This place has really good food. I ordered the chorizo quesadilla and was not left disappointed at all. There are two tables outside which get taken by people frequently and the food takes a little while but that's just because it's made fresh when you order. So many people recommended this place to me and I really was looking forward to trying their tacos. I ordered a carne asada taco, adobada taco and a chicharron taco. The adobada was dry and I had to lean on the salsas to help give it some flavor. The carne asada was the best of the bunch but it wasn't anything to rave about. The chicharron taco was nasty. No other way to put it, it was wet and mushy and didn't have much flavor. It seems like this place gets a lot of good reviews so I do plan to give it a second chance at some point. If my experience the second time is better or worse, I will update this review. For now though, there are definitely much better tacos in Medford than el Don. read more

Every time I stop here, Im never disappointed. This is a reliable street vendor, very clean, english and spanish speaking, respectful and family run. The food is always consistent and delicious, and the prices are very fair. One of the few places offering deliciously soft and juicy lengua, just wish they also had cabeza! :-) Best of all they are open till midnight which is hard to come by in this area. I have even come by on a rainy night and they are still open for business, with tarps up around the seating area. There is a constant flow of people coming to eat here, so you know its good. Even when there is a line, they are very quick with the orders so you never have to wait long. I appreciate the ambience as well for being a street vendor in a parking lot, they are quiet and low key which allows for a peaceful meal and conversation with friends and family. Being from San Diego, it's really hard to find good mexican food in the PNW so this place is a gem! Definitely recommend you stop by here, you will keep coming back! The only thing I would change is to add one of those little automatic hand cleansers because my hands are always covered in sauce afterwards! :-P read more

As far as legit street tacos go, these guys are the closest thing I've found since moving to southern Oregon. These tacos aren't pretentious and are rightfully served up in styrofoam plates. Your bottled sodas and water are in large bucket hidden under a bag of ice ready for you to grab. This is the first Street vendor I see that has a wash station (which I witnessed the cook use several times during my visit), so major thumbs up for that. Menu breakdown: TACOS (served on 2x 4" tortillas) QUESADILLAS on large flour tortillas BURRITOS on the same large flour tortillas MULITAS (translation: Little Mule). These are absolute heaven! They take 2 4" corn tortillas, place them on the griddle, add mozzarella to both, top with the meat of your choice, salsa, onions, cilantro, then sandwich both tortillas on top of each other...they are divine! While I was here, many people showed up... obviously regulars. Curse you for keeping this secret spot from me this long! Super extra bonus points for accepting credit card payments and speaking English and Spanish :) PS. Like hot stuff? Give their habanero salsa a try...it's painfully de-lish. read more

Coming from Los Angeles, born and raised, the tacos, burritos and quesadilla are pretty good up here as they come. My partner and I come here every time we are in town and the family that runs it is fairly accommodating. The reason for the 5 stars is because a.) prices are fair for Mexican street food compared to other spots around this region. b.) wash station for the cooks c.) street tacos. That should already be a star on its own. d.) good portions and flavor. And z.) outdoor seating and plenty of salsa to go around.
