I've been here several times, and the food never disappoints! We've had the pastor, asada, birria, and shrimp tacos, along with burritos, and every dish has been excellent. This lil taco joint rivals the some of best taquerias I've had in Mexico; it's that good and that's no exaggeration. Both locations are great. I stopped by this location on C st recently and found parking in the back of resteraunt. You will find patio seating up front and in the rear. Menu has a good variety with all kinds of different meats being served. My wife and I ordered the chicken torta and a asada torta and they were both AMAZING. Quality and flavor were a 10/10. We also got a strawberry lemonaid that was tasty and all of this cost me $23 bucks and it was a lot of food. We were stuffed. Overall, we will come back again when in the area. Unfortunately, I've had two negative experiences that changed my opinion of the business. The first happened when my family and I purchased three full orders of food and were told we couldn't use the restroom. Instead of speaking to us directly, the owner asked an employee to tell us that customers were not allowed to use it. As paying customers, that felt frustrating and unwelcoming. The second experience involved the aguas frescas. I asked if I could sample a flavor before purchasing, and I was told no. When I asked what would happen if I didn't like the drink, I was informed that the restaurant does not allow exchanges or refunds. While I understand businesses have policies, the interaction came across as unfriendly and left a bad impression. After supporting this restaurant for years, these experiences were enough for me and my family to decide not to return.
