Quesa Birria tacos were great! Also tried a pollo Torta with a side of elote- all made to order! Not much seating inside but plenty of seating outside. Service was quick and each order was handled with care. I recommend trying both the green and red hot sauce. I'll definitely be back!

While visiting The Krate, I checked out this taco spot because I was craving some good tacos. Overall, the food was pretty good! The chorizo taco was the best, super flavorful! I also tried the carne asada and al pastor tacos, and both were tasty. Service was just okay, it took a bit longer than expected to get our order. I also got a horchata, but it was too watered down for my taste.

    Fish tacos. Pretty good.

Located inside the Krate container park. Inside seating has only two tables and one of these had two seats. Outside there are multiple tables, most with umbrellas. Good place to come during cooler weather. Very limited parking outside the restaurant so recommend parking in the big lot. Food: burritos, tacos (including fish), quesadillas are some of the limited menu items. Chips and salsa are NOT included so $3.50 for this. And the amount of salsa is not enough, so back inside for more and they provided additional for a couple of chips (see pic). Drinks: no water available besides bottled water @ $2.50. A mark up of 250% or more. One star off. Star off for the 3% surcharge on any credit card transactions. Most restaurants are charged 2-4% by their provider but include this in their pricing. This place should give a discount for cash since most people pay with credit cards in 2025. Time to join the digital age Tacos El Patrón. Eating here was about as much $ as some of the entrees at the nearby Outback that provides courtesy bread AND water. A very mediocre experience.

This little taco shop packs a big flavor punch. While indoor seating consists of only two four-person tables, there are plenty of seating options outside. After perusing the menu, we decided on a chicken quesadilla and (3) shrimp tacos. Service was quick and each order was prepared to perfection. Tacos El Patrón is a local gem that's definitely worth checking out!

Can't go wrong with tacos and a torta. My friend and I love this place. Great vibes. Staff were very friendly and personable. Food came out hot and fresh. The meat was very well seasoned. They have limited indoor seating but plenty outdoor.

While visiting the Krate, I popped in Tacos El Patron for some Mexican food. The worker was not very inviting or friendly. I placed an order for 3 chicken tacos & a bottle of water. The bill came to almost $20 with tax & tip. The tacos were simply average in flavor. Since they weren't large, I was done quickly & still a little hungry. I can't say I was wowed by Tacos El Patron.

Visited Friday at 1130. 3 street tacos for the two of us. Very good. Green (mild) and red (hot) sauce. Friendly service. We'll be back.

Came to Tacos El Patron and enjoyed the asada (steak) tacos. They were full of flavor, fresh and satisfying.

I stopped by here the other day and was very pleased with my food. I order a chicken taco, two steak tacos, a side of guacamole and chips, and an order of churros. For starters, the steak tacos are my fav and will likely be my go to. They are a decent enough size for the price. 3 tacos filled me up nicely. The chicken taco, while good, just didn't hit like the steak tacos for me. Like I said, steak is my fav. The guacamole was not my favorite at all. The texture was much more like a sauce/topping versus a "chip and dip" situation. I prefer my guac to be a different texture. Perhaps if you want some to put on the tacos it's not so bad, but also, I didn't love the flavor either. The churros were pretty good. They have a filling inside the churros which caught me off guard but was a nice surprise because they don't come with sauce and I wanted some type of dipping sauce -- so to have the filling provides that gooey effect. I would definitely recommend this place. They are affordable and we're quick getting my food out.

Fast and friendly service. The food was really good and a fair price. There was plenty of seating even on a busy night when there was a market. Would highly recommended going for good Mexican

Quaint spot with good food. I had the fish tacos (fish was well seasoned and tasty) and sangria. Both were excellent. Got a to go order of churros they were delicious as well. First time there will definitely go back when I'm in the mood for tacos which is often lol.

It's Taco time! And boy am I glad it is! It's also time to try out the new taco place at The Krates that I've been excited to try! The owner greeted me at the door and was so friendly! Authentic menu and authentic tasting for sure! I order 2 chicken tacos supremes and am order of churros. I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into my warm and decadent churro to find a caramel center. Ooey gooey warm and tasty. There's outdoor seating or indoor where it's nice and cool. There's also several alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages to choose from. I ended up sitting outside in the shade and enjoying the atmosphere. I think this will be on my list of places to frequent!

We were in Krate and we were roaming around. For the quick dinner we decided to have tacos from Tacos El Patron. It was a popular tacos restaurant as we had to wait in line for around 10 minutes before being greeted by the cashier Joanna. From the menu we ordered Fish Tacos and Taco Supreme with Rice & Beans. We got our tacos in 10 minutes. The fish tacos as well as tacos supreme with rice and beans were delicious. The fish was cooked well. The tacos were cooked well. We loved our tacos.

Way too salty and dry. Service was quick. The place is small so no real seating inside and it's not really a spot to sit and eat outside.

The staff is consistently quick, friendly, and on top of everything, which makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The menu is what you'd expect from a solid Mexican spot, familiar ingredients done well in a variety of ways. I always go with the #18 (1 burrito, 1 taco, rice, and beans), and it's the perfect portion. Every time, I leave completely stuffed. One of the highlights is when the mariachi band comes around. I once asked for "Rocky Top," and they absolutely nailed it, somehow blending that bluegrass vibe with a Latin twist. It was one of those moments that just makes the night more fun. The only downside, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is the restrooms. They don't quite match the cleanliness and attention you see in the rest of the restaurant and could definitely use more consistent upkeep. Overall, it's a great go-to spot with fast service, good food, and a fun atmosphere. I'll definitely keep coming back.

Service was good this time around but can be hit or miss depending on how busy they are. Staff was nice and was able to sit us quicker than expected considering the holidays. As usual chips and salsa was good and fresh, I ended up ordering the steak fajita to share with my daughter. It was a decent size portion that both of us easily enjoyed and finishing off. The wife and I shared the margarita flight. I personally loved the mango as it had a lite spice to it but the pineapple is my favorite. Now comes for the issue items, that large plate only come with 3 small tortillas that we killed off quickly then I get uncharged $2 for 3 more. Most places give you 5 to start of off and still don't charge for more. We also got a cup of white queso dip. $11.50 for a small cup? Up charge for extra sour cream? It's not the worst thing ever but if you're going to skimp on what should have been on the plate in the first place then you shouldn't up charge when customer asked for more. Other than that I may just come back for drinks and skip out on the food.

Honestly, hands down the worst attempt at Mexican food I've ever had. This place honestly is a disgrace to Mexican food. The salsa was pathetic, no flavor and tasted like plain tomatoes. The second "salsa" we were told is a house favorite. It was literally a cold tomatillo ranch, gross. I got 2 ground beef enchiladas with Tex mex and a chili relleno. The enchiladas were not good but were also not the worst thing ever. The chili relleno however, tasted like a frozen pack of TGI Fridays mozzarella sticks from the store. No joke, you could taste the freezer burn on them. The beans were watery and had no flavor. The rice, you could easily tell has been sitting in a fridge at least over night. It was dry, hard, and also had no flavor. It amazes me these restaurant owners want to have a successful business, but insist on cutting corners and not making fresh food. Your food sucks and I won't be back. I wouldn't even let my dogs eat this food. Harsh huh? Simple solution, make your own food. If you want a successful restaurant, make your own tortillas, cook your own beef, make your sauce fresh everyday, shred fresh cheese, STOP CUTTING CORNERS. Any person with a good palette can clearly tell everything has either been sitting in a freezer or a fridge over night. The ambiance is also quirky and I'm not sure what themes they're going with. Woods, bricks, dogs on the wall, 90's color schemes, it's just not it. It takes me 5 minutes to make great food at home, I'll never understand why restaurants can't do the same. This is the type of place you see on a Gordon Ramsay show that he tries to save. My taste buds will never forgive me for eating here, don't make the same mistake.
