Amazing service, best staff in Chandler!! And the atmosphere is great, really well done food!

Great experience! We stopped in for lunch after reading all the positive reviews and we were promptly greeted. No seats were available inside (good sign) so we went outside in the shaded patio with misters and found an open table. Our server, Oliver, was awesome! Very friendly and attentive and helpful with items on the menu. For drinks we ordered an old fashioned and a pint of church music. Both good choices. Since it's a burger joint, Hubs ordered the Balboa and I ordered the Yeti. Wow! My burger was to die for. The rosemary goat cheese with bacon jam was the perfect combo of tangy and sweet! Hubs was eating his burger without any complaints which is what you want. Both of us went with the hand cut fries. Crispy and very good! We can't wait to return. This place is legit! read more

I want to like this place... Beer selection is awesome, but the burgers leave a lot to be desired. They nuke these to well done on one of those auto burger press cookers. The beef quality sub par: Lack of flavor and weird mealy grind that has some inedible chunks in it. It seems like bargain food service ground beef. I know ingredients cost is out of control especially for beef, but for $17+ a burger I expect to be able to define the cook I want with some type of local beef, a good blend like chuck + brisket, or wagyu. You can head over to Four Peaks, AZ Wilderness, Ghost Ranch, Bad Jimmy's and many other spots nearby and get a far superior burger in the same price range. In fact, I think almost any sports bar nearby probably makes a better burger. If they sorted out their burger game this place would be a 4.5. Brew's, you can do better. read more

Bad attitude waitress. We brought 10 people for happy hour. We were not allowed to pull 2 high top tables together to accommodate us all. The bar tender said sit outside or at the bar. Very unaccommodating especially when the establishment only had 2 other people inside. We were forced to sit at the bar or she said sit on the patio in high (in 110 deg.) temperature. Then we were not allowed to order from the children's menu. We asked for a child's chicken finger order and she boxed a full adult order saying to us "I know what you're doing". (Re: going to eat our to go children's order at the bar as our meal). We should have gotten up at that point and left with the entire group never to return. Bad attitude. read more

Highlights: This small bar has probably the some of the best customer service I've ever received - they are so on top of things, thoughtful with your order and really make you feel at home. We asked if they could turn on the sound for the World Cup and they were more than willing to accommodate. I thought the Balboa burger was very good and I would have enjoyed the gas lamp burger better if the red pepper didn't keep slipping out. They don't charge you if you change fries for tots or even your burger patty for a chicken or turkey patty, which is really nice. Lowlights: I'm a big french fry eater and I didn't really like the fries here I found them too soft. The majority of their tables inside are barstools, which is a bit uncomfortable for me personally. read more

They warmly greeted us when we walked in and the server remembered every detail - silverware, extra napkins, the chipotle ranch we asked for... Dinner on a Friday night with 10 people and they were able to get us in and provide a great expierence. Huge vibe in a small spot which we liked! Our server (fellow hockey player) was nice, attentive and gave great recommendations. I got the burger of the month which was pastrami, sauerkraut, thousand island, burger patty on a rye bun. Absolute fantastic and hott off the grill! Also got the birria burger which was packed with flavor and delicious. Also great beer selection! Patio dining on a beautiful night in Arizona. Bonus. Good list of beverages on tap along with a few cocktail suggestions on table tent. I'm told by my son that they grind their meat fresh. Not sure if that's daily, before making each burger or what, but it serves no purpose to have a fresh ground burger if you can't have it cooked to order. All burgers are cooked to done. Well. No pink. Cocktail, the Blackberry Gin Mojito, is good. Burgers look good and come with lots of French fries. We did not get checked on regularly enough for me to ask for a side of Mayo. I managed to eat about ¼ of my burger. Could I tell it was fresh ground beef? Not at all. Will I opt to go back again? Not likely. read more

We found our new burger spot!! My husband and I stopped in on Saturday evening and it was packed inside! We were greeted immediately. We waited a few mins for a seat to open up and were given a menu to look over. There are tons of options! I went with the classic - the OG, their regular cheeseburger, with Monterey Jack cheese. My husband got the Bourbon trail. Burgers are not cooked to specification, as they are smash burgers. They are SO flavorful and juicy! So friggen good. And the fries are bomb. Fresh cut, fried to perfection. The staff are so friendly. It was really cool watching them interact with a lot of the customers at the bar, who are obviously regulars. Right across the street from one of my shops so it's convenient to hit for a quick burger or sandwich lunch. The staff was friendly and the clientele was cool. The place is pretty small but they have some outside seating to accommodate. It's like a little sports bar with TV's on the wall behind the bar but has a little cooking area off to the side. The food is good with a pretty good assortment for the size of the kitchen. I recommend this place for sure, nice and cool little neighborhood bar and grill. read more

Stopped in for a bite on a Saturday afternoon. The place doesn't have much seating inside, but there are a few tables outside. There was one high top table open so we asked if it was cool to grab it. We were then told it was reserved. Since it was so hot out we were just going to head somewhere else. Then a lady came out and said go ahead and take the table. After that everything went fine. The drinks and food tasted good and the pricing wasn't bad. I'll probably stop back by when the weather is better in case we need to sit outside. read more

This place is amazing! The burgers here were absolutely amazing! They have an extensive beer menu with local beers on tap and offer the opportunity to try their selection. We had the fried pickles (batter is delicious) and the potato skins that came with pico which I'd never had but was delicious. The table picked The G.O.A.T, The Bourbon Trail and the Phatty Melt. The consensus is that everyone wanted to return to try a different burger. Smiles all around and another spot to dine in town. Don't sleep on this place! read more

Their Michelada with the pickle beer is fantastic! The food was really good. It's a small spot so not great for large groups unless you want to sit on the patio, but the prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. They get pretty busy so it might take a while to get the food out or ordered, but they keep the drinks coming! read more

Very unhappy with the service at the alma school location. My party of 10 walked in at 2:30 pm on a thursday. There were only Two patrons in the bar area. We wanted to move two tables together so we could all hear the conversations. We were told by justice, the manager, that we could not move the tables. There were only tables of four in the whole bar. If i was not with such a big party, i would have walked out then. So we all sat around the bar. . I could see my friends but not engage in the conversations. We were offered outside seating in the 114 degree heat but we declined. Of course.. i also have another complaint about this establishment but will make another review for that issue. I do not plan to ever stop into this location again and will recommend anyone in my party to find a more accommodating location. The bar just lost 10 patrons with dinner and drink orders from now on since they could not move two tables together in an empty bar.. seems silly.. read more

I wanted to share my overwhelmingly positive experience at your restaurant today Our server/Kalli went above and beyond, providing exceptional service. She not only expertly guided us through your beers and sours on tap offering samples of several different items (including a couple we hadn't even considered!), but her recommendations were spot-on. I was particularly delighted by the pickle sour - it was absolutely divine! Her attentiveness extended to creating a custom taste-test experience for me, allowing me to sample the house-made Mitchell lotta. (It was incredible!) Kalli is a gem thought she was the owner she shows to compassion care and concern for each and everyone of the customers in this establishment..not easy to find these days. We will be back and mostly because of her. Thank you.. Beyond the exceptional service, the food was equally outstanding. The burger patty was juicy and flavorful, and the onion rings were perfectly crisp and golden. But the highlight for me were the french fries - truly exceptional, the best I've had in a long time. Their freshness was evident in every bite. While the restaurant/bar itself is small and intimate, this adds to its charm. We particularly enjoyed dining in the outdoor area. New restaurant for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. This place is definitely a tiny local joint but the service and food make it feel like a five star place. When you walk in don't be surprised how tiny it is. There is outdoor seating but still pretty tiny. We were helped immediately. We got water right away along with our beer order taken immediately. Appetizer was ordered right away and everything was so fast to come out. Food? INSANE! The spicy cheese curds were perfectly fried with cheese still almost squeaky (perfection) and a perfect light hint of spice. The wings came out steaming hot and absolutely drenched in sauce (none of this stingy sauce nonsense that seems to be the norm lately). The only downfall was that they were a little tough. That was the only "misstep" of the evening. We also shared the birria burger and WOW. Perfect flavors, moist meat, perfect amount of cheese and onions. Literally insane. This is a small joint in a strip mall. We stumbled upon this. So glad we did. When we entered we were greeted by the bartender and server who work interchangeably. It was busy at the bar so we took a seat in the corner. We ordered a couple of beers and then moved seats once another table opened up for better sports viewing. The beers were cold the burger was tasty and the onion rings were worth it. If we lived closer this would be a weekly stop. Get here if you can. Palmer is the guy to see. I decided to check this place out since I was nearby and needed want to try a new place. I believe this place used to be an Italian deli. It's not a very big place, even with the outdoor seating. I sat at the bar and service was very quick. I perused the menu and found it difficult to decide on a burger because they all sounded pretty good. Eventually, I settled on the Bourbon Trail Burger. I also ordered some fried cheese curds as an appetizer and the server kindly submitted those before my burger order. The cheese curds were pretty good! Lightly coated and golden brown. At $10, they were definitely on the pricey side. Outside of their fries and tots, most of their sides are a minimum of $10. I don't know that I'd be willing to do that again as the value isn't really there. My burger arrived with a healthy portion of french fries. I'm picky about french fries and I thought that these were excellent! Think McDonald's fries, but with skins on them and perfectly salted. If I'm being honest, the burger was slightly disappointing. It lacked a defining flavor. I didn't really taste the bourbon aioli sauce. The burger wasn't horrible, but it wasn't anything that would compel me to want to order it again in the future. Also, I wish there was an option for the burger to be cooked with a little pink in the middle as I thought that the burger was slightly overcooked. If they do offer the option for pink, I was never asked. It's not a deal breaker, but it's something to note. In spite of the lackluster burger, I'm willing to give them another shot. There are other burgers on the menu that I wouldn't mind trying. read more

I know this is mainly a burger and brewery spot, but hear me out: the cheese curds here are so good! They actually squeak! They're probably the best I've had in Arizona so far. I constantly think about them. I would go back for the cheese curds alone. Service is super nice and they're dog friendly as well. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor seating includes bar top and regular tables. I would say it's best to go with a smaller party. Although on the pricier side, everything on the menu seems to be made with a lot of thought and care. My partner and I enjoyed our burgers. Brews Burger Joint - Ocotillo. I ordered the Bourbon Trail burger with cheddar, bacon, grilled onions, crispy fried onions and Bourbon Aioli. Wes ordered the Patty Melt with Swiss cheese, caramelized onions and chipotle sauce on Rye bread. Wes liked his sandwich. The server Kalley indicated that the bread was baked fresh from Venezia's. My sandwich was also very good but exceptionally messy. would have been much easier to serve it on a plate with a fork and a knife. The burgers were served in wire baskets. I would order mine again. I thought about ordering the cowboy which was a basic burger with jalapeno. The location was exceptionally small. I was expecting a brew house. They did not serve their own beer, although I got a nice Belgian white and a Hefeweizen. The server offered multiple tastes of each of the offered beers which was very very nice. For service I give them a 10 out of 10. For the burgers, maybe an eight because I don't like messy burgers. read more
