My review includes only the food. I was visiting family, and they ordered and picked up the food. I didn't not interact with the restaurant or employees. I had heard that the owner can be harsh, but I have no experience with that. I had 3 of the shrimp tacos. These are some of the best shrimp tacos I've ever had. First of all, the breaded shrimp were huge. I'm comparing them to Del Taco's shrimp, and these were double the meat per shrimp. The taste of the shrimp was delicious and not overly breaded or rubbery as can be the case when they are overcooked. The tortillas were cooked perfectly, with a bit of puff to them, and crispy enough so they didn't fall apart under the weight of the contents. The flavor of the tortilla was very good as well. The tacos came with a mix of lettuce, tomato, and sauce to compliment the shrimp. I am positively sure that I'll order these again when I'm in the area. read more

As soon as the initial chips and salsa arrived at the table, it was clear I was in good hands. Redolent with Mexican oregano, the salsa bristled with flavor. After she went back outside this man berated her with vulgar expletive filled language in front of and directly to customers (my wife and I) including a family with a young child. We had to get out of the house after being self=quarantined for 26 days. We came across this little spot right off the town square. We ordered inside and the owner's son brought the food out to us. We ate at a table in the square. My wife had the carne asada taco plate. She said it was very good. I had the Baja fish tacos and they were fantastic. There are not many restaurant options in Ajo. We were pleasantly surprised to get a tasty Mexican meal at Tacos El Tarasco. While the restaurant is open for indoor dining, we carried out our meal. The only down side is that the restaurant closes early. read more

The food is very good. You can't pay until the manager decides to return from the back which is around once every 15 minutes. The place has a very empty feel to it. After about a 25-30 minute wait i got my food. The food is delicious, they just need to work on how they operate read more
