almost every seat taken and the staff was running around taking orders with a smile delivering food and seemed to be having fun too. This is the kind of ENERGY I love!! There is a separate bar for drinks. The juices are freshly made in house, the horchata was highly recommended and apparently always sells out. It's 1 pm and you're HUNGRY and want a DRINK. This was our experience walking into Taqueria Primo Chukis. We ordered some very well-priced margaritas, my husband got tacos and I got a chicken burrito. YUMMMM. Great portions (my burrito was huge), simple yet flavorful recipes, and great service. The house salsas were great as well and actually quite spicy. After inhaling our food in record time and declaring this our favorite restaurant of our new neighborhood, only one question remained - was it actually that good, or were we just starving from our move? Don't worry, we put that to the test! We came back with a group on a perfectly normal day and had a spread of enchiladas, tacos, burritos, and flan. Somehow, I think it was even better the second time!! My husband now suggests this spot for any and every meal. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for simple yet delicious mexican food.
