Perfect roadside diner for a bite. Near a supercharge station for Teslas and a gas station. We stopped in for breakfast and got the 2 Egg Breakfast and Juevos Rancheros. Good basic coffee, too. Cute mugs for sale that match the ones at your table. Friendly staff and cute space decor for a kitschy good time.

People have really high expectations for a diner. Don't believe the other reviews--this place is great. Stopped on our way to and from Rocky Point/Peñasco. Burgers were large and came with grilled onions, fresh lettuce, tomato. Onion rings are really good--I think they're double fried. Service is very slow bc there are 2 people working. Deal with it. Restrooms were clean. Decor is space themed and great for roadside diner. The interior pairings/murals are really well done! Fine dining, no. Good burger is the middle of AZ desert, yes.

Really cool place. Stopped by on way back to Mesa. The Jupiter burger was great!and only $16. Onion rings were awesome. Ignore the bad reviews, no idea what they are talking about. Good diner with a bunch of alien crap. What else could you ask for. Gila Bend needs more cool stuff. It could be a new hip place

Cheese "omelet", hashbrowns and side bacon

My husband and I stopped here because there honestly isn't anywhere else to stop nearby. We both ordered from the breakfast menu and the hashbrowns tasted old and plastic-y. My husband's chorizo and eggs were still very wet and runny. His corn tortillas were dry and not pliable at all. My "omelet" smelled off and I couldn't find any cheese in it. It wasn't like a normal folded omelet but it was square and appeared undercooked. The bacon I paid extra for was the precooked bacon you can buy in a box at the grocery store. I paid $5.50 for 3 strips of that bacon. We didn't complain and just paid the bill and left. It was $40 total for 2 breakfast dishes and we both had coffee. Hey James and Jimmy, If I could give zero stars, I would.

The Jupiter burger is well seasoned, juicy and delicious. The french fries were nice and crispy and seasoned highly recommend this place if you visit Gila Bend. Our waitresses name is Magda. She had good customer service and always check on us.

We actually didn't stop to eat here. We stopped to use the bathroom while on a roadtrip. The bathroom and restaurant were clean and the staff was nice. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop in!

Food was tasty and everyone has their benchmark for huevos rancheros. I expected little and got more than I deserved with a delicious cup of coffee. Got here at 6:05 right after they opened. Both employees were friendly and provided a great experience overall. They thought I was a guest since this is connected to a hotel right next to it. I just said I'm just passing through like a tumbleweed with a good wind guiding it through parts unknown. Ambiance is what brought me here. Nothing else in town compares to this. Unfortunately no UFO touched down and took me away tonight some distant galaxy. Maybe next time. Support small biz and let them make you smile while you help a community that's struggling to survive.

We ordered the ham steak and eggs w/ O'Brien potatoes and toast (see the picture), a side of pancakes, country fried steak and eggs, and a 2-egg breakfast w/sausage and hashbrowns. The ham steak comes with red eye gravy. I didn't know what that was and hated it. So I scraped it off and used their fresh salsas instead, and it was so dang good. The pancakes were also delicious. They were light and fluffy and had a touch of sweetness. I used the strawberry jam from the toast on the pancake and I think it made it even better. The gravy from the chicken fried steak was also a hit! The food was 95% good, but there were a couple of hiccups. The hash browns were burnt darker than dark. I feel like they should've never made it out of the kitchen. Also, the jalapeño cheddar biscuit was very thick and stodgy. I also got a specialty latte (can't remember which) and that was bitter and not at all something I'd get again. To recap: you can't go wrong with the pancakes or chicken fried steak. Make sure to ask for salsa. Skip the latte. Overall the experience was great and I'd go back next time we're in town.

This location has absolutely no respect for delivery drivers or the customers paying for their…read morefood. Drivers are treated like an inconvenience and can be left waiting 15 minutes or longer. Even when an order is already bagged and ready behind the counter, staff refuse to hand it over. Instead, drivers are told to "wait up front" while completed orders sit there until several deliveries can be taken out at once. Customers pay for timely delivery, yet their completed orders are intentionally delayed for the store's convenience. Drivers are dispatched to pick up orders within expected timeframes, and when completed orders are deliberately held for 15 minutes or more instead of being released, it deprives customers of the timely service they paid for and amounts to what many would consider theft of that service. The attitude is just as bad as the delays. Staff speak to drivers like they're children, with a smug, condescending attitude, and even laugh while drivers are left standing there waiting. Wasting a driver's time is wasting their income, and deliberately holding completed orders means customers aren't receiving the prompt service they paid for. It's disrespectful to the drivers, unfair to the customers, and completely unprofessional.

We actually followed the owners here after frequenting their previous coffee shop, En Route. When they opened New Penny, supporting them was an easy decision. The café is thoughtfully divided into two distinct spaces: a family-friendly dining area and a lounge-style bar area geared more toward adults. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting. There are house-made dishes, local merchandise, a shaded patio, and plenty of charm throughout. My wife's favorites are the Breakfast Totchos and the Acai Bowl. Personally, I am also a loyal Breakfast Totchos fan. As for drinks, the Copper Coin and the legendary Cowboy Latte are both worth ordering. What truly sets New Penny apart, however, is the people. The owners and staff have created a space that feels inclusive, welcoming, and genuinely connected to the community. Support local businesses. Better yet, support local businesses that are doing things the right way. Get to know the owners. Get to know the staff. Places like New Penny don't just serve food and coffee--they create gathering places. Whether you're meeting a friend, taking a business meeting, enjoying a date, or simply looking for a quiet place to sit by yourself, New Penny delivers. One of my favorite local businesses, and one that my family will continue to support.

It's a new location and a very nice building. The place was only about 30% filled so we sat right away. The server was nice, friendly. We arrived during happy hour so got a slight discount on the drinks. So we ordered some buffalo wings. As you can see from the pic we ate them all. They were just OK. No crisp to them and hardly any sauce. Then the food came and oh boy, what a mistake our dinner decision was. My wife got the AZ Burger which tasted like rubber. The fries were strange also, like they were microwaved, cold. She barely ate 1/4 of the burger. Took it home and the kids didn't even eat it. Then to top it off, the dogs turned it down. For my plate I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. Looked good but zero flavor. I loaded it up with salt and pepper and I ended up eating it all. Then I find out the total bill was just about ninety bucks!!!! Holy smokes. One other time I want to the Litchfield park location for breakfast and it was good. But this location, for dinner, never again. Hopefully they just had an off night.

The gravy tasted burnt for some reason. Maybe they used bacon grease that was left on the burner too long? It wasn't burnt but tasted like it. They also didn't give nearly enough gravy. So it was quite dry. Crackers & Co off the 60 & country club is still the hands down winner of biscuits and gravy in the east valley. Fresh squeezed OJ was good. Pricy. But you can taste that they for sure were squeezing their oranges fresh in the back. Pancake dog was pretty good nothing to run home about though. Scrambled eggs were really tasty - not liquid fake egg or powder.
