I've been wanting to come here since I passed it on my last trip to Phoenix. We were seen fairly quickly. Our hostess/cashier/server really can do it all, she works super hard I can't remember her name but if I could I'd include her in here, she's incredible even bringing my girlfriends purse out running to catch us before we left. I really appreciate her for that above the good service. I really liked the theming of the restaurant I'm sure that's what gets a lot of people in here. They have a small yet cool gift shop (I personally like the mugs and shirts). Over the food was a rough 7/10, about average. The onion rings were pretty good I'd recommend them (they're a little sweet). Overall I'd probably visit again if I'm in the area. 3 menus, all had different prices. We should have walked out. The "grilled cheese" cheese wasn't even warm in the middle. The burgers were worse than bowling alley food. The whole area is run down and frankly I think our waitress was high as a kite. They want you to buy the merch up front but you can probably get it all on Amazon for $2? lol. People have really high expectations for a diner. Don't believe the other reviews--this place is great. Stopped on our way to and from Rocky Point/Peñasco. Burgers were large and came with grilled onions, fresh lettuce, tomato. Onion rings are really good--I think they're double fried. Service is very slow bc there are 2 people working. Deal with it. My husband and I stopped here because there honestly isn't anywhere else to stop nearby. We both ordered from the breakfast menu and the hashbrowns tasted old and plastic-y. My husband's chorizo and eggs were still very wet and runny. His corn tortillas were dry and not pliable at all. My "omelet" smelled off and I couldn't find any cheese in it. It wasn't like a normal folded omelet but it was square and appeared undercooked. The bacon I paid extra for was the precooked bacon you can buy in a box at the grocery store. I paid $5.50 for 3 strips of that bacon. We didn't complain and just paid the bill and left. It was $40 total for 2 breakfast dishes and we both had coffee. Funny little place. Everyone was really friendly and kind. The atmosphere was filled with space stuff, that was fun. We were there for breakfast. It was very basic. Eggs, hash browns, toast. Bacon or sausage was extra. Which leads me to prices. They were out of this world (see what I did there?). Exorbitant. $12.99 for two eggs, one potatoes worth of hasbrowns, a piece of toast. $5.99 for coffee. $6.99 for two slices of back or a sausage patty. Sorry, but unless your food is sprinkled with gold dust, that's just nuts. We won't be back even though service was nice. We can't afford smiles like that. read more

Food was tasty and everyone has their benchmark for huevos rancheros. I expected little and got more than I deserved with a delicious cup of coffee. Got here at 6:05 right after they opened. Both employees were friendly and provided a great experience overall. They thought I was a guest since this is connected to a hotel right next to it. I just said I'm just passing through like a tumbleweed with a good wind guiding it through parts unknown. Ambiance is what brought me here. Nothing else in town compares to this. Unfortunately no UFO touched down and took me away tonight some distant galaxy. Maybe next time. I made an interesting choice today. Chili cheese double burger with onions and a side of onion rings. Amazingly, I survived and so did my digestive system! This place is/was a neat little stop while traveling. Sadly it has become just another struggling overpriced destination. I can understand trying to make a profit. There is a fine line between profit and price gouging! And Space age has obliterated that line. $5.99 per Egg! As a side that is gouging at it's finest. $75.00 breakfast for 2!!! What was once a cute and fun little stop, has now become a gimicky overpriced disaster. Contrary to the horrible experiences some people have had, we had a perfectly fine breakfast here. It was included with our motel stay and a solid breakfast freshly prepared. We were greeted immediately upon entry and asked if we were from the motel. I think they segregate guests from other patrons as the motel breakfast is its own menu. This place was awful. We drove over an hour just to eat at this place and spent over $140. Most of the food came out of a can believe me you could tell. The prices were not worth the food. The food was cold and reheated and rubbery and tasted like maybe it was from the day before, it was tastless and cold. Service was not good we kept having to ask for the food they didn't bring the first time. Granted we were a party of 4 adults and 3 toddlers but there was not anyone else in the restaurant. My Husband was so disgusted he didn't eat his food but we're good people so we paid for it anyway and didn't complain but we will not ever eat here again and we will tell all our friends not to eat here. read more

Outside Ambiance: 3 Stars - Restaurant looks pretty cool but I wish they could go all out and add more spaceships, planets, astronauts/aliens on top of the building and in the front of the building and be more colorful. Outside of the building is a little outdated and just needs a little revamp. Inside Ambiance: 5 Stars - Very clean! Tables clean! Bathrooms clean! Floor clean! Awesome painted artwork on the walls, cool looking aliens hanging around, & nice simple gift shop. Service: 5 Stars - Greeted & welcomed! Seated quickly, drinks came quickly, food took perfect amount of time to come out for 2 adults & 4 kids(not too fast, not too long), checked in with us, & overall service was a joy! Food: 6 Stars - Drinks were cold & tasted great. We got a burger, it was cooked perfectly, bun was perfectly toasty, fries had a above average perfect crisp to them. We got country fried steak, it tasted as perfect as it could get, and the gravy was great! Please see my photo Page 3 of the menu. We were under impression that Dinners came with a choice of soup or a side salad, AND choice of potato. Apparently, Spaghetti and meatballs come with nothing to choose. Chicken tenders and Liver came with one choice of potato. The server did not know what was included. I chose this diner for the decore and the fact that there weren't many options between Tucson and Yuma. We got there a little after 1 pm on a holiday Monday in February. We waited a few minutes to be seated. We waited much longer than few minutes to place our order. We got our food after 2 pm. The service seemed extremely slow with just one person doing everything in the dining room. And she didn't seem knowledge about the menu. The food was so-so with two out of four dishes being good. It's possible we would have liked our food better had we not waited for it so long! Also, we were looking forward to items that we thought were included with the dinners such as a soup or salad. We would have ordered them separately if we were told right away that they were not included with the dinners. How is it clear from the menu that Liver and Onions comes with a choice of the potato but Spaghetti does not? We asked for soup and potato, but were told that only one item is included. Why potato, maybe we would rather have a soup? Giving it 3 stars because we did get to eat and the décor was cool. read more

I loved the Space decor. However the food and service wasn't that great. I went for lunch and it wasn't that busy. It looked like there was only one waitress working. I think she also had to make the food! I felt bad for her since she had to do everything. That's why it took a long time for me to receive my order. I had some chicken strips with half fries and half onion rings. The chicken strips were horrible! Tough and chewy. I couldn't eat them. The fries were okay. The onion rings were good. read more

Strange place. Upon walking in we were told that they were under new management and that their prices have increased and hours changed. Prices were honestly kind of shocking. $7 for a drink, $12 for a milkshake, $23 for a burger. Basically Disneyland prices but you're just at a diner in the middle of the desert. Cool place with a cool history, but whatever the new owner is doing ain't it. Other people were sitting down, seeing the menu and leaving. It's a diner with a unique style, this isn't some premium luxury dining experience. I paid $15 for a tuna sandwich with onion rings. Onions rings were fresh and good, sandwich was mediocre.
