I asked if the carne asada could be cooked extra crispy, something a previous employee did for me without hesitation, and she immediately gave me pushback. She made it seem like a "take it or leave it" situation, claiming the meat wouldn't look good if put back on the grill, rather than just accommodating a basic customer request. When I clarified what I wanted, she simply stared at me and tossed the meat onto the grill with a terrible attitude, no "sure thing" or acknowledgment, and certainly no apology. Then, when I asked to have my carnitas crispier, she threw them on the grill, but once they were done, she mixed them back in with the rest of the meat on the line instead of using the extra-cooked batch to make my tacos. It completely defeated the purpose of the request and felt genuinely spiteful. As someone with a background in customer service, I know how important attitude and professionalism are. The food is great, but management really needs to hire staff who actually care about treating customers well.
