Came by for asada tacos, $2.99 ea , lil tortillas , which i like! The Al pastor was good too, i asked for "doradita" (pastor lil more crispy). They give you green and red salsa. I'd def come back. Fast Mexican for a good price! I came here late at night to get some dinner and for the price it was pretty good. I got their Birria burrito along with some tacos for my partner. Their taco's are street taco size so get alot if you want a full meal. The reason for the loss of one star is mainly their birria. Its not too flavorful like birria should be, but it still will be a satisfying meal when hungry. The service here is great, our food came out in a timely manner and the server made sure we had all the sauces we could have (They have salsa rojo, salsa verde, and an avocado salsa). All their sauces were great compliments to the food, but my favorite was their salsa verde. Theres enough seating inside to dine in or you can take it to go and eat in the car. The parking situation is a little weird, but we were able to find a parking spot near the gas station located in the same little plaza. Came by to pay a visit and have noticed they have changed their view. Very inviting and homey as if we going out on a nice picnic date. I love how it's more brighter now. Finally I was able to enjoy my Jamaica, was pregnant so I stayed away from it. It really hit the spot. Their burritos were flavorful and that being said, my husband ate it in 3-4 bites while telling me he has to slow down and breathe.. he forgot instantly. So, I decided to buy from here since it was convenient being that it is close to home. The food was good but I won't be going back because they serve very small portions of food for what they cost. For example, the birria plate I ordered for carry out was served in a small plate and the food portions were a joke. The birria that was served was literally 5 little pieces of meat. This spot doesn't look like much from the outside, is a hole-in-the-wall, and right next to an auto body shop. Everything I've ordered here tastes fresh and consistent. I usually order the carne asada huaraches or the carne asada nachos with a fresh juice beverage (usually watermelon). If you're in a hurry call them and order ahead before you pick-up. They are pretty quick. Parking can be difficult when they are busy. There's only about 4 parking spots in front of the building but I haven't had an issue with finding parking. read more

My Father an I went to El Rey for dinner. My dad ordered a # 1 Flautas Combination plate. With no sour cream. But with guacamole. And he maid sure to say guacamole 3 times to the cashier. The cashier said yes and then took my order. We get home to eat and and my dad opens his food to find taquitos. With no guacamole. He is like I did not order this. I call El Ray. And a man answers and then transfers me to someone else. So I explain him the situation. And he is not apologetic or even trying to fix the situation. He just say Flautas are taquitos. I said yes but one is maid with corn and the other is flower. And he says they don't do guacamole. But that's weird. The number 1 picture shows the combination with guacamole and sour cream in the picture. So I said thats false advertisement. And that my dad pacifically said he wanted to guacamole three times. The cashier should've said something right away. Not agreeing with him. After about 10 mins going back and forth forth the person on the phone still did not trying to even once fix the situation or the problem. Did not try to offer anything just said what he said and hung up. So honestly I would not recommend this place. They come off friendly but they don't care about their customers or even if customers ever return. read more
