Five stars no doubt. The flavors are spot on authentic. Try the salsa verde on your dishes, it's got a kick. My favorites are the carne asada gordito and the quesadilla of course topped with salsa verde. Huge portions so come hungry. Be warned, a food coma will ensue afterwards. The food was fantastic! The quesadilla was unusual- not on a tortilla but a fried masa "fritter"- but great!

Service was great. We did get charged a $0.50 delivery fee for them to bring out the food to us at the table. There's no prices on the menu which I think they should add but most tacos are around $3.24 or more depending on the meat. I got the asada fries (they were $13.83) and the fries were cooked perfectly. Their hot sauces are pretty spicy as well. Came here again the tacos pastor regular we're delicious the shrimp grilled were not that good I do recommend the fish tacos that are fried, those were delicious, but I think they should make a change to adding like a creamy sauce that would take them to the top! This time the service was not so great. The girls were talking having personal conversations. We waited about 2 to 3 minutes until their conversation ended, and then they took our order. Also, if you see my picture of the Horchata, this was how it was served. I asked her if she can fill it up to the top and she said no that they are premade already. I don't understand if I'm paying for a full cup. Why is it only a little bit above halfway? That is unacceptable. As well as a service again not once. Did they check up on us at the back patio. This is more of a "taco spot" than a restaurant as there are no dinner plates with rice & beans and you order at the front. There is no indoor seating. The seating is out on the sidewalk (cafe style) or the cute back patio which felt like a little trip to Baja. My gang ordered quesabirra tacos (served with consommé), asada tacos and a quesabirria burrito, served with small sides of pickled vegetables and three salsas (red, green and habanero). It's simple food; all of it executed spectacularly well. The service was extremely friendly and reasonably prompt. The irony of it is that we'll be visiting "El Diablo" weekly after church . Finally decided to try the hype here. We ordered four tacos to try the different meats. Al pastor, chorizo, carnitas, and Birria. We waited 25 mins to get our food. This is a new place, but this has to improve. The carnitas and Birria were just okay. Al pastor was better, but the chorizo was really good. The tacos are small like street tacos and are a little pricy at over $3 per taco. No prices listed on the menu which seems illegal..? We tried all 3 salsas they offer which came in extremely small cups. The salsas were all delicious, but come on. Gotta give bigger portions. They will charge you for extra salsa too which seems almost unheard of in a Mexican restaurant. The place is small with outdoor seating. We watched some other dishes come out which looked good and that might be the better way to go instead of tacos. This place has potential, but some changes need to happen. We might try this place again way later down the road once they become more established. read more

For food I had asada fries. They were recommended to me and for good reason. Here they serve the asada over a bed of crispy shoestring fries. My meal was quite great. Stopped in here on a recent visit to DTO. Ordered the asada, al pastor and carnitas and all were solid 10s. Tried them with the habanero salsa and it was just the right amount of heat where it didn't overpower the food or burn my tongue. The tacos came with fried and pickled onions and they were a nice treat to have in between. They have a ton of other things that'll have to try next time. The service was great and I will definitely come back next time in Oxnard. So we were running some errands in the Camarillo/Oxnard area and we though it would nice to get some tacos. Based on reading some Yelp reviews and seeing some pictures, we ended up here. The menu offers a wide variety of tacos, burritos, and other dishes that are sure to satisfy any appetite. We got 8 carne asada tacos for about $24, chips and salsa for about $6, a simple quesadilla for $9, and a Mexican coke for $3.75. Yup, you read those prices correctly. Our total was almost 50 bucks and I've had much, much better tacos in Oxnard and other places for less than $2 per taco. Yes, they were seasoned nicely, they were not greasy and tasted good with the salsa, onions, and cilantro, but definitely not like a perfect delicious juicy authentic street taco. The tortilla chips were freshly made and really delicious, so sure, will let it slide, but quesadilla for $9? I thought it was insane. Also, please add more lime on the side for the tacos, we just had 2 very very tiny wedges for 4 tacos LOL. Now the services. Angelita, the lady who helped us out at the register, needs to be more self aware. She was giving me such a sarcastic smirk the whole time and even bothered to look at me up and down and rolled her eyes, as if I looked funny or was inferior to her. Excuse me for looking nice on a Sunday afternoon while out with my husband. Later on, she brought the food to our table, saying how we were supposed to put the number she gave us on the table. She actually didn't, and she said it in a way as if she was scolding me LOL. I usually would giggle and apologize, but this wasn't the right tone. Maybeeee, just maybe, she was not having a good day. Overall though, the food was good, delicious but pricey. The service was okay, the other male staff member was super nice and normal. They have seating in the front facing the street and an adorable little patio in the back with plants and beautiful colorful benches. Ehhhh .. went here for dinner . Not the friendliest staff . Do you get agua fresca without ice? Well .. expect to get a smaller sized cup . Restaurants , for example , if serving a 12oz cup should do 10oz agua and 2oz ice not the other way around . It's not what the customer is paying for . Definitely not paying for a cup of ice. I can go across the street and get that free at the Starbucks. The lady basically dumped the agua into a smaller cup when I said no ice, please. Their agua fresca otherwise is mostly ice which I don't think is ok . I have never had this happen at other taco shops when I ask for no ice . My bf asked for ice. When they do scoop ice they use a scooper that they then dump back in the ice maker full of ice (dirty), no washing hands to cut up strawberries for the fresa horchata/gloves and that's just gross. The Asada tacos are dry and the meat is too thick for my liking . Salsas are ok. We will never come back . Lack of basic food prep musts, blah food and poor customer service . read more

This company really sucks. The food is good but they do not care about their clientele. I ate at the Ventura location with my employee on 1/23/25 and when they swiped my card, their systems went out. The lady said I needed to pay cash since the charge did not go through which I did. Then on 1/29 the following week, they charged my card. I was not at their location and called three times regarding the situation. Each lady said the owner was informed and I still have not gotten a call back. Thank the lord I had the lady write me a hand written order receipt. But the owner has wasted hours of my time and I have to now get my bank involved. Seating: We went on a Saturday evening while visiting town so we opted to dine in. Back patio was closed so we ended up sitting in front. There were 4 tables (mixture of 2 or 4 seats). With a family that includes 2 smaller children, we had no choice but to use the available and large enough seating to accommodate us- tall table and chairs and worried if our kid were to sit still and stable enough.
