Perfect roadside diner for a bite. Near a supercharge station for Teslas and a gas station. We stopped in for breakfast and got the 2 Egg Breakfast and Juevos Rancheros. Good basic coffee, too. Cute mugs for sale that match the ones at your table. Friendly staff and cute space decor for a kitschy good time.

Really cool place. Stopped by on way back to Mesa. The Jupiter burger was great!and only $16. Onion rings were awesome. Ignore the bad reviews, no idea what they are talking about. Good diner with a bunch of alien crap. What else could you ask for. Gila Bend needs more cool stuff. It could be a new hip place

Cheese "omelet", hashbrowns and side bacon

My husband and I stopped here because there honestly isn't anywhere else to stop nearby. We both ordered from the breakfast menu and the hashbrowns tasted old and plastic-y. My husband's chorizo and eggs were still very wet and runny. His corn tortillas were dry and not pliable at all. My "omelet" smelled off and I couldn't find any cheese in it. It wasn't like a normal folded omelet but it was square and appeared undercooked. The bacon I paid extra for was the precooked bacon you can buy in a box at the grocery store. I paid $5.50 for 3 strips of that bacon. We didn't complain and just paid the bill and left. It was $40 total for 2 breakfast dishes and we both had coffee. Hey James and Jimmy, If I could give zero stars, I would.

People have really high expectations for a diner. Don't believe the other reviews--this place is great. Stopped on our way to and from Rocky Point/Peñasco. Burgers were large and came with grilled onions, fresh lettuce, tomato. Onion rings are really good--I think they're double fried. Service is very slow bc there are 2 people working. Deal with it. Restrooms were clean. Decor is space themed and great for roadside diner. The interior pairings/murals are really well done! Fine dining, no. Good burger is the middle of AZ desert, yes.

The Jupiter burger is well seasoned, juicy and delicious. The french fries were nice and crispy and seasoned highly recommend this place if you visit Gila Bend. Our waitresses name is Magda. She had good customer service and always check on us.

We actually didn't stop to eat here. We stopped to use the bathroom while on a roadtrip. The bathroom and restaurant were clean and the staff was nice. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop in!

Food was tasty and everyone has their benchmark for huevos rancheros. I expected little and got more than I deserved with a delicious cup of coffee. Got here at 6:05 right after they opened. Both employees were friendly and provided a great experience overall. They thought I was a guest since this is connected to a hotel right next to it. I just said I'm just passing through like a tumbleweed with a good wind guiding it through parts unknown. Ambiance is what brought me here. Nothing else in town compares to this. Unfortunately no UFO touched down and took me away tonight some distant galaxy. Maybe next time. Support small biz and let them make you smile while you help a community that's struggling to survive.

I made an interesting choice today. Chili cheese double burger with onions and a side of onion rings. Amazingly, I survived and so did my digestive system! Quite tasty, a little messy and otherwise unremarkable. Service was warm enough and I had wifi to keep me entertained for the ten or so minutes it took for my late lunch / early dinner to be prepared. Cute restaurant with lots of merch available. We actually followed the owners here after frequenting their previous coffee shop, En Route. When they opened New Penny, supporting them was an easy decision. The café is thoughtfully divided into two distinct spaces: a family-friendly dining area and a lounge-style bar area geared more toward adults. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting. There are house-made dishes, local merchandise, a shaded patio, and plenty of charm throughout. My wife's favorites are the Breakfast Totchos and the Acai Bowl. Personally, I am also a loyal Breakfast Totchos fan. As for drinks, the Copper Coin and the legendary Cowboy Latte are both worth ordering. What truly sets New Penny apart, however, is the people. The owners and staff have created a space that feels inclusive, welcoming, and genuinely connected to the community. Support local businesses. Better yet, support local businesses that are doing things the right way. Get to know the owners. Get to know the staff. Places like New Penny don't just serve food and coffee--they create gathering places. Whether you're meeting a friend, taking a business meeting, enjoying a date, or simply looking for a quiet place to sit by yourself, New Penny delivers. One of my favorite local businesses, and one that my family will continue to support.

Had we known, we would have skipped this place. I even sat next to a trucker who said this is by far the slowest restaurant in the area, and that he only comes here if he has "a few hours to kill." Not a glowing review, seeing as he passes through the surrounding area frequently. Our waiter was apologetic and I felt for him. He was the only server assigned to 4 booths and an entirely full counter, which sat 12 I believe. He was running around trying to assist everyone, but it is clear that there should be 2 servers in the bar area. When we checked out, I noticed the rest of the restaurant had very few plates of food on the tables. People were twiddling their thumbs, looking at the kitchen expectantly. The food was fine, but I want to warn people passing through Tonopah to avoid at all costs if you don't have hours to wait for simple diner food.
