Percheron Mexican grill is just a food truck with some outdoor covered seating. If that's not your thing, they also have a real restaurant 3 minutes away. The menu is pretty sizable (literally and physically)! The classic Percheron is diezmillo steak, mozzarella, avocado, tomato, onion, mayo, wrapped in a flour tortilla and bacon! $15. I was behind two parties of two and my food took 15 minutes. I opted to take the food to go, since it was 9:45 pm. Thats always a risk because the food might not be as fresh as when it's freshly served. The woman ahead of me asked for well done crispy bacon wrap. I should have done the same, but I wanted to try it the standard way first. I really wanted to love this, but the standard soggy bacon wrap is not my thing. My stomach could not cope with the grease either -- this looks like pretty low quality bacon that is mostly fat. I was pretty disappointed and only finished half!

I was happy to see that they still have the covered seating area with a few tables, should you wanna sit in there. They also have another seating area right in front of the food truck. Anyway, the service was stellar! When I was trying to decide what to order, the guy manning the orders simply offered me samples of the meats! It was so kind, and actually really helpful. We knew we wouldn't finish it, but we figured we would have the burritos the next day. We also ordered two drinks, and I was surprised to see how large they were. I believe the tacos were four dollars each and the Carne Asada one was six dollars. I'm not sure how much the burritos were, or the drinks. When I asked my total, I could've sworn he said $60 something dollars. After I ordered, it looked as though he wasn't going to give me a receipt, so I asked for one, simply because I was curious as to how much each thing was. When I got the receipt, it had no pricing information on it. We got such great service that I just let it go, especially since I had asked the total and he had already told me 60 something. However, when I looked at my account this morning, I was charged 72. So I am a little confused about that. I could have heard wrong though so I won't hold that against them. Honestly, the food is really good, presented well, and the salsas were amazing. They also have a handwashing station, forgot to mention that! I will be back to this place, and I will get a better understanding of the prices before I pay next time :D All in all, I would recommend trying this spot!

It's two corn tortillas with melted cheese and meat in between. "Mixta" meant a variety of different meats. Because corn tortillas are generally smaller than flour, it was smaller than a typical quesadilla or caramelo. But it was tasty. They have a good salsa and veggie bar. It's a very casual place, one large room, no table service. My friends were happy with their birria. Prices are reasonable. My lunch came to just $10.15 including tax and tip. It's 100% worth every cent because everything is fresh and full of flavor. They also have a menu if you want to order and eat there, which we love. The tacos and burritos are always delicious, and OMG the birria is amazing. My whole family loves eating here. Thankfully we live about 5 minutes away, so we come often. The ambience is always welcoming, the staff is friendly and helpful and it's always clean and stocked. I also love that they have a salsa bar where you can grab salsas, pico, lime, and more. This is how I feel about Rollies…read more It's not the best at anything, but it's the most consistent. It's like the In and Out of Tucson, it's not the greatest Mexican food, but you can rely on it. And it's reasonable. I have been here a bunch of times and I have never had a bad experience. The decor is simple, colorful, and music not too loud. The staff is always nice and helpful. They run a tight ship here and it's noticed and appreciated. Is the birria the best? No. Is the Carne Asada? No. But they both are good. Not knock you off your feet good, but good. Get it? The Carne Asada has noticeable flavor and it's mostly juicy. I do mark it down a bit because it tends to be kibble like and not cut like traditional Asada. But it's forgivable. The birria could use a tad more salt, but it's flavorful and easy to eat. My favorite thing is the Chimi Sumo, it's a solid take on a Chimichanga and is the right amount of food. They are one of the very few places in Tucson that has keto tacos, so that goes in their favor. I want to try the Birria Pizza, I have yet to try one anywhere and I feel like Rollies can give me a solid first experience with that. All in all, Rollies is a solid, above average resturant in Tucson. I enjoy them, and it's a good place to have lunch or an early dinner during the week.
