Had craving for quesobirria tacos. Being that it was New Year's Eve, not many places were open. Found this on Yelp with ok reviews. Drove to location and ordered 6 Quesobirria tacos and 2 containers of consomé. When I opened plastic bag at home, I realized one of the consommé containers had spilled. When I opened first container with tacos, I realized they did not put cheese in ANY of the tacos. The consommé was bland and lacked flavor. The worst part was when I tried calling them, their voicemail on business line had not been set up and you are unable to leave a message. Nobody answered as I tried calling at least 5 times. Food is good, but pricing. The only issue I've had is if you order a medium drink no ice they give it to you in a small cup at the price of a medium. I've never experienced that anywhere else. I stopped by for the first time today around 2:00. I was greeted warmly and explained the menu. I ordered their surf and turf burrito and it was AMAZING! Happy we tried it. The asada fries were flavorful, they put a seasoning on their fries. They needed a little more cheese. The sope of carnitas was tasty with a light crispy texture. They use super fresh ingredients. The flan was excellent, creamy and full of flavor. It would be nice if their menu listed prices. It was $22 for asada fries, 1 carnitas sope, and 1 guava lemonade. This is perhaps the BEST Mexican food in Oxnard.... I've been to many places, but this food is pretty much perfect. It's authentic and delicious... just like momma cooked it. The quesobirrias are delicious!!!! Pair it with the consomé and it's perfection. The salsas are spicy and flavorful and everything tastes fresh. The portions are pretty big, so come hungry. We shared nachos and they were really good too! The tacos are perfectly made and staff is friendly. I would like more shading and places to sit, but they are constructing more seating in the back. As a Mexican I can confirm that the food is authentic. I would like for them to offer wet wipes for your hands when you eat the quesobirrias. I think this hole in the wall needs its own site in a nicer location, but it has character and it's very charming so it gives it that extra special element of authenticity.... I felt like I was in Mexico. I highly recommend it and almost don't want to share how good it is because I'm afraid it's always going to get packed now. I give them my highest possible rating for the birria tacos, consomé and quesobirrias!!!! Love love love them and I've already told my friends and family about them. Simply DELICIOUS!!!!!! Tacos El Diablo is the real deal! I stopped by after friends were raving about it. I decided to give it a try. I ordered (2) Al Pastor & (2) Asada as those are my go-to. For me, if the carne asada tacos are are not absolutely great, then the place just doesn't cut it cause not everyone knows the seasoning it takes for some great asada tacos (personal opinion). The asada was juicy, tender, very flavorful and very little to no fat or nerve. Exactly what a carne asada taco should be! The Al Pastor did not fall behind, it was also very flavorful, juicy and not over powered with its seasoning. It had very little grease, but yet very juicy meat. They were not stingy on the meat either. The salsa verde and roja had a nice kick. The roja more so for those like me who enjoy a spicy sauce. Tacos El Diablo is here to stay! read more

I continued with my order and she was talking to me and having another conversation with the employee. She wasn't making eye contact and being plain rude.
