First time here. They started a little later than 5pm but worth it. Ordered tacos de asada, chicken, and al pastor. All good. Service was great. Very humble and courteous. There was music in the background making the experience enjoyable. No seating so took it to go. They wrapped the plates with aluminum foil.

Amazing tacos!! Everyone was so nice! You don't have to drive to LA to find really really good tacos anymore, this is it. We pretty much tried one of everything and the meats did not disappoint. You can't go wrong with any. We found them on Instagram and got the address from there. They are right on Whittier and Washington blvd. They accept cash and zelle. Plenty of parking. Go give them a try!

Hands down the best tacos in Whittier. Been living in Whittier for about 10 years and can say these are the best I have so far. Not going to lie that there is one other food truck down the street that was my go to but not after coming across this spot. Service is always great, you will see long lines but they get through them quick.

Some very good tacos! When you see a line formed at 8pm at night you already know it's the good stuff! Probably some of the best tacos I've had! El pastor and asada tacos were on point! Very affordable as well! Go ahead and get in line!!

CHECK THEIR INSTAGRAM TO SEE WHERE THEY'LL BE LOCATED Instagram: tacos_ElNuevoPedimento This place is delicious. I always pass it after a meal in ktown when I'm heading towards the 10 freeway. I always want to stop, but I'm always so full! Finally, we came on an empty stomach. We arrived a bit early, around 5pm and he wasn't ready yet. We waited an hour, and then started seeing people stand in line, so we hurried over to get in on the goods. We had the right idea because the line was growing just from passerby's in the street stopping! We were amazed at how he was using his glove covered hands to flip the meat without burning himself. He'd gently squeeze the meat to see if it was cooked well and ready to serve. The tacos were fat and filled with so much tender carne asada. He cooked the meat perfectly!!! It was all delicious and so reasonable! We got a rib plate and two tacos for $14! Those prices are unheard of nowadays!! We will definitely be supporting more often! I love al carbon cooked meats!!!

So good! We were passing by as they were starting up for the night and took the opportunity, as usually the line is around the block. We got asada tacos, rib tacos, and asada quesadillas. Omg everything was so good. We'll be back for sure.

Really good street tacos! Awesome customer service and they have a variety of foods to choose from. They treat you with kindness. Also, it's cash only! I ordered a lot from there for 3 people and only paid $27. The other included 1 burrito and 9 tacos. Try it if you want some good tacos. Everything is made fresh.

Amazing Food!! Worth the wait in line. The Al pastor is delicious perfectly seasoned and some nice crispy bits. The tortillas for the tacos are freshly made. The costilludas looked delicious. Cash only so I was only able to get a few things but I will definitely be coming back ready to try more items.

Best taco stand in Whitter by far. Green salsa is the best and they have free tostadas while you wait in line.

I went on a taco run yesterday to try to find the best taco in Whittier…read more Started off the run with a keto taco mixed with asada and al pastor and then a regular tripa taco. Keto taco - toasted/grilled cheese instead of a regular tortilla - needed to be done a little more on one side as the cheese wasn't quite toasty enough to stay in place to slightly resemble the shape of a taco. Bit hard to eat, covered my hands in grease. Asada tastes almost boiled, and this being my 2nd or 3rd time getting the Asada here, it consistently tastes like it was boiled and not grilled. Unsure of meat quality or preparation, but there are no grill marks and it's a bit chewy. Same with the al pastor. Tripa taco was bizarre. Strips of flat skin instead of the usual roundish, cylindrical shape of tripa (intestine). Usually a saltier, fattier meat than asada, which is my preference but the one here was lacking in flavor and the texture threw me off a bit. Tripa can be chewy - unless requested extra done, which is how I normally order it - but there was no saving this tripa. I think it needs to be sliced differently, the cuts made it inedible. Brother shared some of his chorizo taco and it was the better of the bunch. Red chorizo, TJ style, although it was also lacking a teeny bit in flavor... onions and cilantro to the rescue! Still, mediocre. Salsas were ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Don't think the tortillas were homemade. Service was fine, cashier takes your order, dude at the counter was chill and had a friendly attitude. Seating was limited. Mostly bar style seating but the majority was in front of a window and it had so much heat trapped from the glass that it was kind of uncomfortable. Other seats are too close to the bathroom. Good for a quick bite or just pick-up orders. Wouldn't plan a sit down/dine-in visit. Parking is scarce and has really small spots, wouldn't come if you're driving a pick-up truck or anything like that. Food was reasonably priced, which is good, however; the food was lacking so I would not return.

(See attached picture). This restaurant is in such an obscure location, I can't believe I was going to a Burrito Track across the street for so many years not knowing this place existed. Friendly staff and prompt service. The unfortunate negative is it's location and I'm referring to parking. There must be 8 business crammed into this lot. With a bar to the right and a laudermat on its left finding a parking spot is like winning the lotto. Now layer in one driveway and you have to make a 3 point turn just to navigate to leave. The short answer is I will absolutely go back to this place as long as there is a parking space to be had.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.
