Don't have to say much 10/10. Flavor was there ; nice authentic vibes. And service was quick.

Every poblanos location is so good. Great and fast service. Food is very consistent and tastes amazing.

Great food at reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the homemade corn tortillas really made the meal stand out. It felt like a comforting home-cooked meal.

Bean rice cheese burrito, cheese wasn't even melted food was cold cheese was still cold. Rice was hard and crunchy. The tacos have zero flavor also we're cold, And the guacamole they put ontop has zero flavor. Second time trying this place and both times it was a huge let down.

Never coming back. First timers. We ordered a quesa-torta which was good. Tortillas for the tacos were falling apart so bad my bf remade my tacos with tortillas from home They completely messed up my order. I ordered four QUESO tacos (2 birria, 2 al pastor). Drove home, opened the food and I had 2 regular al pastor and 2 regular asada tacos. How can they mess it up that badly...???????? Never going back. Complete waste of money. Not to mention they are WAY too expensive for the flavor. We couldn't believe the price before we even got to taste it and glad we didn't like it because we will never spend that much on mid tacos again.

Best Tacos Tuesday in Whittier. If your goin to Costco just drive down the street and grab some tacos!

My wife discovered this restaurant's Instagram profile, and we both agreed that we had to give it a try. I love Tijuana-style tacos, so I ordered one asada taco and one al pastor taco. My wife ordered a mulita al pastor and a tostada de asada. The total came to $22, which I thought was reasonable because of the delicious food. It was so good that I ordered a burrito al pastor to go. I will definitely be returning here more often, and make sure you follow their Instagram: @taqueria_al_poblano.

This was my first time at location. Had a delivery in the area and I tried their com and locations. Figured I'll try them out. See if they're just as good as and yes they were monster size tacos. They were not Shady on Meet meat was juicy, tender, flavorful, guacamole, tested fresh, and agua fresca was refreshing. I used the coupon from the Stater brothers, grocery market down the street and the coupon works at all locations. Highly recommend you try them out if you're looking for quality tacos and don't want to drive to T.J..

Tacos. The carne asada is actually freshly grilled and not from the day before. Love this place.

Sick ahh tacos. The place is clean, the food is fire, and the service is excellent. Definitely coming back. The pastor is actually trompo, iykyk and the asada is actually carne asada on the grill with charcoal. You can taste the freshness. The bad reviews definitely went at the very wrong time because every time I come this place never disappoints and if there's any issue, which we all make mistakes, they will fix with a smile on their face! Carlos gives a high end service at this "taco place"

I went on a taco run yesterday to try to find the best taco in Whittier…read more Started off the run with a keto taco mixed with asada and al pastor and then a regular tripa taco. Keto taco - toasted/grilled cheese instead of a regular tortilla - needed to be done a little more on one side as the cheese wasn't quite toasty enough to stay in place to slightly resemble the shape of a taco. Bit hard to eat, covered my hands in grease. Asada tastes almost boiled, and this being my 2nd or 3rd time getting the Asada here, it consistently tastes like it was boiled and not grilled. Unsure of meat quality or preparation, but there are no grill marks and it's a bit chewy. Same with the al pastor. Tripa taco was bizarre. Strips of flat skin instead of the usual roundish, cylindrical shape of tripa (intestine). Usually a saltier, fattier meat than asada, which is my preference but the one here was lacking in flavor and the texture threw me off a bit. Tripa can be chewy - unless requested extra done, which is how I normally order it - but there was no saving this tripa. I think it needs to be sliced differently, the cuts made it inedible. Brother shared some of his chorizo taco and it was the better of the bunch. Red chorizo, TJ style, although it was also lacking a teeny bit in flavor... onions and cilantro to the rescue! Still, mediocre. Salsas were ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Don't think the tortillas were homemade. Service was fine, cashier takes your order, dude at the counter was chill and had a friendly attitude. Seating was limited. Mostly bar style seating but the majority was in front of a window and it had so much heat trapped from the glass that it was kind of uncomfortable. Other seats are too close to the bathroom. Good for a quick bite or just pick-up orders. Wouldn't plan a sit down/dine-in visit. Parking is scarce and has really small spots, wouldn't come if you're driving a pick-up truck or anything like that. Food was reasonably priced, which is good, however; the food was lacking so I would not return.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.
