Best Tripa tacos ever. They serve the Tripa tacos with shredded lettuce and avocado I was not expecting for them to come out prepared like that, I was in doubt about trying it at first and kinda bummed but it was so delicious. Taco size is big and no they are not stingy with the amount of meat. I ordered one without the lettuce and avocado because I was curious and my fat boy mentality took over, was hard to choose which one's better tasting. I'm a big-time taco person and I am always on the hunt for outstanding and flavorful tacos. I came over here due to reviews and the name really please at all costs do whatever it takes for you to not come here. The people working here are super nice and they honestly run the establishment very well. It was very busy when I went when it comes to what you go to these places for which is to have a great meal and enjoy some tacos. Specially, when you're in Mexico this was not the case. I'm not kidding to you when I tell you, I only had one taco. I had to remove the bags off of my plate and go in the backseat of my car to do well you can imagine had to happen. I have never had any tacos that I've had that reaction out of nowhere I'm not trying to knock the business but it's really beyond me how nobody in this establishment or anyone that has eaten at this is the place can say that the food here is good it really is not. Just 4 minutes from where we were staying. And this is chefs kiss. It's really good. My family and I really enjoyed this spot. The asada tacos have a smoked flavor that was just amazing and al pastor was great too. They give you all the salsas, cucumber, radish, grilled onions, lime, and pineapple bits for the al pastor. It was so good, and they don't skimp you on anything. The drinks are free refill. I recommend the horchata. If you are a tourist and want the taste of locals this is the spot! Excellent tacos! We had the Carne asada tacos served in flour tortillas! We asked for the tacos with everything and the resulting taste was exceptional. The tacos were stuffed with very tasty meat and were served with a variety of salsas and other sides (sliced radishes and cucumber) We arrived at approximately 11:30 AM and were greated by a friendly server who promptly provided us with menus then took our order. We went to one other taco stand while in Ensenada but this establishment was head and shoulders above the other. Hands down our favorite taco shop in Ensenada. Anytime we crave tacos we go out of our way to come here, maybe even three times during the week. We always order their quesataco de al pastor on flour tortillas. They bring out grilled onions, jalapenos and cucumbers while you wait and always have red and green salsa, radishes and limes. Servers are quick and regularly check up on you for anything you may need. They also have someone checking out the parking so you can enjoy your food and worry about your car being broken into. These might be the best tacos en Ensenada...and located on the main drag 10 minutes outside of downtown. We started coming here on the recommendation on my uncle (a local), and we have not been disappointed yet! After coming here, I realized NO TACO IN CALIFORNIA can even compare to an ACTUAL mexican taco. First off tacos in Mexico are not tiny 3x3 tortilla sized. They are like 7x7 sized huge tacos. The meat here is also different, its so tender and juicy ... like filled with juice that rip apart warmly into your mouth. All the tacos come with sides of grilled and charred green onion which is like the perfect vegetable to go with your tacos. Favorite late night taco spot in Ensenada. I have narrowed my fav meats here to be cabeza and al pastor. Cabeza bc they literally steam the cow head on the grill (ask the workers they will show you) resulting in a savory bone-in taste. Al pastor is done differently here than LA, as it is seasoned and roasted on a spit (think shawerma) resulting in a sharper less stewed taste than its LA counterpart. Tripas and lengua tacos are a close second as other reviewers have mentioned. Service is fast and workers are busy yet friendly to help. This is my husband's and my fav place for killer tacos when we head south in Baja. I love the tacos de tripa and he does pastor and carnival.
