And One medium soda $2.99 + tax and if you want a refill you have to pay $1.26 extra for that refill.... after paying for a meal at this establishment you still have to pay to refill your refreshment. Ordered my quesadilla and asked for sour cream and was charged $1 for 1oz of sour cream... won't be back but glad I at least checked it out. Tacos Don Chente, I love coming here for lunch. Their food is good. I love their cafe de olla. I've had birria tacos, pollo a la plancha (my favorite) and today I had a delicious albondiga soup for this cold weather. Very nice people and great service. Food overall a solid 5 Service a 5 attentive but your food doesn't arrive all at once. Ambiance seems busy but then dies down it has its moments. I ordered a shrimp cocktail it was filled with mostly tomato, cilantro, and onion with maybe 7 shrimp that seemed to be very cold completed with some Clamato sauce. I'm so upset right now, I'm a regular customer here and I just request some radish on the side because when I eat there I always get some and the lady wanted to charge me $2 extra for a small portion of radish. This little place has been on my radar for along time.i pass by often but have not gone in until now. There is no parking in the front so I parked in the back.i was greeted and asked for my order right away. The prices are reasonable and the server was happy to explain how the items were made the only drawback was the soda fountain machine was broke do they were pushing their fruit water drinks.i ordered the super nachos without meat they were good and the nacho chips was fresh I also got the California burrito which has french fries in it that was interesting but good over I would give this place a 7 out of 10 because of service I would come again. read more

Beautiful restaurant in Paramount, Ca. There is private parking as well as street but it may still be a little cramped. The restaurant itself is pretty spacious, so carpool if you neeD to. The nachos are AMAZING. Everywhere else overcharges on things like guac and sour cream, they load them up here! Even use a cheese sauce, which makes it a 10/10. The queso birra taco was a first for me, and it was love at first bite. The crepe was so good. The kiddo thought it was a delicious treat. Chorizo breakfest burrito was good, my husband loves the carne asada and breakfest bacon burrito. Just had the enchiladas (double rice, no beans), and the red sauce is wonderful. It it the classic sauce you think of, nothing weird. Has spice without being spicy. It is perfect. I always get everything with no beans though, just because I don't really like them. I'm visiting from Sacramento and I'm in town for the weekend and staying at Embassy Suites. I asked the staff for good Mexican food and they recommended this place, and it was walking distance from the hotel. Fantastic food, friendly service, good prices, and it came with a hibiscus drink, that was really good and refreshing. The red salsa gave me a runny nose and made me sweat, the greens salsa was more tolerable to my gringo taste buds. I will have to remember this place the next time I'm down this way. read more

Friendly staff but their caldo de pollo comes with caldo and pollo. Maybe a couple of Un cooked pieces of potatoes. The potatoes on this last particular order weren't fully cooked. I called them directly to make sure that their caldo de pollo was served with ONLY caldo and pollo and potatoes and the young gentleman I spoke with confirmed that YES it's only "pollo and caldo and a few veggies." Maybe they ran out of veggies this time around ? So if you're looking for authentic caldo de pollo with the goods this may not be the place for you. I like coming here with my dad. We both order the sopa de fideo before we eat anything else. It reminds us of my grandmas sopa. I recommend the caldo de pescado. Especially if you've had a fun night the night before and you need something to get you going again. The chips are always fresh and their salsa is on point. I used to enjoy going to this place prior to the pandemic, and have overall always enjoyed the food. I was very disappointed in my visit today. I ordered take out for the record. I ordered 7 tacos, but only got 6 when I opened the containers as I got home. The tacos were plain, and they didn't even include normal fixings for my tacos like onions, cilantro, etc. I ate them because I was hungry, but I felt like taking the entire order & just get my money back. I don't mind paying for quality, but I won't ever pay almost $3 per taco for this crappy food & service. I hope this helps to improve, because I won't be returning for a while. read more
