They don't believe in putting any meat in their papa rellena or alcapurrias. It's pathetic.

Everytime I come here i give them a chance and I am amazed at how skimpy they are on some things with their prices. Their alcapurrias and papa rellenas always have NO MEAT inside at all! We are Puerto Rican and we are supposed to be proud of serving this to people representing our culture?!? Where is the meat!?!? Coño!

This place just never gets old man... just spectacular. A part of me is glad I don't live nearby or else I would be here multiple times a week and more than likely have heart problems (just kidding). But definitely love this place. We came here with a group of 5 and it was kind of busy yet they still sat us pretty quick, that was great start. We ordered Mofongo Guisado y Bistec Encebollado, with 3 empanadas (bistec, chicken, guava crema). Roughly $50 w/tip. All fantastic, all top tier, all I would order again. If you have never been to any of the Jibaritos y Más locations, you are really missing out. This place reminded me that I need to find a local/more close to home Puerto Rican joint. The arroz con gandules is potentially my favorite rice of all time. Thank you Jibaritos y Más, I'll be seeing you soon! (Also very nice paintings / murals inside, props to wherever did that! *besides the Sox painting... Go Cubs) Personal Review: 9.5/10

Sad looking Jibarito with a steak thinner than ham.

Ordered delivery. Was so dissapointed with this steak Jibarito. I felt so cheated when I saw the steak was as thin as a tortilla. It was not filling at all and favorless. Not worth the high price.

This place is next-level. Delicious food and solid coffee. The walls inside are splashed with colorful murals blending both Puerto Rico and Chicago. The staff was great and moved around with a sense of urgency. We ordered the Steak Jibarito, Empanadas, Alcapurrias, Arroz de Gandules, and Coquito latte. All a 10/10. Can't recommend Jibarito's on Harlem enough.

I've been missing Puerto Rico lately and had a craving for some Maduros. We chose to come here since it had good reviews and seemed authentic and I'm so glad we did! Everything was absolutely delicious, my jibarito was perfectly cooked and so fresh. The arroz con gandules had so much flavor and the maduros hit the spot. It was so good my husband and I immediately decided we're going to go back to Puerto Rico this winter for a visit and to escape the Chicago cold. Until then though, this place will be our hold over!

I went January 16th and ordered Jibarito de bistec and it was delicious. I had white rice and beans and enjoyed every bite.

I remember when this place had like 4 tables. It looks like they purchased more space, knocked down the walls and now it's a full size restaurant with a cocktail bar! The food has not changed. Still the best Jibaritos I've ever had. Hot and fresh. The arroz con gondules taste like my grandmothers. I could weep eating relleno de papa And the margaritas were sweet and STRONG. The berries were a nice touch. I'm glad to see my people rising up and feeding the community. Puerto Rican food is slept on!

Staff was friendly and attentive. Chill spot with salsa music blasting in the background. My father and I tried the lechon jibarito. Mine had an excessive amount of fat. In addition, it was so salty I couldn't finish it. I tried the bacailito and it was extremely oily and fishy. My parents have lived in the area for decades and there are better options.

At first, I was a little unsure how it worked since there's a service counter, but staff quickly greeted us and showed us to a table. Table service was a pleasant surprise. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, walking us through an impressively extensive menu. I ordered the Double Medianoche--pulled pork, ham, mustard, Swiss cheese, and sweet pickles, all pressed panini‑style. My friend went with the Pan con Croqueta, a ham and cheese sandwich topped with a ham croquette. For anyone unfamiliar (myself included), croquetas are minced pork that's breaded and deep‑fried. Both sandwiches were solid, but the Medianoche was the clear winner for me--warm, flavorful, and perfectly pressed. With so many options on the menu, there's plenty more I want to try. Friendly staff, good food, and a comfortable dine‑in experience. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. There at least two signs advising they will charge 18% gratuity to tables of three or more and will not split checks for three or more.

Beware..... of yourself…read more Palm Sunday one of the busiest Sundays of the year. Most cafes get hit with the after church crowd. I sat by the back wall and witnessed what hostesses, waitresses, waiters, cashiers, chefs, cooks.... go through. A table became so selfishly rude and impatient. A restaurant full of people. *** if a restaurant is full and has a line outside... as a foodie.... that's a GREAT SIGN*** It reminded me of the times, I was rude, full of myself, immature, selfish, impatient, obnoxious, ridiculous, wrong!!!! I wanted to defend the staff so badly, I wanted to step up and say something. But instead I observed how poor of a customer we are and have become. All in all, the 2 waitresses, were humble, quiet, patience, pleading with the crowd, smiling, trying, cleaning, answering calls, welcoming each costumer/s, taking orders, preparing online orders, attending to each table promptly. Our food was timely, delicious, affordable, amazing. More importantly the staff on point is AMAZING!! I hope you each search your heart, think!!! One day your loved one, child, grandchild, yourself... may be in a similar situation. Treat and appreciate your waiter/s, delivery person, cashier..... and bless them.
